“Have you ever heard the wonderful silence just before the dawn? Or the quiet and calm just as a storm ends? Or perhaps you know the silence when you haven’t the answer to a question you’ve been asked, or the hush of a country road at night, or the expectant pause of a room full of people when someone is just about to speak, or, most beautiful of all, the moment after the door closes and you’re alone in the whole house? Each one is different, you know, and all very beautiful if you listen carefully.”
~ Norton Juster, The Phantom Tollbooth
My Working with Intuition Retreat starts in just a few days, so I’m soaking up some quiet time, getting ready to enter that sacred space.
There is nothing like dawn, the ocean, clear skies and a little space to soothe the most restless of souls.
How about you? Can you find a little quiet time for your soul this week?
Thinking of you and sending much love, Nicole <3 xx
We have just had a whole week of essential quiet Nicole . We’ve been ambling down the canal on a narrow boat …bliss .
That beach is to die for …enjoy your retreat wish I was there .

Quiet time is wonderful time and we all need to have some quiet time
I always make time for quiet. First thing in the morning and again before sleep. Sometimes after a nap can also be very reflective. I require a lot of quiet time. Then I can balance it with time with others. Enjoy the retreat. I’m sure you will help your students a great deal.
My heart smiled reading your post and looking at the Byron Beach. Feeling the attraction pulling me towards there and gratefully yielding. And packing and trying to be organised!! 🙂
The Phantom Tollbooth, one of my favourite books. No quiet time the last couple of days it’s full speed around here, but have had some in the last week. So looking forward to your retreat.
Yes, and on the retreat it will be full speed for me, and go slow for you! 🙂 See you soon xx
