So, Here I am in Cebu!

“The life you have led doesn’t need to be the only life you have.”  ~ Anna Quindlen

This morning I was up so early that it seemed I had the entire place to myself.

Cebu. Philippines. Beautiful.

I did a sunrise meditation and sent you all some healing and love.

I swam in the ocean, and then later in a wide pool under the overhang of frangipani and palm trees.

And now, after a wholesome breakfast made even more delightful by the fact that I did not prepare it, nor have to clean up afterwards, I am spending an entire day on my own, with my Planner and my journal. This week – on the back of the solar eclipse and the supermoon New Moon is a perfect time for working with mindfulness to deliberately craft a life plan for yourself. (Need inspiration for that? Go read Living Forward by Michael Hyatt and Daniel Harkavy.)

There shall be thinking. There shall be planning. There will be naps and swims.

Did I say fabulous?

So glad I made the effort to be here.

Sending much love your way, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. Oooops, just reading last few blogs. Even more OMGOODNESS and happiness for you reaching this truly monumentous goal. To think that to cross the road on your own was something you once had trouble with and now look at you…..traveling…… Overseas on your own. You are a true hero and truly inspirational. Have a wonderful day Nicol. Make that golden hug bubbles coming you way 🔆🔆🔆

  2. OMGoodness Nicole, it has been a hug age since I last read your blog. I am so very excited for you and Ben. How wonderful it must be for you to be on a travel adventure…… and overseas in Cuba. Have an awesome and amazing time with your bestie Ben. Big hug and love bubbles to you both 🔆

  3. I took a look at the book you mentioned. I think I’m too far into retirement for most of those “get a direction” books. Then are never geared to us older folks. But I want a clear direction and hope for productive time that I have left. Who knows how long that will be? Right now I’m looking online for a meditation course that I can do on the laptop. I rarely have alone time anymore and don’t drive more than a couple of miles in good weather. Any obstacle can be overcome though. Your retreat looks heavenly. Enjoy every moment of someone else doing the cooking and the dishes. 🙂
