10 Reasons Why You Need My End-Of-Year Retreat!

“Reach deep within, and reconnect with the essence of your being.”
~  Bryant McGill

Do you need some time for recharging, reconnecting and being re-inspired? In late November I’ll be running my final residential retreat for 2017 in beautiful Byron Bay, Australia. It’s a special time of year for my team and I. We plan this retreat, no matter what the content focus might be, as a week of Soul Sanctuary – time for self-nurture, friendship, reflection, planning and the foundation of some truly life-changing habits.

This year’s theme is ‘Working With Crystals’.

Here are 10 reasons why you might need to be a participant on this retreat:

  1.  If you’ve always wanted to meditate and you don’t know how, or can’t seem to get into that space on your own, come join us. I’ll teach you a range of simple meditation techniques, including using crystals in meditation. You’ll also get to make a meditation mala to take home with you!
  2. If you are attracted to crystals, and own a few, but have no idea what to do with them, we can help you. This retreat is a Crystals 101 course – aimed at building a solid foundation of skills to help you choose, use and enjoy working with crystals in lots of different and helpful ways. Meditations, grids, mandalas, healing stones and talismans – we explore it all.
  3. If you want to explore and develop your psychic and intuitive skills in a safe and supportive environment, we’ll walk you through the basics and a few extra little steps, using easy and straight-forward methods.
  4. If you’d like to learn how to use tarot and oracle cards intuitively, to give readings for yourself and others, even if you’ve never done anything like this at all, come hang out with us. (And don’t worry if you’re already great at this because I’ll have some new insights for the old hands!)
  5. If you’ve ever used bush flower, bach or crystal essences, and wanted to learn how to make them for yourself, we’ll be showing you at retreat. You’ll take some home in your toolkit, and be gifted one made by Nicole just for you!
  6. If you’ve been interested in reiki or hands-on healing and energy work, but don’t know what to do, we’ll be teaching you some really simple techniques you can use for yourself, your loved ones and your pets.
  7. If you’d love a week of seasonal organic local ingredients, showcasing the best that the Byron Shire has to offer, lovingly prepared as high-vibration meals cooked by our own personal chef and her team – so that you leave retreat feeling healthy, nurtured and well nourished – this retreat is for you.
  8. If you’re hankering for connection with like-minded people, the chance to make new friends, and to work with a teacher who mentors you and holds space for you to be your very best self, a teacher who goes above and beyond in her connection with you, we’re your people. Come join us.
  9. If you want to actually make things, feel things and engage your heart and hands, you’ll love this very practical and hands-on retreat.
  10. If you want next year to be different, and to make the most of the energies of 2018, you need this retreat. 2018 is fast approaching, and its heart-centred energies support connection, collaboration, communication and community. It will be a year for expressing ourselves in the world, for starting and growing life-changing projects, for truly becoming more and offering more of our gifts, talents and wisdom. This Retreat will help you to understand the energies and opportunities of 2018, and get you started with a plan, a full spiritual tool-kit and a personal session with Nicole, focusing on how to make the most of the year ahead.

And did I mention crystals? Such a wonderful array to work with, and some special stones to take home!

My retreats are much more than just a learning environment. They are a safe place for your Soul to evolve. They are a coming together of like-minded people for sharing and connection, and they are a journey that will accelerate your understanding of and love for yourself and your place in the world.

You’ll go home after Retreat relaxed, well-fed (the food is divine!), energised and with a full toolkit of crystals, a solid spiritual practice for your own ongoing development, new friendships, peace in your heart, and a warm glow from being nurtured, supported and revitalised.

This week will suit everyone from complete beginners to those of you who are advanced in your personal or professional practice. It’s also a week where you will be able to recharge after the big year that 2017 has been, and where you will be able to prepare yourself for the new year and all its possibilities.

To find out more email my wonderful PA, Dana Hartnell, directly at nicolecodyinfo@gmail.com and she’ll send you some more information and an Expression of Interest form just as soon as she can.

We look forward to having you join us for a very special and transformative experience.

Much love, Nicole ❤ xoxo

October Stones – A New Competition For You

Creativity takes courage ~ Henri Matisse

Hello Lovelies

Every day in October I am meditating with these two stones – stones that feel comfortable as I hold them in my hands, stones which are being infused with the energy of my love, intentions and meditations. At the end of October, I shall give them away to a reader, along with a personalised guided meditation made just for the winner.

Let me introduce you to these two stones. The first stone is basalt with seams of milk quartz and it holds the energies of the ocean and the earth. It is an anchoring stone, and it comes from Belongil Beach in Byron Bay, which is a place of great healing and transformation.

The energies and intention infused into the Byron Bay Beach Rock are that the holder comes to know a true sense of creative direction and that inspiration and imagination become gifts to lift you out of stuckness and back into flow.

This beach stone is the Anchoring Stone, which helps us to stay grounded, clear and calm, connecting into our bodies, and to the earth and nature. It’s a nurturing and comforting stone, and holding it brings me to a state of profound inner quiet.

The second is a Lemurian Singing Quartz, from the wilds of Tasmania. It’s a very strong energy stone with deep ridges along its sides that can be stroked during meditation. This activates the stone just the way you’d open a filing cabinet to access the files inside. Holding this stone makes me feel hopeful, positive and alive! The Quartz is the Connection Stone, enabling us to connect into our intuition, Higher Self, Guides, Ancestors and the Divine. My intention is that this Singing Quartz helps you to hear your inner voice and to access your creative gifts. It supports imagination, clear vision and passion for life.

Used together in meditation these stones will help you to find your inner creative energy, and remove blocks to self-expression and flow of ideas and art.

September Stones – last call for entries!

“When you leave a beautiful place, you carry it with you wherever you go.” ~ Alexandra Stoddard

Hi Lovelies,

Reblogging this as the last call for entries on the September Stones!

Love lots,
Nicole and Cauldrons and Cupcakes Team

***

Every day in September I am meditating with these two stones.

The stones are intended to be held, one in each hand, as you sit in meditation. I’ll be giving these stones away, as well as recording a personalised guided meditation for the winner!

As I hold these stones in my hand each day for the month of September I meditate with the intent that they will hold energies in a way that can be transferred to the user.

The first stone is Morion, from the wild West Coast of Tasmania. It is this month’s Anchoring Stone and its energies help us to stay grounded, clear and calm, connecting into our bodies, and to the earth and nature.

Morion is a very dark form of Smoky Quartz – the crystal is so dark that it is almost black. It helps us to feel safe in ourselves, safe in our bodies, emotionally stable and deeply grounded. It pulls our scattered energy back to us, helping us to become strong and clear.

My intention is that this stone will help you to clear deep-seated grief and sadness, allowing your heart to open and heal. It’s a powerful stone for connecting with the energies of the earth, trees, stars and the moon. It promotes intuition, imagination and story-telling ability.

The second stone is the Connection Stone, and this one is a Ruby in Fuchsite. Connection stones connect us to Universal energy, as well as to Angels, Guides, Ancestors and our own wise soul energy.

This stone feels like a magical garden or a lake full of waterlillies. Just holding it is reassuring and it quickly centers you into your heart.

My intention in my meditation with this stone is that it provides a restful energy in your life that promotes emotional contentment, inner peace and heart connection. It’s a stone for love, happiness and knowing what you want in the world.

Isn’t it lovely!

When you hold these stones in your own meditation it will help to take you to a happy place – one that is restful, restorative and that will help you connect into personal clarity and inner harmony and peace.

We all need more time in our happy place, and these meditation stones will take you there!

What’s your happy place? Is it a real place, or a place you go to in your head? Do you have more than one? What happens to you when you are in that place? Let us know for a chance to win these stones!

Instructions on how to win these stones:

Do one of any of the following;

  1. Write a comment on this post telling us what your happy place is
  2. Post a comment on our facebook page, telling us what your happy place is or posting an image of that place
  3. Post a comment or image about your happy place on your facebook page and tag us in (use @cauldronsandcupcakes and @nicolecody)
  4. Post a picture on Instagram with the hashtag #CandChappyplace
  5. Send us an email to chelsi@cauldronsandcupcakes.com telling us about your happy place

This competition closes on September 30th at 8 pm Brisbane time, and I’ll announce the winner on October 3.

I’ll be giving away a set of stones every month between now and December, so there are plenty of chances for you to win.

Biggest love and hugs to all of you, Nicole   xoxo

We’re On Retreat!

“God is all that exists. Every stone, flower, tree, animal and human being are on a spiritual journey to recognize their true self, their divine essence.”
~  Swami Dhyan Giten

Today we move into our week-long meditation retreat.

It’s a time to go within. A time of discovery, connection and revelation.

A gift to ourselves of peace and spaciousness –  a gift of solitude and reflection in our otherwise busy lives.

Next week I’ll share some simple activities you can do at home to make the most of these energies that are so supportive of us as we journey within. And I’ll hold you all in meditation as I work with this group, including you in our soul work.

Sending much love your way,

Nicole  xoxo

Love and Devotion Look Like This

“Rather than remain a sealed jar, she sought only to pour herself out to others. Everything she did mirrored her faith. It was as though every waking hour of the day she was devoted to pleasing her God by serving others. This God that she worshiped consumed her. It didn’t ask for a brief visit to a temple, or a small votive offering of food or coin, or a few prayers every now and then. This God wanted all of her.”
~  Francine Rivers

I don’t prepare for retreats the way that many other people do.

My priorities are different.

I am not thinking about funnels, or marketing, or what my hook is. I’m not calculating break-evens or what to sell you next.

No.

I am thinking about your soul. I am creating and holding space for you. I am placing you on a mala that I make with my own hands – choosing a bead for you, on which I will pray and meditate twice a day. I am choosing and preparing crystals for you, cleansing them and channelling their purpose and energies. I walk our rural property, creating grids of stones among the trees, or choosing stones from previous grids, some of them from years ago, but whose energies are important for the work we will do together. I am ensuring that your tools will best support you and your growth. I am honouring your spiritual journey. I am preparing the materials. I am crafting your experience. I am devoting myself to the journey, and to taking you with me to a place of transformation.

There are endless hours spent in this crafting, before we even come together. During our retreat I am yours. I pour myself entirely into the process. And I continue to do so once our event is over and you are navigating your way back into the wider world again. It is an honour and a great responsibility to be entrusted with your care.

Long after we part I will still be praying and meditating for you, sending you energy, wishing you well, night-flying to visit you and keep company a while.

I can’t do it any other way. I must give my whole self to this.

This is what it is to follow your heart, to follow a calling, to live with devotion.

I’m so grateful for this life,

Nicole  xoxo

My Kind of Happiness – Mystical Crystals

“Live what you love and what you love will fill your life.”
~  Jodi Livon

Many years ago when I lived in the Kimberley – that wild outback corner of remote Western Australia – my Aboriginal Aunties showed me how to make stones sing, and how to infuse them with the energies of plants and places.

I’ve put that knowledge to good use this past few months as I have prepared crystals for my final two retreats of the year.

Yesterday I walked our farm here in Byron Bay, digging up crystals that have sat beneath trees and significant plants as the sun and moon have transitted overhead for many months. The crystals are all natural beauties, and now they hold qualities beyond their original energies – just like my students will soon, when we have finished our retreat together.

Today’s task is to write in each journal I will gift my students, adding a photograph of the plant under which their stones have come into their additional qualities, and an explanation of what those energies are.

It’s a labour of love that will take many hours, but I have ample tea and my little farmhouse has been transformed into a workstation for stones and books and bags and other gifts and tools we shall use together on this next retreat, which begins on Saturday.

There are many other things in store for my participants, but I shan’t disclose them here because I don’t want to ruin the surprises! This retreat is my Temple of Light – a shamanic guided meditation retreat, and one of my favourite and most transformative meditation techniques ever.

Our final retreat will be in Byron Bay, Australia, from Saturday 25 November to Friday 1 December – a delicious week of Working With Crystals, where I’ll be teaching you how to connect, heal, create, infuse, grid, program, meditate and make magic with crystals. This is the first time I will have shared most of this information. I’ll be teaching the sorts of things you can’t learn from books, the sorts of things that have been passed to me by other Elders, and of course my Aunties. It’s a very Soul Sanctuary affair, this final retreat of the year, full of learning but also of rest and rejuvenation energies. So there will also be time for beach swims and little adventures in Byron Bay and some pool time in our bright summer sun. And yes, it’s suitable for total beginners as well as advanced practitioners.

Perhaps you’d like to join us? If so, please email my wonderful PA, Dana, at nicolecodyinfo@gmail.com

We’re in the final madness that is retreat prep right now, so Dana won’t be able to send you information until early next week, but we know this final retreat for 2017 – like all my retreats – will fill up very fast, and we will send information to our list in the order we have received it – ie first come, first served.

Meanwhile, I must get back to my stones and journal work.

Sending love and blessings to you all, Nicole  xx
