I was Today Years Old when…

Hey, Lovelies.

I got a package in the post yesterday from a lovely friend. We don’t see each other often, so sometimes we drop each other a care parcel in the mail. One of the items was a small bag of Sour Vikings to help with my writing. Vikings, you say? That’s kind of a private joke between us (although I know some of you will also get it, and his name starts with R…).

These candies, or lollies as we call them in Australia, are soft sweet-and-sour gummy candies in the shape of Viking heads.

And here’s the thing…

I had NEVER eaten a sour candy before.

So, I wasn’t sure what to expect.

But now I get it.

So sour.

So not sour.

I found a new taste sensation, and I loved it.

I also love that I was today years old when I realised that sour candies are a thing.
