“Be grounded. Be kind. Be brave.”
— Brené Brown
Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the The Witches’ Wisdom Tarot by Phyllis Curott, illustrated by Danielle Barlow, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 4 OF EARTH.
2026 is a profoundly intuitive and creative year, encouraging adaptability and flexibility, and new beginnings that are practical and sustainable.
February moves us gently out of reflection and into definition. After January’s pause, this month asks you to clarify who you are becoming — not through grand declarations, but through daily choices that nourish and sustain you. February is about strengthening your foundations, tending to your energy, and aligning your habits, boundaries, and commitments with what truly matters now. This is a month for building quiet confidence, choosing consistency over intensity, and allowing your sense of self to take shape through what you repeatedly return to and care for.
🌺Building Foundations to Last
There is a calm, steady energy moving through this week — one that invites you to slow your pace and pay attention to what you are actively building.
Not in a rushed or urgent way.
In a deliberate one.
This week is about foundations. About what makes you feel safe enough to breathe more deeply, think more clearly, and move through your days with less friction. It’s an invitation to notice where stability already exists in your life — and where it needs a little more care and reinforcement. Don’t let that be overwhelming. Instead, lean into the sense of relief that creating a different life can bring.
Rather than asking for expansion, this week’s energy asks for containment.
Where are you holding your energy wisely?
Where might you be leaking it — through overcommitment, distraction, or habits that no longer support who you’re becoming?
There’s a strong emphasis this week on practical sustainability. On managing your resources — time, money, energy, attention — in a way that supports long-term wellbeing rather than short-term reassurance. Use your discernment to help you choose well.
Choose what is steady or safe over what is flashy and may be an empty promise.
Choose what nourishes over what depletes.
There’s also a gentle reminder here about environment. About the spaces you inhabit — physically, emotionally, energetically. This is a good time to tend to your home, your workspace, or any place where you regularly return to yourself. Small acts of care matter: tidying, simplifying, creating a sense of order or ritual that signals safety to your nervous system.
Peace is something we intentionally create. Do that for yourself this week, right in the middle of the chaos and crazy all around you.
Progress may feel quiet now. Slow. Almost invisible. And that’s exactly the point. What’s being built now is meant to last. This is the kind of growth that reveals its strength over time. Small brick by small brick you can build a stable future. Do this with patient effort, consistent choices, and a willingness to value what you’ve already built, while gently refining it.
Within the broader monthly theme of Define Yourself, this week asks you to consider how your sense of identity is shaped by what you care for and protect. Not who you aspire to be someday — but who you are in practice, day after day.
There is wisdom in tending what is already here.
🌊 Journaling Prompt
Take a few quiet minutes with this question:
What in my life needs to be stabilised, protected, or nurtured so that I can move forward sustainably?
As you write, notice where your answers feel grounded rather than aspirational. Let practicality guide you.
🌟 Top Tip of the Week:
Choose one area of your life to simplify and strengthen.
That might mean:
-
reducing a commitment
-
creating a clearer boundary
-
organising something that’s been quietly draining you
-
or establishing a small, supportive routine you can realistically maintain
Stability isn’t something you wait for, it’s something you build — gently, patiently, and with care.
Crystals to support you this week – Moonstone, Sunstone, Red Jasper, Tiger Eye, Clear Quartz, Hematite
🌿Update from the Treehouse
I wanted to share a gentle update from the Treehouse, and first — to say thank you.
I’ve received so many messages of care, concern, love, and kindness, and I want you to know how deeply they’ve been felt. Please be reassured that I am well looked after. I have an excellent medical team supporting me, I’m responding well to new medications, and I’m surrounded by family and friends who are keeping a close, loving eye on me. I’m not facing any of this alone.
There has been some difficult news recently concerning my heart and sarcoidosis, and I won’t pretend that it hasn’t been a lot to take in. A week ago, I was sitting in shock — that stunned, suspended feeling where everything goes quiet for a moment. Where I had to cancel our international holiday plans for March. Where things suddenly felt so uncertain.
Today feels different.
I’m steadier now. Calmer. More anchored. I’m taking real comfort in my daily routines and in the quiet, deliberate care I’m offering myself. There’s something deeply stabilising about tending to the basics with intention — about choosing gentleness over urgency.
What’s been genuinely helpful has been beautifully simple.
My daily sit.
Rest.
Thoughtful meal planning and prep, so nourishment is always within reach even when energy isn’t.
Knowing there’s something easy and kind to eat when my body needs support.
My mala beads have been a particular comfort — active meditation, mantras moving through my hands, something tactile and grounding when my mind needs reassurance. And Rufous has been very close by my side, offering extra kisses, watchfulness, and that quiet, wordless loyalty animals give so effortlessly.
What continues to surprise me — and to give me hope — is this: again and again, I’m reminded of our capacity to absorb difficult news and face hard realities, and still find within ourselves a space of grace and resilience. When that inner ocean of calm grows large enough, nothing rocks you for very long. The waves still come, but they don’t overwhelm.
I’m tending my inner world with care — working with my planner, pulling a daily card, taking frequent small pauses for breathwork throughout the day. My moonstone has also been a quiet companion; it’s surprisingly reassuring just to hold it, a small anchor for the heart.
What feels most steady and trustworthy right now is the view from my bedroom window.
Grand old trees.
A wide, open sky.
The sun, clouds, stars, and moon tracking their familiar paths across the glass over twenty-four hours.
The world keeps spinning. And it’s so beautiful.
There’s a quiet truth I’m holding close at the moment, one I return to again and again when things wobble:
I can do hard things.
Whispered. Repeated. Anchored.
If you’re worried about me, please know this: all of us carry our own challenges. Living with chronic illness means this setback is one of many I’ve faced — and likely one of many I will face in the future. My body may not always behave the way I wish it would, but my heart is full, and my soul is steady.
And finally, what I want to leave you with is this:
We all need to give ourselves more space, more grace, and more nurture right now — and to extend it to others whenever we can. Everyone is carrying something. Everyone is tired.
Please know that I include you all in my daily meditations and prayers, and that I hold deep love and care for this community.
And one last, very practical note from the Treehouse:
Soup. Oh my goodness. Soup.
Pumpkin soup. Chicken soup. Noodle soup. Lentil soup.
Who knew it could be such a blessing?
With love from the Treehouse,
Nicole 🙏🏻💖😊
PS – Today is our wedding anniversary.
Ben has been my constant — steady, practical, kind, and quietly strong in all the ways that matter. Through the ups and downs of chronic illness and the ordinary complexities of life, he shows up every day with care, humour, and unwavering presence. I’m deeply grateful to be walking this life with him. Happy Anniversary, Darling Ben 💖🎉🥂
