Learning To Honour Yourself First – Monday Oracle 19 July 2021

You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don’t know it, all of that doesn’t even matter. Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself; is a second of your life wasted, is a moment of your life thrown away. It’s not like you have forever, so don’t waste any of your seconds, don’t throw even one of your moments away.

C. JoyBell C.

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using the Wisdom Of The Oracle cards by Colette Baron-Reid for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 12 – A CHANGE IN THE WIND. This week you’ll find that things that are out of integrity with your own values and beliefs will begin to fall away.

A CHANGE IN THE WIND reminds us that everything has a reason or a season.

Who we were last month, last year, last decade is not necessarily who we are today. It’s okay to change, and in fact, it’s normal. Change and growth is part of life.

So, don’t try to hang on tight to the things in your life that no longer work, or that no longer represent who you are, or who you are moving to become. This might mean that long-held dreams may shatter, that old promises can no longer be kept, that you may need to make BIG decisions which could quite possibly upend your life.

It’s also a week where you may suddenly look at a situation or a relationship and realise that things have changed. Or you have changed. And you’ll need to factor that in to your next steps.

That’s okay. It’s time to honour yourself first, above everyone else’s needs, demands, success or happiness.

A CHANGE IN THE WIND might feel unsteadying to start with, but in the end it will be gloriously liberating. Viva la change!

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:  Be honest with yourself. Don’t look through rose-coloured glasses. Hear things the way they are truly being said. See the truth in situations. Stop making excuses or validating the behaviour of others (or your own). Pay attention to all of those red flags you’ve been ignoring or explaining away.

Need help with major decisions? Maybe you need a session with me to bring some extra clarity and direction. Details here

Crystals to support you this week – Smoky Quartz, Amethyst, Black Tourmaline, Garnet, Turquoise.

Oh my goodness, lovelies!

Here at the Treehouse it has been a crazy week of big decisions, and honouring my entreprenurial instincts in the creation of a whole bunch of new products and projects. None of this was expected, but based on our team weekly team meeting we decided to back ourselves and take action. Crazy! But good too.

This week will see us still burning the midnight oil a little to get these crazy schemes into final production. After which we will celebrate and then sleep for days!

I’m also turning up daily for our free 30 Day Planner Challenge (if you wanted to join us it’s still possible!), and I’m getting ready to receive a huge shipment of crystals from my friend Dan who has been travelling the world sourcing stones for me.

Dan and I met at university. He is the kind of guy who packs a rucksack, buys a ticket to some obscure destination and then starts walking. He is that old-fashioned kind of off-the-beaten-track traveller who almost seems to exist in a parallel dimension, so different is his life to most people I know. He’ll travel by mule train, bus, jeep, cargo boat, ferry, motorbike or river raft. He goes deep into countries most people fear to travel. He looks like a bearded nomad and is burned bronze, lean-limbed and able to communicate in several languages and dialects.

Dan and I came to a happy agreement some years ago. He loves to look for treasure, and in his distant past he was a geologist. For a crystal-loving girl like me Dan is a dream come true! Our relationship is this: I give him a wad of cash, he goes off on his adventures, I hear little or nothing from him and then three months or six months or a year later he comes home again or calls me from a payphone or an internet café in some obscure place and he has swapped my money for rocks, minus a little he’s used for living expenses.

Dan’s not bringing my rocks home himself, because he can’t get a flight and COVID has made travel to places like Australia much harder. But he’ll make sure the rocks get to me by sea or air. And I’ve just topped up his account so he can keep exploring and finding more treasures. Can’t wait to see what he found me!
Love, pots of tea and fresh baked bread, and massive anticipation for my latest rock haul, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. Oooh! More crystals.
Your friend Dan sounds like a very simple gentle man who derives his pleasure in life by being local, wherever that may be.
I would love to sit and listen to some of the many tales he could tell. He sounds fascinating.

    1. Dan is an incredible human, and I am blessed to have him as a friend. He’s not a big talker though, so you may find that sitting in his company is a very quiet and peaceful experience. It takes time to draw those tales out of him!
