August is here, bringing a delicious basket of delights. It’s a month for creativity in all forms and for getting back into the flow of life again. You’ll find a lift in your mood and a clear road ahead so get ready to make the most of the opportunities all around you.Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Guardian of Hearts brings us.

Guardian of Hearts is all about Angelic Guidance. There is so much love around us – all we ever need to do is tune in.This week call on your Guardian Angel, the Archangels and the Unnamed Angels to support you and to smooth the way in all you do. The energies of this week support moving you in healthier and more supportive directions with work, love, finances and life.

Ruby Zoisite (pictured) is a stone of transformation, helping you to be empowered in your life. It elevates your confidence and authority, and improves fertility, imagination and innovation. Carnelian dispels doubt and negativity, strengthening self-esteem, confidence and creativity. Apophyllite connects you to the flow of Universal wisdom and dispels doubt and fear. It also amplifies your own intuitive ability. Celestite connects you to the Angelic realms for their guidance and protection and allows for easier connection during meditation.

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Joy or Believe essential oil blends, or  a combination (or singly!) of any of Grapefruit, Basil, Geranium and Sandalwood. The Joy blend is fabulous if you are feeling anxious or uncertain, or a bit sad or stuck. It’s reassuring and uplifting; wonderful for gently shifting depression and self-doubt. I often wear it as a perfume. Believe oil is a super stress-buster that boosts feel-good energies, creativity and self-esteem. It smells so uplifting and pretty too. It’s my oil of choice in my diffuser this week.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own but they also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Frankincense elevates our mood and promotes spiritual connection and intuition, Lavender keeps us in flow and relaxed, Ylang Ylang opens our hearts and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, and Bergamot promotes joy, gratitude and optimism. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. Hello, Lovelies!

July’s energies have been so heart-full and supportive of love and togetherness. In these final few days of this month’s energies make sure you find time for the people and things you love. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Aladdin and the Magic Lamp brings us.

This week Aladdin and the Magic Lamp remind us of the power of our dreams. And a dream is never more important than when we are in a hard place, a dark place, a place from which the attainment of that dream seems impossible.

Rise up this week. We are being offered hope through the journey of transformation and the promise of wishes coming true.

The power is within us. We create our own reality from our thoughts, words, intentions and actions. We hold within us the ability to imagine a better, brighter future for ourselves.

The Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse we’ve just experienced has brought up all our old fears, doubts, wounds and shames to be healed and let go. But what will take their place? That’s up to you. So dream it. Imagine it without placing limits on yourself. Then trust in a benevolent universe that will strive to bring you those dreams, giving ten-fold to the energy you yourself put forward.

Using The Energies of The Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse – July 2018

Tonight (or the early hours of Saturday morning, depending on where you live) we will be witness to the longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century! Australia is particularly well positioned to see this event, and you can use this link to look up the time it will be visible from your location here.

This kind of event is sometimes known as a Blood Moon because of the refracted energy from the earth giving the moon a red glow.

The energies of this eclipse are strong and will work in your favour although they may make you feel a little uncomfortable over the next few weeks.

The main power of the eclipse is in its capacity to help you release old fears, pain, limiting behaviours and beliefs in order to live more fully from your heart. That’s a good thing! But you may find yourself feeling quite emotional and a little off-balance for a few days while this cleansing and rebirthing energy moves through your life.

If you are interested in doing some big shift and personal growth try the following activities to help you make the most of the moon’s dynamics:

Life Direction:

Charge up a crystal to use as a focus stone for meditation and journalling. Place the stone outside under the open sky overnight on the night of the eclipse. Hold the stone in your hands first, cleanse it by visualising white light running through it, and then hold the intention that this stone be used for personal clarity and life direction. Best crystals for this are clear quartz, smoky quartz, citrine, amethyst or rutilated quartz. Any configuration will be okay, including points, towers, tumbles, clusters and jewellery pieces. Then place the stone out overnight and remove when the sun is high in the sky the following day. Now the stone is charged hold it or place it nearby when you meditate and when you journal or use cards to gain clarity for your personal questions.

 

Physical healing:

Charge up a crystal to use as a focus stone for physical healing. Place the stone outside under the open sky overnight on the night of the eclipse. Hold the stone in your hands first, cleanse it by visualising white light running through it, and then hold the intention that this stone be used for physical healing, immune strengthening, pain management or any other specific issue you care to name. Feel free to charge one up for a loved one too if you want! Best crystals for this are bloodstone, carnelian, hematite, fire agate, red jasper and green jade. Any configuration will be okay, including points, towers, tumbles and jewellery pieces. Then place the stone out overnight and remove when the sun is high in the sky the following day. Now the stone is charged hold it in meditation, wear it or place in pocket, or put under your pillow when you sleep.

 

Emotional and Spiritual healing:

Charge up a crystal to use as a focus stone for meditation and journalling. Place the stone outside under the open sky overnight on the night of the eclipse. Hold the stone in your hands first, cleanse it by visualising white light running through it, and then hold the intention that this stone be used for releasing old pains, patterns and limitations and for healing emotional and spiritual wounds so that you can grow and change in positive ways. Best crystals for this are rose quartz, green aventurine, turquoise, amazonite, smoky quartz, moonstone, pearls or opal. Any configuration will be okay, including points, towers, tumbles, clusters and jewellery pieces. Then place the stone out overnight and remove when the sun is high in the sky the following day. Now the stone is charged hold it, wear it or place it nearby when you meditate and when you journal or use cards to gain clarity for your personal questions.

Questions to explore in your journal, with meditation, or using Oracle/tarot cards:

1. Start by holding your crystal if you have chosen one, and close your eyes. Allow your breathing to become calm, and let yourself relax. Then breathe in white light or draw it in through the crown chakra at the top of your head. Offer up a prayer that everything you do be for the Highest Good. Ask your Highest Self, Guides, Angels, Ancestors or God to guide you. Say or think the intention ‘Show me why I am stuck, and help me see what to do next.’

2. Open your eyes. Hold your crystal or place it beside you while you work (feel free to pick it up and hold it again if you need some energy or encouragement). Take your journal and a pen and write whatever comes, using any of the following prompts. Write your prompt into your journal and then keep writing in response to that prompt. Don’t edit yourself. Just let the words flow.

  • I’m stuck because…
  • I hate my life right now because…
  • What I really don’t like is…
  • What I really want is…
  • What do I need to tell myself right now…
  • What do I really need to know right now…
  • Who am I?
  • What do I want?
  • Where am I going?
  • What’s better for me?
  • I’d rather be doing…

3. If you’re super stuck, and nothing is coming, keep asking yourself Why? Give yourself every Why question you can think of. If you ask Why am I stuck? and then write This is stupid! ask yourself Why is this stupid? Eventually, one of the Why questions will pry free all of the feelings and thoughts and answers that are stuck within you. Why are you stuck? Why can’t you do this? Why isn’t this working? Why don’t you know? Why is this a dumb exercise? Why? Why? Why?

4. You’ll end up with words on the page. Hooray! That’s the beginning of unstuckness. Go back over what you’ve written with a highlighter or a pen in another colour where you can underline key words and phrases. Highlight anything that stands out to you.

5. Now choose one of those highlighted areas to investigate further. (This eclipse really supports diving deep.) Write the words you’ve highlighted into your journal again as a new entry, Eg: My relationship with Steve. Close your eyes again, breathe deeply and bring yourself to a place of calm. Feel your energetic team and your Higher Self ready to guide you. Fill yourself with white light and really feel into that support and connection. When you’re ready open your eyes again and pick up your oracle or tarot cards. Shuffle them, thinking about your relationship with Steve. Then choose three cards. The first card shows you where you are now. The second card shows you what the issue or limitation is. The final card shows you your opportunity or outcome. Look at the first card, and really pay attention to whatever thoughts, emotions or ideas come to you, and what the imagery of the card says to you in relation to where you are now with this situation. Then write what comes to you from looking at the card. Repeat this process for the second card, looking to understand what the issues or limitations are. Now use the final card to explore what the opportunities or outcomes can be.

Be open to situations where you may now need to find a coach, mentor or qualified therapist. Sometimes we can own and understand the problem but need help framing up a solution.

Our heart knows what it wants. Our soul can guide us. All we ever need to do is make time for that questing and connection.

As you begin to get unstuck again expect more answers, more flow and a return to inspiration. You’ve got this!

A Week For Hope And Good Outcomes – Monday Oracle 16 July 2018

July’s energies are so heart-full! They are all about love and togetherness. Make sure you find time for the people and things you love in July, and if you’re looking for love know that this is a very supportive month for starting new relationships. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Jack and the Beanstalk brings us.

Jack and The Beanstalk gifts us messages of hope, good outcomes and of surrendering to a higher power.
We have a chance to overcome our problems this week, especially if we get a little help from someone who has walked that same road and who knows what to be aware of and how to best proceed.
Jack and The Beanstalk reminds us about the unexpected gifts we can find when we follow new roads with a sense of curiosity – even when we don’t know where the road might lead or what our outcome will be. Embracing a spirit of trust and adventure is helpful this week and will serve us well.
There is a sense of things turning a corner for us, of improvements and breakthroughs coming our way. Because this is a month of love it also heralds breakthroughs in our communications with loved ones, solutions and breakthroughs where communication has broken down or hit an impasse, and new opportunities coming our way in love, especially in unexpected ways.
It’s also a strong week for fertility and all forms of creativity, and for planting the little tiny seeds of dreams that can one day grow into something strong and good and true.

Young Living has a blend called Release which is perfect for this week’s energies. It is an uplifting and nurturing blend of Ylang Ylang, Lavandin, Geranium, Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, Grapefruit, Tangerine, Spearmint, Lemon, Blue Cypress, Davana, Lime, Ocotea, Jasmine, Matricaria, Blue Tansy, and Rose. It’s an essential oil we use on our retreats to help participants let go of emotional trauma, negative thoughts and beliefs, and old energies and emotions that have become stuck. I love it. Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and reconnecting pick-me-up. July’s energies are so heart-full! They are all about love and togetherness. Make sure you find time for the people and things you love in July, and if you’re looking for love know that this is a very supportive energy for starting new relationships. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Two of Hearts brings us.

This week focuses on two areas – connection and emotional healing.

It’s a week for deepening existing unions, for breakthroughs where there has been stuckness and forgiveness where there has been pain.

If you’re seeking a new relationship this is the week to put yourself out there, to make the first move, to be brave enough to say yes to that invitation or to ask that person out for a coffee.

Suffering from a broken heart? This week is a good time to get counselling to help put yourself back together.

This is an exceptional week for connecting with friends and family and for any kind of reunion or reconnection with people with whom you’ve lost touch.

Was there ever a better month for love and togetherness? Maybe not! Make sure you find time for the people and things you love in July, and if you’re looking for love know that this is a very supportive energy for starting new relationships.

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for July for you: one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Enchanted Map and one from Steven Farmer’s Earth Magic Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in a conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channeled information.

So Many Treasures!

I’m putting the finishing touches on our pop up shop stock which opens on Friday in Brisbane.

The past few days have been spent channelling crystals and putting their messages onto cards or packing boxes full of treasure. I’ve pulled out crystal stock that I’ve had for over twenty years, as well as some stunning new pieces from Tibet, Nepal, Greenland, Iceland, Congo, Afghanistan, Iran and Mexico.

I have Tibetan singing bowls, prayer shawls and an incredible array of tarot and oracle cards – over 300 decks to choose from. Some old favourites but so many new ones. I’ll be on hand all day Friday to advise you about which ones will work best for you, and how to use them. There are journals and jewellery, crystals and talismans, incense and all manner of other delights for your spiritual journey too.

I can’t wait to share them with you!

This Crystal Farmer’s Latest Harvest

We harvested crystals on the weekend. They have been out in grids under our magnolia tree and below the massive platform of sticks that is the Eagles’ nest in the old tree down by the river.

The stones had been on the ground so long that grass had grown lush and thick around them. To find them we crept on our hands and knees, parting the grass to find the crystals embedded beneath.

Some of these stones are for the participants in my one-day workshops in Brisbane this weekend, and the rest are for my retreat students.

After six months on the ground, beneath the open sky and cradled gently by the earth, they feel strongly energised – ready to be worked with, meditated with, held.

Our Accelerated Channelling Retreat and Mentorship Program sold out in seven hours, so you’ll be pleased to know that we have secured our favourite venue for February next year to host a second offering of this content. Stay tuned – we’ll be opening up our expressions of interest again soon.

There is still room however if you’d like to join us this weekend. We have a night of channelling and meditation this Friday, followed by two one day workshops. On Saturday we run Foundation Spiritual Practices, and on Sunday it’s our Meditation and Mala Making Workshop. Both of these one-day courses will give you practices you can use to develop your intuitive skills over the next few months, to be ready for our next retreat and mentoring.

Our upcoming Pop Up Shop will open from 10am to 5.30pm on Friday June 29, and from 10am to 4pm on Saturday June 30  and Sunday July 1Come browse our gorgeous range of crystals, singing bowls, prayer shawls, tarot and oracle cards, journals and other tools for self-exploration and spiritual development. There will be free demonstrations on using the singing bowls to clear spaces and your own energies, on how to use oracle and tarot cards, and myself and my team will be on hand to help with your crystal and card selections.

On Friday night I’ll be hosting a Channelling and Guided Meditation Night from 6 to 9pm. I rarely conduct channelling sessions outside my retreats, so this is a very special offering. I’ll be channelling my guides and some fairy friends who’ll be discussing:

  • How to use silence and nature to heal yourself emotionally and physically
  • How to use meditation to increase your emotional resilience and physical immunity
  • How to work with crystals in meditation, for manifestation and for healing and the science behind how crystals interact with us (Some really cool new information here!)
  • Using movement and music to energise you, release energetic and emotional blockages and help manage anxiety and depression.
  • There will also be ample time for questions from the audience.

This Saturday’s Foundation Spiritual Practices one-day workshop will help you wake up your natural psychic and intuitive abilities by developing a strong practice of regular habits to incorporate into your daily life. Whether you are a complete beginner or have been working with your spiritual gifts for years you’ll find tools and techniques here to help accelerate your growth. More importantly, these practices will help you to reclaim your mindfulness, sense of self, inner calm, good decision-making, peace within, and a strong connection to guiding energies.

These are the techniques I used to build my own intuitive and psychic abilities. They are tried and tested with over 35 years of my own personal practice. If you’re busy, stressed, anxious, time-poor and longing for a way back to that safe and tranquil space of connection and communion, or if you’ve gotten out of the habit of regular spiritual practice this is the workshop for you!

We will be learning:

  • What a spiritual Journeymaker is and why it’s time for you to make that journey!
  • How to use tarot and oracle cards to find your own answers and to go deeply into a space that gives you purpose, direction and perspective. (Even if you have NEVER done this before I will have you working confidently within a short space of time!)
  • How to use crystals for deep soul work.
  • How to use journalling as part of your regular spiritual practice – done properly, journalling can open doors in your life you’d never thought possible! I’ll show you how to frame your questions, how to spiritually connect and how to go deeper to create a sacred journey of self-enlightenment.
  • How to easily connect with your Guides and Higher Self in meditation, and how to access these energies for direction and guidance.
  • How to give yourself and others energetic healing to revitalise the body, clear blockages and promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing.
  • Creating a sacred space in your home, and the fundamentals of crystal gridding, space clearing and energy work.
  • Some sacred and powerful breathing and energies techniques taught to me by my Aboriginal Aunties that I have never shared before.
  • Some simple quick spiritual rituals to start and end your day connected, balanced and in a good place.

Morning and afternoon tea and a delicious lunch will be provided.

Sunday’s Meditation and Mala Making Workshop will teach you all about Mala Beads – what they are, how they work, and how to use them.

You’ll create your own sacred Meditation Mala with a combination of blessed wooden beads and crystals. You’ll learn the prayers and blessings to activate your Mala and to attune it to your own energies. At the end of the day you’ll have a beautiful wearable spiritual tool that suits your personality, energy and style.

You’ll also learn how to use your Meditation Mala. I’ll show you:

  • how to meditate to reach that deep quiet space that everyone talks about but so few people get to
  • how to meditate to manage anxiety, stress and depression
  • how to meditate to create manifesting energies that draw positive energy, situations and relationships to your life
  • how to meditate to send energy and healing to others
  • how to meditate to change habits and build positive new ones
  • how to meditate to build your own intuitive connection and connection to Guides, Ancestors, Angels and God (whomever or whatever you perceive that energy to be)
  • how to meditate to clear and activate your chakras

These are the mala meditation techniques I have used to build my own intuitive and psychic abilities, some of which have been shared with me by Tibetan Buddhist Shamans.

A Week For Adventures and New Directions – Monday Oracle 25 June 2018

Hello, Lovelies!

June is a quieter month energetically – one that invites us to spend time with loved ones, time on ourselves and our wellbeing, and time resting, recharging and doing what we love. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Seeker of Wands brings us this week.

Do you know the story of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz? This is Dorothy with her little dog Toto, about to embark on a glorious adventure. She has her magical red shoes on – which is symbolic of her Base Chakra – so she is feeling, safe, secure, loved, and she is ready to go off exploring. Seeker of Wands lets us know that the week ahead is about opening ourselves to new possibilities, to exploring new aspects of ourselves, of new relationships, travel and adventure.

Mix it up a bit this week. Try taking an alternate route to your usual one when you are travelling, or travel at a different time. Eat at a new cafe. Listen to a new radio station. And where possible plan an adventure or two, even if that’s just a short wander during your lunch hour.

Just like Dorothy travelling with her trusty companion Toto, connect with friends and loved ones this week. A journey shared can be double the fun!

Expect to bump into helpful people and for synchronicities to bless your life in the days ahead.

Be adventurous in your choices. Try new colours, outfits and fragrances. Get your hair styled a new way. If you’re thinking about dating this is a great week for new romance too.

For some people Seeker of Wands is asking you to step up to your calling this week. Be bold and put yourself out there. There are lots of opportunities in the air for promotion, advancement and change – why not allow the Universe to help you move in a new direction, one that is better suited to you than where you are now.

Helpful essential oils?

Ylang Ylang, Geranium and Jasmine are my choices this week because of their ability to promote self-confidence, creativity and self-esteem. Use them on their own or in combination of equal parts of each oil.

Apply the oils to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse them. One of my favourite uses for these oils is as a centering and inspiring pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using these or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

Need an extra boost of encouragement? Try Young Living’s Believe essential oil blend. It’s fabulous in your diffuser while you work, or as a quick pick-me-up with a three-minute meditation. Believe is uplifting and promotes confidence, spiritual connection, clarity and belief in yourself. It also helps you to let go of fear, doubt and old emotional pain and hurt.

So Much Excitement ‘Cos… NEW CRYSTALS ARE COMING!!!

I have a friend who is an adventurer. Dan is his name, and we met at university a long, long time ago. Dan is the kind of guy who packs a rucksack, buys a ticket to some obscure destination and then starts walking. He is that old-fashioned kind of off-the-beaten-track traveller who almost seems to exist in a parallel dimension, so different is his life to most people I know. He’ll travel by mule train, bus, jeep, cargo boat, ferry, motorbike or river raft. He goes deep into countries most people fear to travel. He looks like a bearded nomad and is burned bronze, lean-limbed and able to communicate in several languages and dialects.

Dan and I came to a happy agreement some years ago. He loves to look for treasure, and in his distant past he was a geologist. For a crystal-loving girl like me Dan is a dream come true! Our relationship is this: I give him a wad of cash, he goes off on his adventures, I hear little or nothing from him and then three months or six months or a year later he comes home again and he has swapped my money for rocks, minus a little he’s used for living expenses.

Dan’s been gone since November last year, but I’m catching up with him on Saturday to collect his latest haul of crystals for me. I can’t wait to see what treasures he’s unearthed, and they come just in time for my Brisbane pop-up shop at the end of the month (details here).

I feel like a kid at Christmas, staying up to wait for Santa!

I promise I’ll post pics when we’ve unwrapped all the goodies he has for us.
