In my pyjamas, sipping tea in the backyard after a rough night. It’s so breathtakingly beautiful here at the farm that I can’t help but feel a little cheered. I thought I’d share my morning with you…

hungry birdyEveryone’s ready for breakfast.

herbspotThings are busy growing.

stickThere’s quite a bit of stick chasing and stick chewing going on.

bunny 2A rabbit has come by to visit! I hope he doesn’t eat too much of my garden.

frangisThe mist is lifting and it’s going to be a magical day.

Lots and lots of love to you, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. My world (my morning ) is so different in the U.K. to yours but just as beautiful . I ‘ve just took my dog Oscar out for early morning walk . The sky is a light blackish blue and the moon is still smiling an antique gold smile ( at that time it was 7.30 ) and there was a crushed ice feeling in the breeze. So you shared a slice of your beauty with me and I’ve shared a slice of beauty with you. What a lovely breakfast .

  2. Awesome..I can really get the picture. Here the morning dew forms crystal beads on the frail mauve ends of the molasses grass heads….. Its fairy land early on a brisk morn. Inductive Aloha

  3. It makes me feel nice nice & cool looking at your photos. It’s a 46 degC day here in South Australia. Have just come inside for breakfast after being outside for a few hours watering the shrubs that look most needy, the herb garden, all the pots, changing over the irrigation in the vineyard & fixing some drippers, and topping up water for the chooks & the dogs. We’re back inside, all but the chooks 🙂 & hunkering down for a bit of a slow day. To help cool down I’ll recall some of that lush green from beautiful northern NSW. Thanks for sharing your morning & may the rest of your day be just as beautiful x
