So Much Excitement ‘Cos… NEW CRYSTALS ARE COMING!!!

“I’m an adventurer, looking for treasure,” he said to himself.”
Paulo Coelho

I have a friend who is an adventurer. Dan is his name, and we met at university a long, long time ago. Dan is the kind of guy who packs a rucksack, buys a ticket to some obscure destination and then starts walking. He is that old-fashioned kind of off-the-beaten-track traveller who almost seems to exist in a parallel dimension, so different is his life to most people I know. He’ll travel by mule train, bus, jeep, cargo boat, ferry, motorbike or river raft. He goes deep into countries most people fear to travel. He looks like a bearded nomad and is burned bronze, lean-limbed and able to communicate in several languages and dialects.

Dan and I came to a happy agreement some years ago. He loves to look for treasure, and in his distant past he was a geologist. For a crystal-loving girl like me Dan is a dream come true! Our relationship is this: I give him a wad of cash, he goes off on his adventures, I hear little or nothing from him and then three months or six months or a year later he comes home again and he has swapped my money for rocks, minus a little he’s used for living expenses.

Dan’s been gone since November last year, but I’m catching up with him on Saturday to collect his latest haul of crystals for me. I can’t wait to see what treasures he’s unearthed, and they come just in time for my Brisbane pop-up shop at the end of the month (details here).

I feel like a kid at Christmas, staying up to wait for Santa!

I promise I’ll post pics when we’ve unwrapped all the goodies he has for us.

Much love, Nicole ❤ xx

A Week Of Highs, Lows & Breakthroughs – Monday Oracle 18 June 2018

“Balance. It was all about balance. That had been one of the first things that she had learned: the centre of the seesaw has neither up nor down, but upness and downness flow through it while it remains unmoved. You had to be the centre of the seesaw so the pain flowed through you, not into you. It was very hard. But she could do it!
~  Terry Pratchett

Hello, Lovelies!

June is a quieter month energetically – one that invites us to spend time with loved ones, time on ourselves and our wellbeing, and time resting, recharging and doing what we love. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Two of Crystals brings us this week.

At the beginning of this week expect some fluctuations in your mood and energy. One moment you’ll be flying high and the next you’ll feel like you need to withdraw from the world. Or you’ll be full of energy and then exhausted. Totally in love with your idea and then decide it sucks. Just flow with it, don’t fight it, and know that by later this week things will begin to settle down again.

The end of this week will see you potentially catapulted into a new phase in your life, and the key to success for you and any ventures you undertake will be co-operation.

One of the most beneficial energies that the Two of Crystals brings is the kind of helpful people and advice that propel you to achieve success in your chosen field or in solving your current dilemma. Be open to help and advice, and be prepared to consider things that might be new ideas or different to what you had planned. Get your team together. Trust that so much more can be done through co-operation and community.

The other thing Two of Crystals supports this week is anything to do with reclaiming health, fitness and overall wellness in your life. Make sure you’re getting balance between busy and quiet, between work and play, between moving your body and sitting in front of a computer or behind a desk.

It’s a week that can end in great progress forward, but remember to look after yourself, to ask for help, and to maintain balance and sustainability.

Supportive crystals this week?

Smoky Quartz opens you to new possibilities and ideas and amplifies your inner voice. Labradorite encourages self-care, supports empathy and intuition, and is a gentle and reassuring stone for developing psychic ability. Bloodstone will gift you energy, vitality and an understanding of how hard to push yourself and when to take a break.  Red Jasper (pictured) is a stone for mental, physical and emotional rejuvenation. Deeply grounding, it helps you connect to your heart and your truth and encourages a sense of safety.

Helpful essential oils?

I’m loving Sacred Frankincense or Sandalwood for balance and nurture this week. Sacred Frankincense has a rich, earthy aroma and is calming and supportive – opening you to deeper trust and spiritual connection.  Sandalwood with its distinctive woodsy sweet fragrance is the perfect oil to bring you back to a state of clarity, calm and positivity.

Apply either oil to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it in your home or office. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

You can find the oils here.

PS: Monday’s oracle card, Two of Crystals’, is from the Inner Child Cards – A Fairy-Tale Tarot. I use any cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book.

Why I Love Using Mala Beads In Meditation

“if
the ocean
can calm itself,
so can you.
we
are both
salt water
mixed with
air.”
Nayyirah Waheed

Meditation – it’s something most people know is good for us, but it’s also something that remains outside the grasp of many.

I meditate every day, twice a day, and I use a variety of techniques, but one of my favourite is to use a mala.

A mala is a string of 108 beads. They are sometimes known as prayer beads, buddha beads or rosary beads.  Maybe you wear one as jewellery – they’ve become very popular lately, and it seems that every second person has one wrapped around their wrist or hung about their neck.

When I am tired, stressed or overthinking using a mala in meditation gives my fingers something to do and occupies that busy part of my brain so that I can gently come back to a place of calm and peace. I hold each bead in my fingers one by one, and slowly travel each of the 108 beads. I might use my breath, a prayer, a mantra, a visualisation, or something more shamanic. And it transforms me. It soothes me. It heals and reconnects me.

I can’t recommend using a mala highly enough, especially if you are the type of person who usually struggles with meditation, or who has never been able to do it in a way that has been helpful for you.

I have used Mala beads in meditation now for nearly forty years. Still they teach me. Still they open new places inside me, and in my awareness and knowledge.

Even holding or wearing my Mala brings me peace.

If I am preparing to mentor students or run a retreat I will create a meditation mala specifically for my group, with each bead representing a student. I chose a different style of bead for each person, one that will be immediately recognisable to my touch. When my fingers find that bead in meditation I can tune in to my student, assess how they are going, and send them healing, energy and direction. When the course is complete I will pull the mala apart and send my students their personal bead for them to wear or as a talisman and keepsake.

My mala beads

Soon I will teach my next workshop, showing each student how to craft their own Mala. Showing their own fingers how to seek out and hold each bead. Showing them how to connect with and use their Mala for prayer, for healing, for meditation, for manifestation, for connection to self and soul and all that is.

The idea of that sharing filled my weary heart this morning, bringing me comfort and inner expansion. I finished my meditation with a deep calm and a renewed energy.

Praying the Mala is one of the most restorative practices I know, and I’m so grateful to have this in my toolkit.

If you’d like to learn how to make your own mala beads and how to use them in meditation you’re welcome to join me on Sunday, July 1 in Brisbane for my one-day Meditation and Mala Beads workshop.

I have blessed wooden and rudraksha malas, as well as an extensive range of crystal beads, pearls, ceramic beads and tassels for us to use in the workshop. You’ll be able to combine these to craft something that is deeply meaningful to you, and that will be supportive of your journey while reflecting your personal taste and energy. I’ll show you how to use them in a range of ways, and you’ll soon be able to find your own path to peace and mindfulness.

Biggest love and hugs to you, Nicole  xx

A Week For Letting Go – Monday Oracle 11 June 2018

“Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.”
Ann Landers

Hello, Lovelies!

June is a quieter month energetically – one that invites us to spend time with loved ones, time on ourselves and our wellbeing, and time resting, recharging and doing what we love. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Eight of Hearts brings us this week.

The energies this week support a gentle letting go of the things that have been weighing us down.

There doesn’t need to be a struggle or a big dramatic scene. In fact, the very best kind of letting go is one where we decide to let something go with grace and ease.

Eight of Hearts reminds us that letting go lightens us energetically. It feels good to let go of the things have burdened us. Whatever it is that is dragging you down, keeping you stuck or sad or sick, be prepared to let go this week. Decide you don’t need to keep thinking about your ex anymore. Decide to stop smoking and then do it. No need to make a big fuss. No need for big declarations or public posts about your decision. Just decide, make a plan, act.

Decide that you don’t need to keep eating food that makes you feel bloated and tired. Then stick to it today. Repeat again tomorrow. And if you mess up forgive yourself and then keep going. Decide that you’re going to sing or write or paint or dance just because you want to. Decide to clear your clutter. Decide to let go of thinking you have to do everything yourself.

Decide that you don’t need to stay in a bad relationship. Decide that you don’t need to stay in a lousy job. Decide that you don’t need another family Christmas where everyone ends up fighting. Decide to get a cleaner. Decide to get your tax done. Decide to see the doctor.

Letting go is an act of empowerment. And when we let go, and remain empty for a while, better things come and fill the void we have created, because as we lighten our energy from the letting go, things of a lower vibration will no longer be in alignment and we’ll stop attracting them. Letting go in one area often brings opportunities, miracles and advancement in another.

So this week, lighten up by letting go!

Supportive crystals this week?

Smoky Quartz keeps you grounded, gifting inner strength and the ability to
listen deeply to your own needs. Labradorite encourages self-care, supports empathy and intuition, and is a gentle and reassuring stone for developing psychic ability. Sodalite will help you express your truth in thoughts, words and actions. Garnet (pictured) will gift you courage and determination, and reconnect you to your passion.

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living has a blend called Release which is perfect for this week’s energies. It is an uplifting and nurturing blend of Ylang Ylang, Lavandin, Geranium, Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, Grapefruit, Tangerine, Spearmint, Lemon, Blue Cypress, Davana, Lime, Ocotea, Jasmine, Matricaria, Blue Tansy, and Rose. It’s an essential oil we use on our retreats to help participants let go of emotional trauma, negative thoughts and beliefs, and old energies and emotions that have become stuck. I love it. It’s like an energetic broom to sweep away the dust and cobwebs.

Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and reconnecting pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using geranium or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

If you can’t get hold of Release then use any of Rose, Jasmine, Geranium or Blue Cypress this week.

Need an extra boost of encouragement? Try Young Living’s Believe essential oil blend. It’s fabulous in your diffuser while you work, or as a quick pick-me-up with a three-minute meditation. Believe is uplifting and promotes confidence, spiritual connection, clarity and belief in ourselves. It also helps us to let go of fear, doubt and old emotional pain and hurt.  I often use this oil when I am creating, writing or journalling, or working with cards for myself.

You can find the oils here.

A Week For Self-Care! Monday Oracle 4 June 2018

““We are all butterflies. Earth is our chrysalis.”
~  LeeAnn Taylor

Hello, Lovelies!

June is a quieter month energetically – one that invites us to spend time with loved ones, time on ourselves and our wellbeing, and time resting, recharging and doing what we love. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Seven of Wands brings us.

This week we’re encouraged to make choices that support our healing and rejuvenation journey. Think extreme self-care! This isn’t just about diet and exercise, although making healthy choices and being more active is always a good idea.

For some people what will be needed most this week is early nights.

For others it might be a massage, or spending some time on personal maintenance – you know; having a manicure, getting your hair done or buying some new clothes. A little strategic pampering can go a long way this week.

What you might need most this week is a walk on the beach, a night staying up late listening to your favourite music, or a trip to the movies.

You might even need to do some unpleasant things that will ultimately benefit you, such as going to the dentist, getting your will made or seeking legal advice.

Whatever you decide, make choices that support you and help you to feel nourished, loved, uplifted and cared for – especially for all of you who spend the majority of your time looking after everybody else.

Supportive crystals this week?

Smoky Quartz keeps you grounded, gifting inner strength and the ability to
listen deeply to your own needs. Labradorite (pictured) encourages self-care, supports empathy and intuition, and is a gentle and reassuring stone for developing psychic ability. Rose Quartz is extremely nurturing, helping you to act and speak kindly and lovingly towards yourself. Larimar is also a good choice. This pretty blue stone will help you to speak your needs, and acknowledge where you are stuck, out of flow or in need of healing and change. A super stone for calling in healing on all levels.

Helpful essential oils?

Geranium is my choice this week. Geranium is such an underestimated essential oil. With its sweet floral scent it’s brilliant for helping you relax, unwind and get connected to your essence. It will uplift you and stimulate creativity, sensuality and emotional flow. If you’re an over-giver and your tank is dry, geranium oil will fill you back up again.

Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and inspiring pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using geranium or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

If you’re completely strung out then Lavender Essential Oil will calm your mind and body. Use in the same way as outlined above for Geranium Essential Oil.

You can find the oils here.

Energies of June – 2018

“Without leaps of imagination or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all is a form of planning.”
~ Gloria Steinem

Hello, Lovelies :)

Take a deep breath, schedule some downtime, and welcome the energies of June. June is a quieter month that invites us to spend time with loved ones, time on ourselves and our wellbeing, and time resting, recharging and doing what we love.

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for June for you: one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom Of The Oracle  and one from Steven Farmer’s Earth Magic Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in a conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channeled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

“Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can’t practice any other virtue consistently.”
~ Maya Angelou

June calls us to shift our energy inwards again. It’s a time for rest, healing and working on our own projects. It’s a time for cosying up with the people we care about, for nights in and quiet weekends at home or in the company of our dearest friends, while saying no to anything or anyone that takes us away from our highest priorities.

You might find that this is a lower energy month for you. That’s okay. It’s a month for regrouping, for gentle fun and connection, for extreme self-care and nurturing yourself and those you love.

The second card I’ve chosen is Full Moon.

“Whatever it takes to finish things, finish. You will learn more from a glorious failure than you ever will from something you never finished.”
Neil Gaiman

This month is an incredibly productive time for bringing a singular focus to getting something done. You might not have time for other people’s dramas but you’ll find energy for your own projects and passions. It’s all a matter of clear priorities and healthy boundaries.

June also shows us where we need to hand tasks or responsibilities to others. We cannot do everything ourselves, or be all things to all people. June supports us engaging help, finding staff or team members, and asking others to step up and contribute so that our situation is fairer and more collaborative.
It’s a time for visions, dreams and spiritual connection, and for honouring our soul wisdom. Magic can happen this month, if only we make a little time to listen and to connect.

Best crystals this month?

Smoky Quartz  and Labradorite

Smoky Quartz keeps us grounded and gifts us inner strength and the ability to
listen deeply.

Labradorite. encourages self-care, supports empathy and intuition, and is a gentle and reassuring stone for developing psychic ability.

Essential oils to support your journey?

Young Living’s Joy and Envision essential oil blends are my picks for June. Joy opens our hearts and tunes us in to our own inner wisdom as well as Universal Guidance and Support. It is uplifting, comforting and empowering. Dab a drop of either oil on your Crown Chakra, back of neck, wrists and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser. Envision helps us to see the possibilities for ourselves and our life. It brings inspiration, intuition, insight and clear vision. Rub a drop together in your hands, breathe in deeply and then wipe your hands in a circular extending movement through your aura. Finish with a drop on your Crown Chakra, Heart and inner wrists.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this month, but they’ll also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Frankincense for spiritual and intuitive connection and restoration of faith. Geranium for stress reduction and emotional balance, and for evoking a sense of peace and goodwill. Orange for optimism and happiness. Pine for being grounded and centred in ourselves as we open to our highest potential. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.

Wishing you a love-filled, satisfying and wonder-full June.

How To Charge Your Crystals Tonight!

“The full moon – the mandala of the sky.”

~Tom Robbins

Tonight, May 29 2018, is a full moon.

Ordinarily, I’d suggest that you place your crystals out on the earth to be charged up by the energy of the moon and by the grounding and cleansing effect of the stones being in contact with the earth. But right now our world is being bombarded by positive ions from the numerous solar flares that the sun is emitting. These particles fall to Earth and render the crust of the planet positively charged instead of the usual negative ionic field. That means your crystals won’t be able to be effectively grounded and cleared, although they will still be able to be charged by the moon.

So, what can you do?

It’s the perfect time to place Celestite, Angelite, Apophyllite, Smoky Quartz, Amethyst or Clear Quartz stones on the Earth. Cleanse them first by smudging them or using sound (such as a Tibetan Bell or Bowl).

Then place the stones directly in contact with the ground. The stones will gain a strong charge that will promote psychic attunement and growth, but they will lack any grounding energies. Leave out overnight. These stones can then be used by you in meditation to more easily connect energetically to your Higher Self, Guides and Angels. They will also be incredible stones for working with your dreams. Wrap the stones in a dark cloth when not in use.

If you want to be able to ground and cleanse your other crystals tonight don’t place them directly on the earth. Instead take a timber, clay or ceramic bowl (don’t use plastic, glass or metal) from your kitchen and line the bottom of the bowl with dried rice and then place the stones on top of the rice.

The rice still holds a negative charge and the energies of earthing.  Put the bowl outside on a bench or other elevated position so that is not in contact with the ground. Leave overnight as usual. When you bring the stones back inside discard the rice.

Need some extra support around these Solar Flares? You might find this post helpful.

Thinking of you all and sending so much love, Nicole ❤ xx

A Week For Hope and New Directions – Monday Oracle 28 May 2018

“Everything you attract into your life is a reflection of the story you believe and keep telling yourself.”
~ Farshad Asl

Hello, Lovelies!

May is a month that empowers us to take the long view of our goals, and to make decisions and take actions that support those goals. We see that it is pointless to put ourselves under endless pressure. May supports sustainable action, and working towards our goals and dreams bit by bit, step by step. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Three of Wands brings us.

This week we’re encouraged to monitor our self-talk. You know – that endless stream of thoughts and commentary that accompanies us in our mind as we go about our lives. Three Of Wands tells us that it is time to sing a better song, and that we need to sing our dreams into reality.

Watch how you talk to yourself this week. Are you encouraging or mean? Wise or cynical? As you come into an awareness of the language and tone you use for yourself actively start to change it to something more positive. Talk to yourself as a parent would speak lovingly to a child. Be aware of the energy of other people and how that impacts you too. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and who lift you up. If that’s not possible then minimise the time you spend with people who are toxic, negative and unsupportive.

The Three of Wands also reminds us to watch our actions. What choices are you making? Are they aligned with your values and the person you want to be? If you want to be healthy are you moving your body and making good food choices? Whatever it is that you hold as a vision for yourself, it is your self-talk and actions which will make that vision a reality. You have more power in your life than you truly know.

It’s a great week for bringing projects to life, for making big decisions, for nurturing tender new ideas that will go on to change your life direction.

If you’ve been down a hole of self-loathing, discouragement, fear and despair Three of Wands is a bright ray of sunshine through the clouds.

This week has a magic to it that can restore hope and leave you feeling stronger and better able to cope, to thrive, to create a life that makes you happy. And it all starts with you actively choosing to talk encouragingly to yourself, to be supportive to yourself, and to trust that you can make the best choices for your life.

Supportive crystals this week?

Orange Calcite connects you to creativity, inspiration and your heart’s desires and helps you to develop confidence in yourself and your dreams. Use it to help you see your first steps forward. Amethyst helps you tune in to spiritual guidance and also helps you to think deeply about your problems in ways that allow solutions to be found. Tiger Eye will help you focus, make big decisions and act with integrity and courage.  Rose Quartz (The pink central stone in the photo below) helps you to act and speak kindly and lovingly towards yourself.

Helpful essential oils?

Cypress is a very useful oil again this week, unless you’re pregnant or lactating (if you are please don’t use this oil – try Roman Chamomile instead!). Cypress has a woodsy fresh aroma that is expansive and uplifting. It works with our heart chakra, helping us to step into our power and to move through doubt, despair and stuckness with grace and courage. It’s a great oil for your diffuser.

If you’re looking for some extra support for your spiritual and creative flow come check out my upcoming Pop Up Shop, Channelling Night and One Day Workshops in Brisbane from Friday 29 June to Sunday July 1. I’ll be teaching Foundation Spiritual Practices on Saturday (the things I used to develop my own psychic and intuitive skills, self-awareness and compassion), and Meditation and Mala Making on Sunday(this second workshop is brilliant if you find meditation difficult or are feeling stressed and overwhelmed, stuck or suffering from anxiety or depression – plus you’ll get to make your own beatiful mala beads to take home). .More details here!

I also have my upcoming Intensive Mentoring and Retreat teaching Accelerated Channelling Using Sacred Geometry. Click on the link to find out more.

No matter what level you’re at I’ll have something for you on my program.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

A Big Week For Change and Healing – Monday Oracle 21 May 2018

“I can love who I think you are
Or you can allow yourself
To be yourself
So that I can love YOU.”
― Kate McGahan

Hello, Lovelies!

May is a month that empowers you to take the long view of your goals, and to make decisions and take actions that support those goals. We see that it is pointless to put ourselves under endless pressure. May supports sustainable action, and working towards our goals and dreams bit by bit, step by step. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card The Big Bad Wolf brings us.

The Big Bad Wolf calls on us to face our fears, our shadow side, and the dark place where we hide our secret hopes and dreams.

If you’re honest (and I want you to be honest) there are parts of yourself that you’re ashamed of – things that have happened in the past, that were done to you or that you’ve done to yourself or someone else. Or maybe you’re ashamed of the way you look or the way you act or of your current situation.

There are places and emotions within you that may make you feel uncomfortable. Perhaps it’s anger, maybe it’s lust, or it could be a huge desire to say ‘Screw it!’ and walk away from whatever is the sensible situation or relationship that everyone else keeps telling you is so great.

There are also dreams and desires you keep hidden deep inside because they mean so much to you. If you act on them and fail then who will you be? If you act on them and are judged or are rejected who will love you? If this thing doesn’t work out what will shape your life and give it meaning?

The Big Bad Wolf shows you that these inner places hold the key that will unlock your power. Embracing them and integrating them into your life, or bringing them out into the light to be healed or expressed will help you to grow and give your life satisfaction and meaning.

Think about those shadow parts of yourself and those secret dreams. Then find a way to claim them, heal them, integrate them, act on them. That’s your path to growth, and your path to self-love and reconnection with all that you are. This week can be life-changing if you are brave enough to act.

Trust your intuition – it’s heightened right now and this deeper sensitivity will guide you well.

Supportive crystals this week?

Orange Calcite connects you to inspiration and your heart’s desires and is a wonderful beginner stone for tuning in to the spiritual realms. Use it to help you see your first steps forward. Amethyst helps you tune in to spiritual guidance and also helps you to think deeply about your problems in ways that allow solutions to be found. Smoky Quartz (pictured) helps you tune in to your shadow side with empathy, compassion and wisdom. Tiger Eye will help you focus, make big decisions and act with integrity and courage.

Helpful essential oils?

Cypress is a very useful oil this week, unless you’re pregnant or lactating (if you are please don’t use this oil – try Roman Chamomile instead!). Cypress has a woodsy fresh aroma that is expansive and uplifting. It works with our heart chakra, helping us to step into our power and to move through grief, pain and trauma with grace and courage. It’s a great oil for your diffuser.

Want to create a soothing and empowering blend for the week ahead?
Add 6 drops of Cypress, 2 drops of Bergamot, 2 drops of Frankincense and 2 drops of Lavender.

You can find the oils here.

If you’re looking for some extra support for your spiritual journey come check out my (rescheduled!) Pop Up Shop, Channelling Night and One Day Workshops in Brisbane 29 June to 1 July. I’ll be teaching Foundation Spiritual Practices (the things I used to develop my own psychic and intuitive skills, self-awareness and compassion), Meditation and Mala making (this second workshop is brilliant if you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed, stuck or suffering from anxiety or depression). No matter what level you’re at I’ll have something for you on my program. More details here!

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

Hold True To Your Values This Week! – Monday Oracle 14 May 2018

“Because we always have a choice, even when it feels like we don’t.
~  A.C. Gaughen

Hello, Lovelies!

May is a month that empowers you to take the long view of your goals, and to make decisions and take actions that support those goals. We see that it is pointless to put ourselves under endless pressure. May supports sustainable action, and working towards our goals and dreams bit by bit, step by step.Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Guide of Swords brings us.

This week’s card draws heavily on the legend of Robin Hood who stole from the corrupt rich who were overtaxing society so that he could give the money back to the poor.

Guide of Swords reminds us to live from our values this week. Hold the higher ground. Stand up to bullies. Do what is fair and right and good. Live and lead by example. Be a lighthouse on a dark and stormy night, helping others to navigate safely. Don’t worry if the people around you don’t share the same views, or if they are behaving badly. Instead do all you can to live from a place of honesty, integrity and valour. These are old-fashioned virtues that still hold true even though they have fallen in popularity lately.

It’s a week where justice will be served, and the scales may tip in your favour if you have recently been wronged or unfairly treated. It’s a week for us to examine our position to determine if we could be doing more to support the causes that are dear to our hearts.

As we work towards our goals and plan our longer-term future this month we’re also being shown that sharing our success is important. Who can you help and how can you do that? Where can you make a positive difference in the world?

There is also a strong message within the Guide of Swords about the healing power of nature. If you’re overwhelmed by life go take a walk by the beach or through a forest, sit in the park at lunchtime, or spend time in your garden or with treasured pets. Nature helps us to come to a place of clarity, calm and wisdom. All we need to do is spend time there and find that connection back to our heart.

Helpful essential oils?

This week I’m loving Young Living’s Valor essential oil blend. It’s great for releasing old ways and old thinking, and for finding the courage to move in new directions. The fragrance of Valor is soothing and grounding and I find that it brings me instant calm when I am anxious or afraid. You can also use Young Living’s Peace and Calming Blend if you don’t have Valor at hand!)

Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and reassuring pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using Valor or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

If you can’t access these oils then use Sandalwood, Ginger or Rosemary.
