If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.

Hey, Lovelies!
Another happy update today – my secret garden on the laundry deck is thriving, and tonight I will be using fistfuls of fresh basil for our dinner.
We already have tiny tomatoes forming, our first strawberry flower opened yesterday, and my garden is only a month old.
I’m declaring it a success!
It’s such a joy to be able to check in each morning and see what progress has been made, or to wander up while dinner is cooking to pluck a few fresh herbs. I’ve already harvested quite a lot of coriander and parsley, and I can see I will need to plant more because we use so much of it in our daily meals.
I’ll add a few photos below.
Love, hugs and that sharp sweet smell of crushed basil leaves, Nicole xx
Looking good

Lovely, lovely, lovely!
Dear Nicole
Aren’t fresh herbs the simplest ingredients to transform a dish from mundane to sublime? 🤩
I wouldn’t be without my home grown herbs.
They all look strong and vibrant!! Basil is incredible….I am going to plant some more today after having been inspired by your success!! 💚💚💚
