Go wide, explore and learn new things. Something will surely have a kick for you.
I got a package in the post yesterday from a lovely friend. We don’t see each other often, so sometimes we drop each other a care parcel in the mail. One of the items was a small bag of Sour Vikings to help with my writing. Vikings, you say? That’s kind of a private joke between us (although I know some of you will also get it, and his name starts with R…).
These candies, or lollies as we call them in Australia, are soft sweet-and-sour gummy candies in the shape of Viking heads.
And here’s the thing…
I had NEVER eaten a sour candy before.
So, I wasn’t sure what to expect.
But now I get it.
So not sour.
I found a new taste sensation, and I loved it.
I also love that I was today years old when I realised that sour candies are a thing.
Has that happened to you recently? That you’ve found something new that is old news for everyone else?
I’d love to hear! Let me know in the comments.
Hugs, and that weird face you pull when you suck on a sour candy before it goes sweet, Nicole xx

When you say the letter R I’m hoping you’re referring to Ragnar Lothbrok. 🥵
I do not like sour lollies, just saying……………..
