Don’t be afraid your life will end; be afraid that it will never begin.
Grace Hansen
Hey, Lovely,
Can I ask you a question?
I want to know one simple thing.
In your day, how much of that day is time for you?
Life is short, and there is no do-over. Every minute gone is a minute you’ll never get back. So, I need you to think about this – In your day, how much of that day is time for you?
Do you start your day with something for yourself? A quick meditation or a morning run, a few minutes journalling or taking a cup of tea in the garden? Do you leave a big chunk of time later in the day for a project or a hobby that you love?
Do you find that you look after everyone and everything else first but make time for you, your well-being and your dreams later?
Do you have grand intentions but by the end of the day you have no energy left, and you promise yourself you’ll get around to your own stuff tomorrow. (But you never do…)
Do you manage to squeeze in some time for yourself on a weekend?
Or do you not rate a mention in your own life at all?
Please, take a moment. Answer this truthfully.
I have sat at the deathbed of too many friends and loved ones, as they wept in my arms that their time was up and they had never really lived.
That doesn’t have to be you.
You matter. Your dreams matter. Your life matters.
Make time for yourself. If you don’t, who will?
Sending you love and gentle encouragement, Nicole xx
