Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the Sacred Earth Oracle by Toni Carmine Salerno and Leela J. Williams, illustrated by Helena Nelson-Reed, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is SPECIALISATION
2025 is a year for pattern breaking, deep healing, mysticism and new directions.
March is a month for aligning to your dreams, a time of opportunity, creativity and possibility. It’s a month that asks for action, commitment and the courage to make yourself, your needs and your projects a priority. April is a month for connection to heart and home, to finding the sacred in the ordinary, for focusing on what matters most to you.
SPECIALISATION
This week we are reminded of the importance of being ourselves, and of embracing our own unique talents, gifts and experiences.
We’re all sensitive souls here in my community. I know, you’re intuitive. I know you think differently to many of the people around you, and I also know you have often felt like a misfit. This week, you are encouraged to celebrate the things that make you uniquely YOU, and I want you to embrace those unique parts of you.
But…
I know this might be hard to do.
I know it, because I’m just like you.
As sensitive and empathic souls we’re really dialled in to what other people think and feel. So when someone we love and/or respect tells us that we laugh too loud, or that red doesn’t suit us, or that we should do something about our crooked teeth, or our wobbly tummy, we often take that advice to heart – and either seek to change ourselves, or to become ‘less offensive’ to the people around us. We do it to please them, or to manage the energies around us, to keep the peace, to be respectful, or to smooth out potential conflict.
Or, we do it because we have lost our way, lost our confidence, lost our self-trust, lost our sovereignty. So we let other people’s opinion become more important than our own.
All that does, my darlings, is dim our light. It makes us awkward. It gives us something to worry about.
People have happily succeeded in life, love and business with the exact same ‘problems’ you have. They just didn’t fret about them. Those ‘problems’ were part of their identity, or perhaps not even something they thought about at all.
So, in this current energy of thinking about what we want to change, what we want to end, and what we want to embrace, I am reminding you to ask yourself if the ‘problem’ really matters to you, or is it simply something that someone else has a problem with?
If it IS something you want to change, great, go do it!
But if it’s a low priority, if it’s something you can live with, if it’s something you actually LIKE about yourself (even if someone else doesn’t) then just do YOU. Be YOU. Embrace YOU.
Your life is your art.
Don’t be afraid to be original.
Don’t be afraid to be yourself.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
Our imagination exists for a reason and so do our longings – they create the sparks that make a trail of light through the darkened world, leading us to the things that will give us satisfaction, and for which our soul yearns.
Stop wishing and start acting this week. If there is no time for action then at least we can create a plan, we can make decisions, we can choose to make space in the near future for more of what matters in our lives.
Feel into your envies, your frustrations, your jealousies and your hungers this week. Don’t be ashamed of them. Don’t turn away. Be brave enough to look into the face of what they are showing you. Let your soul come alive with desire again. Unchain yourself from the humdrum of duty, obligation and routine. Allow possibility to slip into your heart and illuminate you with hope once more. Vow to yourself that your future can be different, and then make room for that to happen.

So, a new week has brought new Lyme drugs for me.
These ones make me nauseous, but I’m vomiting less, so that’s a win.
The downside, besides the nausea, night sweats, random intense stabby nerve pain, and vision problems, is horrendous anxiety. It’s a combination of the side effects of the drugs, inflammation in my brain, and bugs dying.
I keep reminding myself of that, and that I am a good person, and that my small efforts in the world and my writing are good enough. But that crippling doubt inside me is not easily silenced.
I think I preferred having my head in a bucket all day to a messed up head like this, but it’s only for a month, and then I go back to the drugs I was on first – the vomit ones, and I will be relieved to be there. I just need to get through April.
Meanwhile, one thing that has brought me constant joy in March is working on the 2026 Planner, and a book on journaling for beginners. I work in microbursts on these projects, but it’s amazing how consistent small efforts add up to considerable progress. 2026 will look and feel a lot different to 2025, and I’m loving pulling the words and information and graphics together to create something supportive and nourishing for you. I’ll share some sneak peaks here and on my socials in the coming months.
Thanks to those of you who recommended mashed potatoes. That has been a lifesaver for my nausea. That and soup. In fact, by the end of this hard road I think I may have been redeemed by soup.
Thanks for sticking with me as I travel through this long and arduous treatment journey.
Love, Gratitude and Hugs, Nicole xx
