Ending Shiny Object Syndrome – Monday Oracle 5 June 2017

“We’re going to have to let truth scream louder to our souls than the lies that have infected us.”
~ Beth Moore

“The greater the artist, the greater the doubt. Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize.”
~ Robert Hughes

Hello, Lovelies!

Here’s the oracle card I have chosen this Monday, and my take on the energetic outlook for the week ahead. I use any oracle or tarot cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book. ‘Insecurity’ is from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Deck by Tori Hartman.

If you read my forecast for June, you’ll remember that June is a gentle month of revitalisation, redirection and emotional and physical nourishment.

Now, lets look at the gifts Insecurity brings this week.

Have you ever hear of ‘Shiny Object Syndrome’? It’s that distraction tendency we can suffer from where we start something and then don’t finish it because we are suddenly distracted by another idea which we then hurry off to explore.

You might do this with anything. Business ideas, book ideas, love relationships, career choices, chores, study, diets, exercise programs – anything at all!

Suddenly it seems that there are so many choices, and surely one of them will be better than your current one. It can actually send you a little mad…

We all do it to some degree. But this week we are being supported to see this behaviour in ourselves and also to begin to understand the energy behind it.

We chase Shiny Objects for four main reasons:

  1. We lack confidence in our decisions and worry that there might be a better choice for us.
  2. We make our choices to please others, rather than tuning in and honouring our own wisdom and desires.
  3. We care so much about the outcome that we don’t want to mess it up or fail.
  4. Other people constantly undermine and devalue us and our ideas.

Use the energies this week to simplify everything down to the main things that matter. Then put more time into those few things. How do you do this? Take some quiet time and reflect until you get clear. Journal. Pull an oracle or tarot card. Lean in with God (or whatever you perceive that Divine to be), your Guides and your own intuition. This isn’t about listening to other people. It’s about FINALLY listening to yourself.

Stop overthinking and start doing. You’ll be amazed at how much that can change your situation.

Then start saying NO to all of the things that don’t support the path you’ve chosen or that will pull you away from thing you need to complete.

Stuck and at a complete standstill?

Just make a decision. Even the act of making a choice will give you momentum, and you’ll soon know if is the right choice or if you need to pivot to a better one. But at least you’ll be moving again.

There’s a tremendous energy of intuitive clarity, emerging confidence and hope for you to tune in to this week.

Make the most of it!

Supportive crystals this week?

Blue Quartz helps us to overcome anger, resentment and jealousy, and move to a place of better emotional balance. Green Chrysoprase opens our heart and helps with emotional healing and self-acceptance. Citrine helps us to bring the energy and enthusiasm back into our lives, so our thoughts become optimistic and clear. Fluorite encourages us to see the possibilities in ourselves, especially in regard to creativity or business.

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Abundance essential oil blend, or a combination (or singly!) of any of Orange, Geranium, Frankincense and Myrrh. Abundance opens us to the flow of life, helping us to act from a place of love, trust and benevolence. Just rub a drop together in the palms of your hands and then breathe in and wipe through your aura.  Dab a few drops on your wrists or over your heart – its warm, spicy aroma makes it a great perfume or cologne. A few drops in the bath are wonderful too. You may want to dilute with a drop or two of a base oil such a sweet almond or coconut before applying directly to the skin.  It’s my oil of choice in my diffuser this week. You can find all the oils here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for a you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

The Energies of June – 2017

“For true love is inexhaustible; the more you give, the more you have. And if you go to draw at the true fountainhead, the more water you draw, the more abundant is its flow.”
~ Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Hello, Lovelies :)

Suddenly, here we are at June. June is a gentle month of revitalisation, redirection and emotional and physical nourishment. I’m so up for that. How about you?

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for June for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
~ Anaïs Nin

“The lotus is the most beautiful flower, whose petals open one by one. But it will only grow in the mud. In order to grow and gain wisdom, first you must have the mud — the obstacles of life and its suffering. … The mud speaks of the common ground that humans share, no matter what our stations in life. … Whether we have it all or we have nothing, we are all faced with the same obstacles: sadness, loss, illness, dying and death. If we are to strive as human beings to gain more wisdom, more kindness and more compassion, we must have the intention to grow as a lotus and open each petal one by one. ”
~ Goldie Hawn

June lifts us to a higher awareness around our past. It’s a time to lift up out of adversity and to trust in new directions. No need to agonise anymore. It’s easy to let go and move on. It’s time to tell ourselves a better story based on our past – one that is helpful and liberating, rather than one which keeps us trapped.

We begin to move into flow and things just start working more easily for us. We’re encouraged to work with others and to create teams and tribes, to share our stories and to share what we know in service to others. Joy for life infuses each cell of our body.

It’s a month that suits working on our physical and emotional health, and it’s a super time for detoxing, starting a new eating plan or getting your body moving again – all from a place of profound love and self-acceptance of what has been as well as allowing of what may come.

It’s an incredible month for psychic connection and for all forms of art, movement, music and writing. Expect divine inspiration and flow of ideas and support. Quite simply, it’s a month of magical connection and shift!

The second card I’ve chosen is To The Sea. What a beautiful image of hope, restoration and direction.

“May what I do flow from me like a river, no forcing and no holding back, the way it is with children.”
~ Rainer Maria Rilke

When we trust and step forward into the flow of life, that flow will carry us forward – out of stuckness, out of the old – and in directions we may possibly have never imagined for ourselves.

The river started as a small trickle. That trickle followed its true nature and kept moving. Soon it became a river. Unstoppable. With a momentum and power all its own.

When you jump into the river, the river will carry you. To The Sea reminds us that life is a mystery, and the secret to life is to be in flow with it.

How do you do that? How do you be in flow?
Stop thinking so much and start trusting. Feel into things. Act from intuition. Listen to your heart. Practice kindness with yourself, and check in often to work out how you truly feel and what sparks of interest or action lie within you. Follow those sparks.

In June, trust in the bigger picture. Trust your senses. Take a risk on what you want. See where life takes you!

Best crystals this month?

Blue Quartz and Green Chrysoprase

Blue Quartz  is a profoundly calming stone that opens us to a state of flow and grace. Excellent for helping us to speak up. Supports throat and third eye chakras.

Green Chrysoprase opens our heart to love, joy, self acceptance and deep compassion for self and others. It also dissolves blocks to abundance in all forms.

Essential oils to support your journey?

Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this month, but they also make a delicious combination for diffusing. The essential oils you will find helpful in June are Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Frankincense, and Orange. Ylang Ylang helps lift our mood so we can see new possibilities for ourselves and our lives, Geranium reduces anxiety and promotes emotional balance and healing, Frankincense connects us to our intuition and to the Divine, and Bergamot supports physical wellbeing, releases emotional pain and helps us to move forward with joy. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.

June is a marvellous month for us to move back into flow, to heal, to grow and to thrive.

Stay connected to what matters most to you, follow your heart, and make some time to enjoy life’s pleasures and those special relationships in your life.

Lots of love, Nicole❤ xoxo

Choosing What Matters – Monday Oracle 15 May 2017

“Sometimes the dreams that come true are the dreams you never even knew you had.”
~ Alice Sebold

“If you want to identify me, ask me not where I live, or what I like to eat, or how I comb my hair, but ask me what I am living for, in detail, ask me what I think is keeping me from living fully for the thing I want to live for.”
~ Thomas Merton

Hello, Lovelies!

Here’s the oracle card I have chosen this Monday, and my take on the energetic outlook for the week ahead. I use any oracle or tarot cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book. ‘Destiny’ is from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Deck by Tori Hartman.

If you read my forecast for May, you’ll remember that May brings beautiful heart-nurturing energies, helping you to move towards love, forgiveness, inner peace and emotional freedom.

So, what gifts does Destiny bring for you this week?

Destiny reminds us, with love and wisdom, that this is our one beautiful life. These days will never be repeated. There is no second chance. No matter what other lives we may have, no matter what comes after this life ends, today is all we have, and we cannot rely on having a certain number of tomorrows.

What do you want to do with this one precious life? What do you want your days to look like? Your weeks? Your years?

I don’t mean what was expected of you by your family or your teachers or your culture. What you think you should do. What you think you have to do.  What you think it’s too late to change. And I don’t mean what you are doing now; what you trained for, what you fell into, what you’ve fought for or been handed . No.

I’m talking about what is in your heart. That secret dream, that desire, that urge, that longing, that curiosity, that idea which won’t let go.

Today is all we can be sure of. Destiny nudges our heart, and helps us to see what really matters, and if it matters to us then we must act to make it real for us.

So, my lovelies, what will you choose this week? What matters to you? What would you die regretting if you didn’t follow your heart on this?

Supportive crystals this week?

Rhodonite is great for supporting us to follow our hearts. Snowflake Obsidian will help to remove old negative self-talk and replace it with optimism. Citrine opens us to ideas creativity and being able to accept help and opportunities. Red Jasper will keep you grounded and emotionally supported if you need to move through trauma or anxiety in order to make changes.

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Awaken essential oil blend, or a combination (or singly!) of any of Rosemary, Orange, Frankincense and Lavender. Awaken essential oil blend smells sweet and woody and can be worn as a perfume (place on wrists, over heart and on back of neck) or used in a diffuser. A few drops in the bath are heavenly too. It’s a great oil to get you out of your head and into your heartspace. It promotes spiritual connection and intuition and is deeply calming. I love this oil, and it’s my oil of choice in my diffuser this week. You can find all the oils here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for a you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

The Energies of May – 2017

“A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees.” ~ Amelia Earhart

Hello, Lovelies :)

Breathe a sigh of relief. May is here with her gentle heart-nurturing energies, after the upheavals, revelations and hard work of April.

We’ve identified or faced the difficult stuff, and now that we know where we stand the only way for us to move is forward. Of course May also reminds us that we might need a cup of tea and a nap first – and that’s perfectly okay!

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for May for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

“Where there is love there is life.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi

May is a heart-centred month. Our little soul garden has such potential for blooming and flourishing now. May encourages us to get out of the shadow of others and shine our own light. It’s a month where projects and ideas can thrive and we begin to trust our own judgement.

It’s a month where we can develop deep and lasting love connections, and where we can finally heal from the pain of previous heartbreak – whatever the cause.

May shows us how to be independent in love, rather than collapsing into relationships and situations that swallow us whole so that we lose our sense of self or surrender what is dear to us in order that a relationship might work. In May we see that losing ourselves in love isn’t the way to love anyone, especially ourselves.

May is also a great month for overcoming addictions, and healing our body, mind and spirit of deep wounds and traumas so that we can stand strong again.

The second card I’ve chosen is Peace. In May we are encouraged to drop the things from our lives that pull us into craziness, pain or chaos. Strong boundaries may be needed. It’s also a time for forgiveness, no matter how long a burden of pain has been carried.

“We don’t realize that, somewhere within us all, there does exist a supreme self who is eternally at peace.”
~ Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love

If you do one thing in May, let it be an act of forgiveness. Forgiveness untethers you from being stuck in the past. It gives you wings. It gifts you freedom. It restores peace. Sometimes, that is also the precious gift your forgiveness gives someone else.

Forgiveness ultimately is about freeing yourself, even if it is someone else you are forgiving. Remember that. It never validates or justifies what happened. It merely says that you are going to put the burden of this heavy thing down now, so that your energy can flow again and you can move away from the pain.

Forgives needs to start with yourself. Every day is a fresh beginning, if only you will allow that. You woke up this morning different to who you were yesterday. Sometimes the change is big. Sometimes it is infinitesimally small. But you changed. So did the other people on this planet. Allow for that possibility in yourself and others, while always maintaining kindness, compassion and common sense.

If you extend an olive branch to another and it is rejected? Be at peace with that. Respect that other person’s choices. Let it be peaceful on your side of the relationship. Be glad that you tried. Flow love anyway. Know that no might not mean never – it might simply not be the right timing yet.

Create space in your life for quiet and peace this month. Find a space that can be your sanctuary or create one. (Not sure how to do that? My lovely friend Helen Joy Butler can help. Go check out her website here)

Best crystals this month?

Rhodonite and Amazonite

Rhodonite is a stone of compassion and love that supports the heart chakra and aids emotional healing. It really bolsters our emotional resilience too.

Image from the GemStoneGeeks

Amazonite taps us into our inner strength and restores hope and trust – a very uplifting stone.

Essential oils to support your journey?

Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this month, but they also make a delicious combination for diffusing. The essential oils you will find helpful in May are Geranium, Rosemary, Ylang Ylang, and Jasmine. Geranium will soothe anxiety, Rosemary enhances focus and concentration and lifts us out of fatigue and burnout, Ylang Ylang supports us to be able to receive love into our lives and to feel more loving towards ourselves, Jasmine is a wonderful oil for connecting to our intuitive and natural optimism. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.

Make space in your life for relationships, love, connection, forgiveness and gentleness this month. With yourself. With others. You’ll be so glad you did.

Lots of love, Nicole❤ xoxo

The Possibilities Before Us – Monday Oracle 24 April 2017

“Could we change our attitude, we should not only see life differently, but life itself would come to be different. Life would undergo a change of appearance because we ourselves had undergone a change of attitude.”
~ Katherine Mansfield

Hello, Lovelies!

Here’s the oracle card I have chosen this Monday, and my take on the energetic outlook for the week ahead. I use any oracle or tarot cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book. ‘Enlightenment’ is from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Deck by Tori Hartman.

If you read my forecast for April, you’ll remember that April has strong energy for believing in ourselves and reclaiming our direction.

So, what gifts does Enlightenment bring for you this week?

This week brings hope, even for those of us who have found ourselves in the darkest of spaces. It also brings us the capacity to envision our best self, or the ultimate outcome for a project or business, and the clarity to begin to work towards that.

It’s a week of sifting and sorting. Working out where to spend our time, working out what to keep and what to let go.

So much will begin to fall away this week. As we begin to know and trust ourselves our outlook will change. We’ll begin to feel more free, more peaceful, more optimistic – no matter what our current circumstances might be.

This week the energy supports you to hold space for others in a way that allows them to finally glimpse for themselves the potential you see is possible for them. It’s a week where we can begin to believe in ourselves and in a brighter future.

For some of us this week will also bring visions – a deeper connection to God, our Guides, our Higher Selves. It’s a week well suited to all things spiritual and metaphysical. A great week for devotion, meditation and for preparing to delve deeper. A week where teachers will appear, because we are finally ready. Or maybe YOU are the teacher and you are finally ready… 🙂

In summary this is a week of revelation, of hope, of answers. Of new direction and of possibility – even though the path or the destination may not be clear as yet.

Supportive crystals this week?

Snowflake Obsidian will help to remove old negative self-talk and replace it with optimism. Selenite will help you to connect into your guides, angels and psychic ability. Amethyst will truly boost your intuitive abilities and help you on your spiritual path.  Pyrite for physical healing and Jade/Nephrite for emotional healing.

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Awaken essential oil blend, or a combination (or singly!) of any of Geranium, Orange, Sandalwood and Lavender. I love this oil, and it’s my oil of choice in my diffuser again this week. You can find all the oils here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for a you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

The Week Ahead – Oracle for Monday 17 April 2017

“Every minute brings a new opportunity. Every minute brings new growth, new experiences.”
~ Mario Cuomo

Hello, Lovelies!

Here’s the oracle card I have chosen this Monday, and my take on the energetic outlook for the week ahead. I use any oracle or tarot cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book. ‘Expansion’ is from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Deck by Tori Hartman.

If you read my forecast for April, you’ll remember that April has strong energy for believing in ourselves and reclaiming our direction.

So, what gifts does Expansion bring for you this week?

Expansion gives us such wonderful perspective this week. Finally we are able to see ourselves honestly and with kindness. We’re able to hear our own inner wisdom, and the wisdom from others that resonates with our own soul knowing and highest good..

This week is about honouring our needs, and making sure that we move in the direction of our own best selves. As we do this we will find that support comes from all kinds of avenues. A fresh breeze travels into our lives, shifting us from stagnation and back to a place of hope and optimism. Our soul is expanding and requiring that we live more truly as ourselves, with no apologies.

For some people this is about healing. If you know you need to seek a second opinion, get a check-up, speak to a therapist or an expert, commit to a way of eating or cleaner living, move your body more or get that problem attended to, this is your week for it. And it’s a glorious week for setting you up to keep on going and to make major lasting changes.

For some people this is about projects dear to your hearts. If you have a calling, a vision, a project, a business, an idea, a book inside of you – anything like this – Expansion calls to you to stop talking and start doing. There is fabulous energy for starting, completing and also for sharing your offerings.

For some of you, it’s about spiritual and psychic connection, mediumship and channelling, and for stepping bravely into a more intuitive, wise and heart-connected space. This also heralds well for spirit-guided relationships. This is a week where all kinds of relationship opportunities can come your way, with a little help from above.

It’s a week of elevated perspectives, possibilities, new ideas, bright beginnings and glimmers of hope that become golden sunbursts. Change is in the air!

Supportive crystals this week?

Snowflake Obsidian will help to remove old negative self-talk and replace it with optimism. Selenite will help you to connect into your guides, angels and psychic ability. Amethyst will truly boost your intuitive abilities and help you on your spiritual path.  Carnelian for physical healing and Lepidolite for emotional healing.

I love this oil, and it’s my oil of choice in my diffuser this week. You can find all the oils here.

Is Work Moving You Toward Or Away From What You Want? – Monday Oracle 10 April 2017

“I tend to be… they say ‘workaholic,’ which I just find to be ‘motivated.’ ”
~ Sarah Hay

Hello, Lovelies!

Here’s the oracle card I have chosen this Monday, and my take on the energetic outlook for the week ahead. I use any oracle or tarot cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book. ‘Workaholic’ is from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Deck by Tori Hartman.

If you read my forecast for April, you’ll remember that April has strong energy for believing in ourselves and reclaiming our direction.

So, what gifts does Workaholic bring for you this week?

This is a week for honestly evaluating how we spend our time.

Ask anyone who truly loves what they do, and they will most likely tell you that they work long hours, that they often wake up thinking about their work, and go to bed still thinking about it too. That’s not workaholism – that’s passion. That’s total engagement with an idea or a vision. Where others might see sacrifice or lack of balance, that person sees only their calling and being in flow with that thing. They are compelled and it adds to rather than subtracts from their lives.

Have you ever lost track of time while doing something you enjoy? That’s the kind of energy I mean.

Some of us work hard because there are bills to pay. We end up working in jobs we hate to pay for things we can’t really afford. Life becomes an endless rat race.

Then there’s work as a drug. Every spare hour is filled with some kind of job. And we are the ones who fill up those hours. This goes beyond being busy. (No, this doesn’t even have to be paid work. I’m just talking busy-ness. Even retirees can experience this.) We sign up for more and more and more. In fact, many of us have grown up believing that this is the measure of a successful person, or at least what it takes to be successful. But is it? This is workaholism – a mind-numbing addiction that is just as deadly as alcohol or drugs – because it keeps us from feeling our feelings and facing whatever it is that we are avoiding. It also ramps up our stress, weakens our bodies, invites illness and destroys lives.

Sometimes we end up in that workaholism space by choice, but often it sneaks up on us. Even people who love what they do can fall into this trap, and then find themselves facing burnout and falling out of love with their dream because they forgot to make it sustainable. Workaholism creates numbness and exhaustion so that we stop asking ourselves if this is what we want, or how we want to work and live, or if we would rather choose something else.

The energy of this week supports you asking yourself that very question. Is this the life I want for myself? Is this the work I want? Is there room in my life for living and doing what I love to do? How do I want to spend my time? What matters to me?

Find some time for yourself this week, and ask yourself those questions. And if you’re not happy with the answers begin to make some changes. Look to simplify your life, to find some time for the things that matter, and for the underestimated joy of just having spare time for living.

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Clarity essential oil blend, or a combination (or singly!) of any of Basil, Bergamot, Cedarwood and Lavender. Clarity essential oil blend promotes focus and clear thinking, but it’s calming and uplifting at the same time. I love this oil, and it’s my oil of choice in my diffuser this week. You can find all the oils here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for a you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx
