There is child in all of us that refuses to grow up, a child that is in awe of what can be, the polar opposite of the cynic in all of us who despairs over what is. Stories of magic, fantastic monsters, impossible courage and spectacular heroism appeal to this child, instilling it with hope and faith in humanity and in the cosmic order.

Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the Wisdom Of The Oracle cards by Colette Baron-Reid for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 8 – THE TRIBE. It encourages us to nurture, support and embrace our Inner Child, and to give them room for self-expression.

THE TRIBE encourages us to tune in to the needs of our Inner Child, who is always present in our lives, but who often gets overlooked as we turn to the serious world of grown-ups.
This week supports seeking joy, mucking about with friends, hanging with your ‘gang’ – whoever that is for you, and doing your very best to enjoy yourself.
It’s also a week for losing yourself in arts, craft, music, outdoor hikes or a mesmerising story.
No matter how old you are, your wise Inner Child lives on inside you, and they are always there to guide you back to the joy of living.
I know, these are strange and unusual times. Hard times. And in hard times, what often gets us through is laughter, shared moments and finding joy in the small moments.
I have been at a deathbed many times, and witnessed family who are devastated to be losing a loved one crying tears of laughter over a shared story, or a happy remembering.
I have seen children in absolute poverty making complex and engaging games with sticks and leaves and their imaginations, howling with laughter, faces beaming, totally absorbed in the moment.
I have been transfixed by the sight of sunlight on spider webs, by the smell of autumn bonfires, by the joy of fresh baked bread, or the urgent need to dance when a favourite song comes on the radio.
All of these things are available to us when we get out of our heads and back into our hearts.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead: If you’re a creative soul you’ll find the ideas literally pouring into your brain and body this week, and you’ll feel itchy for some kind of outlet for the expression of all of this energy. Make sure you take the time to capture those ideas in a recording or on paper. Then make a start, no matter how small. It could end up being a life-changing project for you. For some of you, THE TRIBE is also bringing your attention back to your Calling this week. Life is too short to keep postponing your dreams. Let the time for living your dream start now!
Super stuck with moving forward on your Calling? Maybe you need a session with me to bring some extra clarity and direction. Details here
Crystals to support you this week – Smoky Quartz, Citrine, Petrified Wood, Pyrite, Fluorite

This week we are working with our Publishers on getting the 2022 Planner to press. Around that I am unpacking more boxes of books and crystals for my writing room, sorting through old files, and finding homes for all of my cookbooks, (Hello, enormous linen cupboard just off the kitchen – you’ll be perfect!), and doing some client sessions.
I’m also turning up daily for our free 30 Day Planner Challenge (seriously, if you wanted to join us it’s not too late!), and I’ll end the week with a channelled webinar for our Inner Circle members.
It’s a week of productivity, with lots of spaces for self-care, writing and a good touch of procrasti-baking. I’m wanting to experiment with canned pears, because I just discovered an entire catering-size carton of them. If you’ve got any good recipes, feel free to share them!
Love, stripy toe socks and boxes full of rocks, Nicole xx
Laughter bubbles up and lightness overtakes me.
“Little girl”giggles and says,” I’m having fun.
Come on.You need to let me out of your shell.
Play with me more often.”
And laughter bubbled up again.
