Spirited and Wild – Monday Oracle 1 April 2024

Practice listening to your intuition, your inner voice; ask questions; be curious; see what you see; hear what you hear; and then act upon what you know to be true.

These intuitive powers were given to your soul at birth.
― Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run With the Wolves

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using The Sacred She Oracle by Ma Deva Padma for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 13. SPONTANEITY

2024 is a year for fresh starts, for creativity, healing and social connection. It’s a year for ambitious projects and for getting stuff done.

April is a month for giving your dreams power, for heightened intuition and messages from the Universe. It’s a time for finding your own answers and speaking your truth.

13. SPONTANEITY

At the heart of who you are, some part of you is wild. There is a part of you that remembers your innate spirituality, your connection to nature and all things, your divinity and your humanity.

There is a part of you that remains free, that is resolutely untamed and unbroken, and that houses a spark of originality, creativity, innovation and love.

This week you are supported to connect with this aspect of yourself, and to honour your intuition and inner wisdom. Embrace your own spiritual practices without conceit or self-consciousness. Drum, dance, sing, paint, make offerings, whisper your magic into the world, take time for yourself and your own path. Protect yourself, your inner flame, and your beautiful wild ideas from anyone who would seek to tear you down or make you conform to a more limited expression of yourself.

It’s a fertile and creative week – so expect ideas, revelations, opportunities and gifts of all kinds. It’s a week where Lightworkers, Healers, Artists, Wise Elders, Creators, Innovators and Dreamers are supported to step further into the Light – sharing their gifts and visions. Let the Universe and your own wise spirit guide you forward now.

Feel like you’ve lost your dream, or that you never had one to begin with?

Know that this isn’t true. Our hearts never stop knowing. If you can’t find your dream please understand that it will be buried under pain, or exhaustion, or burnout, or self-loathing, or the criticism of others. It will have been covered over by the judgement or ridicule of people who have held authority in your life before now.

Despite all the negativity and well-meaning but incorrect advice that is heaped upon them, despite our own negative self-talk or the put-downs of others, our hearts hold onto their own wild and beautiful truth.

Inside, our dreams continue to burn. Ideas flicker, waiting for a breeze to fan the flame. Our long-neglected interests and hobbies need only a ray of sunshine and a little fresh air to spring back into being.

This week those dreams and longings begin to come back into focus. A little more of ourselves is restored. Our courage grows.

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:

When we give ourselves permission to follow a trail of breadcrumbs that can become a new direction, when we commit to our dreams and do what makes us happy, when we make space for what we passionately believe in, all kinds of magic flows into our lives. This week take steps to follow that trail, to do that thing, and then?  Trust in magic!

I hope you’ve found a little time for yourself over this Easter break.  🙏💕

I’ve had a busy few days running round after family, and getting caught up on a backlog of work stuff, but later today I’m going to sit in our library room and hammer out a synopsis for the book draft I finished writing late last year. That’s something dear to my heart, and I need to get it finished for my editor so that I can send it off tonight. (Nothing like leaving things til the last minute.) It’s a bit nerve wracking, because I still have a few plot holes to fill, but I’m hoping a day of focus will help me get them ironed out. That’s the plan, anyway.

Here at the treehouse we’ve had a week of solid rain so the construction of our new crystal-inlaid front steps has been held up until the weather improves. Of course we’ve mostly had sun over the Easter weekend but it’s predicted to be stormy and wet in the week ahead. That’s okay. It will get done when it gets done, and at least I got my washing up to date these past few days!

In other news the dodgy mole on my neck WASN’T a melanoma, so hooray for that, but I still haven’t received my muscle biopsy results back. I’m practicing patience, but I’ll be honest – I have my fingers crossed that I hear something back this week. It will be good to finally know what’s going on so I can create plan number 732 for better health. Honestly, I’ve tried so many things and had so many plans re my health, and then I need to change the plan because i get an updated diagnosis, or I change doctors, or I find some new thing worth trying, or the thing I tried didn’t work. It might seem crazy to always be problem-solving my chronic poor health, but what’s the alternative? That’s me – always optimistic. No point on letting life get you down too long.

Okay, I’m off to brew a pot of tea, do my cards and Journeymaker’s Planner for April, and get the last of my work chores done while the world (and our household) is quiet, and then a day of word wrangling for me, followed by a little playtime with new paints and gellyroll pens sent to me by a dear friend who totally supports my art supplies and stationery addiction.

Hugs, love, index cards and an excellent Japanese 0.38mm pen selection, Nicole xx
