A Harry Dog Update

Scars are not injuries, Tanner Sack. A scar is a healing. After injury, a scar is what makes you whole.

Hey, Lovelies!

Thank you so much for all of the kind messages about Harry Dog.

His surgery went well, and he is home, resting.

All he wants is cuddles, and to be right next to Ben at all times. Ben is even sleeping beside him on the floor because it is the only way Harry will settle.

But it was big surgery – and Harry has shown no interest in food or water yet, so if he is no brighter this morning we’ve been advised to take him back to the vet. Fingers crossed that he has a little appetite at puppy-dog breakfast time! We have an assortment of his favourite foods, ready to tempt him. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

I’ll update you further when we have more news,

Lots of love, a slightly worried Mumma (but isn’t that what mothers do?), Nicole xx

PS – No, the top pic is not Harry post-surgery. He is half-shaved and in a cone of shame now, and refuses to let me near him with my phone! I understand totally. You need your privacy when you don’t feel your best.

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

    Bxx😘💞

  3. Sending puppy dog wishes that Harry was just feeling lousy from the anaesthetic yesterday
and crossing fingers and claws he feels a bit brighter and more like himself this morning
Try Harry Dog with BBQ chicken from the Chicken Shop because it has an irresistible aroma
When Millie had her cruciate ligament repair the Vet took her home the first night but she did not eat
The next day when Bob and I picked Millie up and took her home all she wanted to eat was BBQ chicken which like any doting doggy ‘Dad’ Bob fed her a little at a time
    Be well Harry Dog
