“Nurses dispense comfort, compassion, and caring without even a prescription.” ~ Val Saintsbury
While I’m busy on bed rest just now I’m being very well looked after.
Harry and Rufous take turns to stay with me during the day.
Except for nap time, when we all bunk in together.
There’s no chance of me moving. I’m well secured to the bed by their heavy heads.
During the night they are there beside me every time I get up (which is lots due to my UTI still not resolved).
I feel very loved and cared for.
I still don’t seem to have much energy and tire after the simplest activities, but I can finally see some small improvements, so I’ll keep resting and following doctors’ orders.
June is a fabulous month for attending to our own wellbeing. I hope you’re carving out some time for yourselves too. Your health and happiness are important. Please don’t play second-best in your own life!
Biggest hugs and love to you all,
Nicole <3 xoxo
Ah, the magic of dogs…wonderful!
Blessings and prayers for healing to you, Ms. Nicole.
And a big hug for all of you, those with fur and without.
Sending warm thoughts your way. Your dogs are the best. Ticks are so bad in my area this year. In the last week I have been bit 6 times. They are so tiny they are hard to spot til they got you. The last one I practically had to dig out. I am almost afraid to go out in my beautiful yard. But I have to enjoy the summer and not be paranoid……jen
Doggies are the best medicine
You are always in my thoughts-sending you prayers for healing from the north.
Thanks for the update, Nic. Bert would be proud of how Harry & Rufus are carrying on his mantle 😀 Keep healing, dear girl xoxox
Rufous is so cute. Feel better soon. love and hugs(lots of hugs) Mary
They do good looking after you
You have my sympathy. UTI’s are the worst and to have one as long as you have had it, well, my heart goes out to you. I hope you are feeling a bit better every day.
🌞, love Paul
Ah, my two dogs are keeping me company on my bed in my recovery too. Feeling weak after a stint in the hospital and a couple of procedures. But happy for the tail waggers and those who love me and are taking care of me til I am well. Here’s hoisting a glass of carrot/apple juice for our healing.
Take care dear Nicole. Big hug and much love to you😘♥️🌈
Thinking of you Nicole. Get well soon. Kind regards, Rita
