“ Freedom is nothing else but a chance to be better” ~ Albert Camus
April calls you to live from your heartspace. This month lifts you above your obstacles, or helps you to blaze a trail through them. Expect magical insights and guidance to help light the path ahead. It’s time to believe in yourself and your dreams even if no-one else yet believes. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the card Freedom brings us.
Freedom holds the energy of dualities. It helps you to understand that for every choice you make there is a choice you need to let go. For every action you take there is another action that cannot be taken. This is also known as an ‘opportunity cost’ – when you choose one thing you miss out on something else. True freedom is about understanding what freedom means to you and being comfortable with the price you are paying for that freedom.
This is not about sitting in a space of thinking that freedom is millions of dollars in the bank. This about asking: “What’s the most important freedom to me? Is it emotional freedom? Is it religious freedom? Is it social freedom? Is it having time freedom or money freedom? Is it being in relationships that are supportive rather than ones that suppress me? Is it working in a workspace where I am acknowledged and supported rather than a workspace that is regimented and impersonal?”
This week spend some time determining what’s important to you and what freedom means to you. Freedom reminds you that part of the act of personal freedom always involves compromise. Where are you prepared to compromise in one area of your life in order to have freedom in another?
Freedom shows you that bravery is needed when you begin to craft a conscious life for yourself. Sometimes you need to step away from relationships, jobs, situations or comforting but self-defeating habits in order to create the change that will bring the freedom you seek.
You may also find that some doors close for you this week. See this as a positive thing, no matter how difficult it might feel in the moment. In the aftermath of every ending is the seed of a new beginning.
Supportive crystals this week?
Malachite is a stone to help you overcome perceived limitations. It is a stone of manifestation and abundance that gifts focus and resilience. Amethyst helps you to tune in to all forms of spiritual guidance and to make wise decisions. Snowflake Obsidian is a wonderful stone for any form of pattern-breaking, helping you to invite or invoke change. Rhodonite (pictured) is great for supporting you to follow your heart.
Helpful essential oils?
Rose Essential Oil is my choice this week. This sweet and uplifting oil inspires deep emotional connection and opens your heart chakra to love and to hearing and expressing your innermost truths. It enhances your mood, helps to balance hormones, brings emotional healing and draws joy and peace into your life. Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using Rose or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)
If you can’t access a pure Rose essential oil, try Ylang-Ylang, Geranium or Magnolia.
I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Find some time for reflection, planning and self-evaluation this week. And no matter what you do, be true
Lots of love, Nicole ❤ xx
PS: Monday’s oracle card, ‘Freedom‘ , is from the Sacred Power Reading Cards by Anna Stark . I use any cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book.
