One Space Has Opened Up On My Shamanic Meditation Retreat. Is it yours?

My August Temple of Light Shamanic Meditation Retreat has been booked out for months. And it’s the last one I am going to run at this venue and in this format.

Now a vacancy has suddenly opened due to a participant needing to cancel to be able to support a loved one through unexpected surgery.

Sometimes Meditation Trumps Blogging

Good Morning! (or hello for whatever timezone you are in!)

I’m a little late blogging today. But I have good reason.

Right now I’m holding space for many of you in my meditations, and some of you have needed extra time, care and attention. So my usual meditations have been taking me longer than normal. Which is fine by me. It’s something I love to do and am honoured to do.

If you’ve already been asked to be included in my meditations I have you! It’s not too late to join me though, if you still want to be included. Just leave me a comment below this post.

Please don’t hesitate to ask. I have room for all of you. There is space and time for all of you.

This is what I’m working on:

Until June 9 I am focusing on supporting you to move through and begin to resolve feelings of loss, fear, anxiety, overwhelm, emotional isolation and powerlessness. My aim is to find the places where emotion has become stuck inside you, causing you to become out of alignment. I am also looking for the old stories, traumas and memories which are subconsciously shaping you in opposition to your soul’s true nature. In my meditations I will dissolve these outmoded energies and stories, returning them to love and releasing their patterns from your energetic field.

As your energy comes back into alignment with your true nature, your vibration will rise and you will be more easily able to express yourself creatively and emotionally. It will increase your sense of self-awareness and self-trust.

I meditate twice a day, morning and evening. I also connect with some people during my night-flying practices. If you’d like me to include you or a loved one specifically in my meditations just let me know in the comments below.  And, of course, I love getting feedback about anything you notice as a result of my meditations.

This next week has enormous energy for intuition, all kinds of psychic work and for vibrational shift. Why not spend some time in meditation and connection yourself? I promise it’s a kindness that your body, mind and spirit will thank you for.

Energies of June 2019

Hello, Lovelies!

At the beginning of every month, I discuss the energies and gifts of the month ahead and how we can best use them to make our lives satisfying, meaningful and productive. I also choose a card to support the energies of the month. The deck I am using this year is The Good Tarot by Colette Baron-Reid, and June’s card is 8 of Fire.

June brings energies of growth and transformation. 

This month you can build on existing situations, foundations and opportunities, further transforming your life through work and self-belief. You’ll start to see results, and your progress will become visible to others too.

The power of teamwork and of focus can’t be overestimated this month. There are so many choices in front of you now, and you may feel like there are too many choices and that everything is moving past you too fast. 

If you feel like that, look for some quiet time amid the bustle and haste. Use nature and meditation to bring you back to calm. Choose just a few things on which to focus. 

Let the rest go for now, or delegate it to someone else. And get a team together – people who can help and support you. You’ll go so much further together than trying to get it all done on your own.

June puts an emphasis on your health, healing and wellbeing. Don’t let your health slide at the expense of your dreams and goals. Look at ways to work sustainably and get help wherever you can.

Make sure to get a health check, and to keep on top of all of the habits and choices that let you live your best life.

Leave a little time for celebration this month too. Don’t let everything be everyday ordinary. 

You don’t need a reason to celebrate – being alive is enough! 

Surround yourself with people who support and uplift you. 

Do things that make you feel alive. Celebrate others too. Share the joy around.

Fill your life with colour, love and passion. Trust in the journey and believe in good outcomes.

Meditation is the cornerstone of my life. It is the first thing I do when I wake up each morning. It is the last thing I do before I go to bed.

I don’t just meditate to find stillness and peace. I also use meditation for shamanic and mystical work. I use it to connect with and help my students, I use it to access healing, and to share and support energies.

Free Guided Meditation for the January 2019 Supermoon Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse

The Supermoon Blood Moon Full-Moon Total Lunar Eclipse is almost upon us. It will happen on January 20/21, and it brings with it great energies of shift and transformation.

This eclipse is the ‘Night of the Luminous Soul’.

It gifts us the capacity to become calm warriors in our families and communities. A calm warrior is brave and strong and does not need aggression or violence in order to fight for their cause. A calm warrior acts with inner strength, wisdom, courage and intelligence. A calm warrior lives with peace in their heart. They act from love.

The eclipse heralds energies of courage, clarity, determination, resilience, patience and empathy. We realise that we are not our struggle. We can sit in compassion for our current selves, rise above our pain and confusion and begin to align ourselves with solutions and actions that will change the face and future of our world, starting right now. It is a time for revelations and breakthroughs, for divine inspiration and conscious creativity. It is a time for clarity and renewal.

Guided Meditation

To help you work with the energies of this Lunar Eclipse I’ve recorded a free Guided Meditation for you. You can sit or lie down to do this meditation. Please choose a crystal or stone to hold in your cupped hands as you listen. You’ll need to set aside twenty minutes for the meditation, and some time afterwards for integration and journalling. It’s also fine to fall asleep while listening to the meditation. To enhance the meditation you may also like to diffuse or anoint yourself with some Jasmine, Neroli or Ylang Ylang essential oil.

You can work with this meditation any time between 18 January and 5 February 2019, when the New moon closes off the energies of the current eclipse.

Here are some simple activities you can do in the next few days to enhance your intuitive connection and psychic ability and to clarify your life direction:

Reflections from the Guided Meditation

Take some time to write down any insights or clarity you received during your meditation. It’s fine to do this meditation more than once, and to add to this journalling exercise over time.

Who Am I?

This activity opens you to your own soul wisdom as well as Universal wisdom. It can help to show you who you are now, and who you have the potential of becoming. Don’t judge anything that comes to you. Write it all down!

Directions: Sit comfortably with your hands in the Anjali Mudra (prayer position) so that your hands are in front of your heart and your eyes are gazing straight ahead. You can close your eyes if you want. (Note: If you also want to work with a crystal for this meditation hold the stone in your cupped hands first, energise it with light, the place it on your lap or on the ground in front of you or under your chair – then sit in the prayer position) Breathe deeply, relax your body and then ask Who Am I? Wait for any words, images or impressions to appear. Then open your eyes and begin to answer this question in your journal. You might want to do this a few times in the next few days, as each time you do this you will be able to go deeper and into more detail.

Using Cards for Clarification:

Choose an oracle or tarot deck that is meaningful to you. Shuffle the cards and then choose three, placing them face down in front of you. Once again sit in Anjali Mudra (prayer position), calm your mind and ask Who am I? When you are ready open your eyes and begin to work with the cards.

Turn over the first card – This shows you who you have been, in the past for this current life, or perhaps even from previous lives. Write down what comes to you in your journal.

Turn over the second card – This shows you who you are right now, including strengths and limitations. Write down what comes to you in your journal.

Turn over the third card – This shows you who you can become, or what you can rise above for this current life. Write down what comes to you in your journal.

Reflection Exercise for Life Clarity: Leave the journal for a while. An hour perhaps, or longer. Whatever feels right to you. Then come back and read what you have written. Look for the words that resonate, and for anything that provides inspiration or direction.

Now write again, this time listing your intentions for this lifetime. Who do you want to be? What do you want to contribute, create, have or experience? How will you do this? Trust that whatever is in your heart is possible!

Guided Meditation to Heal Heartache

The energies of this week are all about forgiveness and opening our hearts, and throughout December they support joyful connection, gratitude and time spent on important relationships.

But what do you do when your heart is hurting? When you want to open up your heart but it’s bruised and battered and your faith in love and life is in tatters? Or when your heart is grieving the loss of loved ones, or time past?

I have a little guided meditation that might help. It’s one I recorded a while ago, but it’s perfect for the energies right now. It takes sixteen minutes, but I would suggest allowing extra time at the end for you to integrate the energy of the meditation.

All you need to do is find a spot to sit or lie quietly, and then follow along to the sound of my voice.  Feel free to hold a crystal of your choice if that feels right for you.

October Stones – A New Competition For You

Hello Lovelies

Every day in October I am meditating with these two stones – stones that feel comfortable as I hold them in my hands, stones which are being infused with the energy of my love, intentions and meditations. At the end of October, I shall give them away to a reader, along with a personalised guided meditation made just for the winner.

Let me introduce you to these two stones. The first stone is basalt with seams of milk quartz and it holds the energies of the ocean and the earth. It is an anchoring stone, and it comes from Belongil Beach in Byron Bay, which is a place of great healing and transformation.

The energies and intention infused into the Byron Bay Beach Rock are that the holder comes to know a true sense of creative direction and that inspiration and imagination become gifts to lift you out of stuckness and back into flow.

This beach stone is the Anchoring Stone, which helps us to stay grounded, clear and calm, connecting into our bodies, and to the earth and nature. It’s a nurturing and comforting stone, and holding it brings me to a state of profound inner quiet.

 

The second is a Lemurian Singing Quartz, from the wilds of Tasmania. It’s a very strong energy stone with deep ridges along its sides that can be stroked during meditation. This activates the stone just the way you’d open a filing cabinet to access the files inside. Holding this stone makes me feel hopeful, positive and alive! The Quartz is the Connection Stone, enabling us to connect into our intuition, Higher Self, Guides, Ancestors and the Divine. My intention is that this Singing Quartz helps you to hear your inner voice and to access your creative gifts. It supports imagination, clear vision and passion for life.

Used together in meditation these stones will help you to find your inner creative energy, and remove blocks to self-expression and flow of ideas and art.

Every day in September I am meditating with these two stones.

The stones are intended to be held, one in each hand, as you sit in meditation. I’ll be giving these stones away, as well as recording a personalised guided meditation for the winner!

 As I hold these stones in my hand each day for the month of September I meditate with the intent that they will hold energies in a way that can be transferred to the user.

The first stone is Morion, from the wild West Coast of Tasmania. It is this month’s Anchoring Stone and its energies help us to stay grounded, clear and calm, connecting into our bodies, and to the earth and nature.

Morion is a very dark form of Smoky Quartz – the crystal is so dark that it is almost black. It helps us to feel safe in ourselves, safe in our bodies, emotionally stable and deeply grounded. It pulls our scattered energy back to us, helping us to become strong and clear.

My intention is that this stone will help you to clear deep-seated grief and sadness, allowing your heart to open and heal. It’s a powerful stone for connecting with the energies of the earth, trees, stars and the moon. It promotes intuition, imagination and story-telling ability.

 

The second stone is the Connection Stone, and this one is a Ruby in Fuchsite. Connection stones connect us to Universal energy, as well as to Angels, Guides, Ancestors and our own wise soul energy.

This stone feels like a magical garden or a lake full of waterlillies. Just holding it is reassuring and it quickly centers you into your heart.

My intention in my meditation with this stone is that it provides a restful energy in your life that promotes emotional contentment, inner peace and heart connection. It’s a stone for love, happiness and knowing what you want in the world.

Isn’t it lovely!

When you hold these stones in your own meditation it will help to take you to a happy place – one that is restful, restorative and that will help you connect into personal clarity and inner harmony and peace.

We all need more time in our happy place, and these meditation stones will take you there!
