This Quarter I am using the Sacred Destiny Oracle by Denise Linn for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is FULFILLMENT.
2024 is a year for fresh starts, for creativity, healing and social connection. It’s a year for ambitious projects and for getting stuff done.
August is a month for celebration and connection. Make sure to spend time enjoying life, and all your life has to offer. It’s a great month for socialising, romance, building connections and networking, and for creative projects and actions that help build a positive future.
FULFILLMENT
This week’s energy is all about timing. It reminds us that sometimes the thing we were invested in failed because the timing wasn’t right. Maybe you weren’t ready. Maybe your idea was only half-baked and needed time to mature and develop into something other than what you were ready to launch. Sometimes you’ve had the right idea, or been in the right place, but it just wasn’t the right time.
When we get the timing wrong it can make us doubt ourselves, and then we walk away from what could have been a very good thing.
Which brings me back to the energies of the week ahead.
That thing you never got started, or that never took off, or that has been rattling around in your brain but that has never been expressed? Or that you shared with a trusted person and they laughed or shot it down in flames, or told you to stick to your day job?
This week FULFILLMENT advises you to take it out, dust it off, and look over it one more time.
You’ve changed. The market has changed. The world has changed.
So much has changed.
And somewhere, in that idea of yours, is something that can work this time around. Maybe you still need to work on it. Maybe you need a mentor, or some guidance. If so, factor that in, but begin. Then again, maybe, you’re just ready now, in a way that you weren’t before.
It’s time. Go look through your ideas file, through the actions and choices and decisions you’ve had on hold, and look for the one whose timing is now.
You’ll be glad you did.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead
Don’t wait for perfection, or you’ll never start. Be prepared to look at where you are holding yourself back. Waiting for the ‘timing to be right’ in a situation where there will never be perfect timing is the worst kind of procrastination and self-sabotage, and can lead to a lifetime of regret – so look at where you just need to jump in, commit, and keep going! Your job is to be happy, to follow your heart, to live with gratitude and compassion, and to be open to opportunities and miracles. You’re not in this alone, so stop acting like it and start trusting!

Oh my goodness, it has been a BIG couple of days.
They say that a few times in your life, if you’re lucky, you’ll be blessed with a breakthrough or an epiphany.
It’s been that kind of a week for me.
I’m away interstate right now, in the afterglow of a writing conference.
I came to that conference with such fixed ideas about why I was there, what I wanted, and where I was going.
You know the Universe had a good laugh at me over that…
Little by little all of that fixed thinking started to come loose, and then yesterday morning as I sat surrounded by friends and gorgeous new people at an LGBTQIA+ and Allies writers’ breakfast that big ol’ epiphany came and hit me square between the eyes.
Self-awareness carried me through a pitching session (unsuccessful but SO SUCCESSFUL) where I became steadfastly certain of my new direction and came out feeling exhilarated that I finally had clarity and confidence.
Soon that feeling settled into a quiet calm and contentment. I’d come home to myself. I knew what I wanted, and where to go. I can’t even begin to explain the peace that has brought my soul.
Trust that this week can deliver that kind of certainty for you too. Struggling for direction, or with making a decision? You’re ripe and ready for an epiphany of your own, and I’m holding space for that in your life.
