Don’t forget to pause and nourish yourself a bit along the way.
When you’re born to help others sometimes you forget to help yourself.

Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using Wishcraft Oracle by Stacey Demarco, with artwork by Elizabeth Tiethoff, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 29. PAINTING WITH MAGIC
2024 is a year for fresh starts, for creativity, healing and social connection. It’s a year for ambitious projects and for getting stuff done.
March is a great month for finding ways to fall in love with yourself and your life, for making progress towards projects and dreams, and for all kinds of renovations and restorations.
29. PAINTING WITH MAGIC
It’s a week for nourishing your Soul Self, and for all kinds of self nurture.
This doesn’t have to be hard. Just give yourself the gift of things you know light you up, make you happy, get your toe tapping or deeply engage your brain/heart/curiosity.
You could spend time in nature, visit a book store or a craft store, watch a good movie or read a book. Take some time to visit a travel agent and get brochures to inspire your next trip. Check out your local library, plant store, farmers market, art gallery or museum. Go on a ferry ride, or hike to a lookout. Go to the city, or the coast, or out into the desert. Take a bus ride. Sign up for a class.
Maybe what will nourish your Soul Self is time in a temple or church or wilderness. Or maybe it could be joining a craft group, art group, or writers group. Pull cards for yourself, or give yourself some energy healing.
Go visit a friend, or a loved family member, or invite then to your place.
Learn something new. Make a playlist and dance in your lounge room.
Change the furniture around, or give things a clean and tidy. Eat the food YOU like, even if it’s not the food everyone else wants. Whatever you do, nourish yourself with the things that remind you who you are and what makes you feel more like yourself.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
Not sure where to start? Look back to younger versions of yourself (go back to childhood if you need to), and think about what you loved back then. Then do some of that! You could also check out the Lucky Dip section in my Planner for ideas.
Super stuck? Ask for help. Sometimes we just can’t do it on our own. And sometimes we just don’t know what to do or where to start. On the days when we’re wrung out and hanging on by our fingernails, there will be someone out there who cares and is in a place where they can extend that guidance and support to us. Asking for help is one of the greatest acts of kindness we can give ourselves.
Crystals to support you this week – Carnelian, Red Jasper, Tiger Eye, Citrine, Amethyst, Rhyolite
How have you been faring, this past week? Don’t be hard on yourself if you have felt exhausted, teary or apathetic. There are various energies slowing us down and affecting the energetically sensitive right now. Things will be on the upswing again by the middle of the week, so hang in there!
Here at the Treehouse I’ve had a bit of a time this past fortnight. My thyroid has been misbehaving, necessitating some emergency intervention, and I had to have a chunk of tissue taken out of my neck for a biopsy after my mole check doctor found a suspicious colourless mole with irregular and discoloured borders. (Yep, in Australia most people go to skin cancer clinics yearly to get their skin checked – we have the highest rate of skin cancer in the world, with 2 in 3 people being diagnosed with some form of skin cancer before their 70th birthday).
I recently had muscle biopsies done too, so now I’ve added dodgy mole biopsy to the list of results I’m waiting on. My strategy for all of this? Totally not thinking about it. I can’t change it, and worrying about won’t help and will only make me feel worse. If anything exciting and out of the norm is discovered, I’ll let you know. Honestly, after living with sub-par health my entire adult life I am used to rolling with not knowing, having issues, and waiting for diagnoses or treatment ideas. Same day, different shizzle…
In amidst all of that adventure I have been finishing the copy for next year’s Planner, working on materials for my Inner Circle, connecting with clients, and working on my book and oracle card deck. So, lots happening! All of which has been made possible by going to bed at 7.30pm each night and the occasional mid-afternoon nap. Honestly, the night I stayed up til 8pm felt so outrageously wild, and was counterbalanced by two nights where I was in bed by 6pm.
I have something lovely planned for this week, which is perfect given the energies ahead. The wide timber front steps at the treehouse were coming to the end of their useful life, so we have decided to replace them with stone ones. Imagine my delight when our wonderful stone mason found out I was into crystals, and suggested I could incorporate some of my collection into our staircase! Ben and I took several trips to our storage shed, and I also crawled all over the boxes of rocks I have here at home, looking for the right kinds of stones to use. They need to have a good hardness rating and can’t be the kind of stones that dissolve in water (like selenite and calcites) – so I am thinking clear, smoky, citrine and rose quartz, amethyst, jaspers, carnelian, labradorite, agates and green aventurine. And, of course, they need to be relatively flat or have a flat side. I have no idea how to put it all together yet, but I’m hoping that between the stone masons and myself inspiration will flow. Will post pics when it is all done.
In response to many of you reaching out to ask that I hold off on my 30 Day Challenge (based around my Journeymaker’s Planner 2024) until after Easter, I have decided to move it back for you. We’ll start in the last week of April, so there will be plenty of time to get ready as I ease you into the Challenge with some gentle and easy preparation activities.
I’ll post all the details next week! Stay tuned. It’s going to be a lot of fun.
Meanwhile, be gentle with yourself this week, and nourish your soul with things that are meaningful to you.
All my love, Nicole xx

Hope you get good answers from the biopsies
