Awakening to your Truth – Monday Oracle, 13 November 2017

Hello, Lovelies!

November is a month for knowing ourselves deeply, for healing old hurts and for prioritising and redesigning our lives so that they better represent the person we are and the person we want to become.

Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts which the oracle card Renewal brings us.

It’s a special week, this week. In the northern hemisphere on August 21 of this year there was a total solar eclipse. That momentary quietening of the sun’s energies allowed a ramping up of our intuition.

The eclipse also heralded an intense period of connection and integration – a period known as The Deepening, which supported us on our soul-awakening journey until today – the morning of November 13, when Venus joins Jupiter in our sky, creating an energy that thunderbolts us into a place of harmony, connection and expansion that has been previously unknown to us.

So now here we are, at the dawn of this week. Renewal shows us what’s in store for us.

As the deepening of our intuition stabilises, we find ourselves expanded somehow. We’re at the threshold of a new personal era. Our hidden hopes and dreams, our rich inner world, the absolute substance of who we are – these things can no longer be hidden inside us. This week we see that the richness we have held inside us for so long is beginning to stream from us in ever-strengthening rays of soul light, that will illuminate our path ahead, that will illuminate us to like-minded souls and to life’s possibilities and opportunities that are better matched to this inner self than to the old life we had been living. In essence, we can no longer live inauthentically, and even if we do, cracks will appear. The truth must come out. What has been hidden must be brought into the light.

Renewal shows us that our soul wisdom already knows what we are good at, what makes us happy, what is meaningful to us, what lights us up. All we have to do to navigate that is to tune in and trust our intuitive wise self. We’ll find clues everywhere about how to live a happier and more fulfilled life.

It’s our job now to act on these clues. We need to make choices and take actions that bring us into alignment with this inner world of ours, so that our inner world also becomes our outer world instead of living in schism – where who we are on the outside is often wildly different to that soul essence we hide away inside us, for fear that living as that person will destroy our life, make us unlovable, leave us judged and rejected.

Renewal gives us hope, and reminds us that it is always better to be true to ourselves. The Deepening has put us in touch with that self. Our only path now is to keep living and making changes that bring us further and further into alignment.

This week you’ll feel this urge for realignment in every cell of your body. Renewal reminds us that we’ll know where to focus first. We may need to embrace technology or finally act on our health situation, perhaps we need to set up an art corner or end a relationship or go sign up to a class. You’ll feel it as an idea inside you. When you think of that idea, even if it brings fear or worry as you imagine making space of this thing in your life, it will also make you feel lighter and better as you imagine yourself having or being that thing. That feeling of relief, lightness and hope is your compass. Use that to navigate the days ahead.

Supportive crystals this week?

Iolite illuminates your depths and helps you to see what’s hiding, and what you’re not seeing – a beautiful stone for boosting self-belief. It’s an unusual stone, but my pick for this week. Green Aventurine opens you out into possibility, tapping you into the joy of living and that wonderful feeling of gratitude. Any double-terminated crystal or cluster of crystals from the quartz family (think clear quartz, smoky, amethyst or citrine) placed in your workspace or the room where you spend most of your time will amplify these inner rays of soul-energy, helping you to recognise them and helping yourself and others to transform easily and with grace and joy. 

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Acceptance and Joy essential oil blends would be my picks for this week. Use Acceptance for emotional healing – diffusing anger and pain, ending procrastination and opening to new directions and opportunities. Joy opens our hearts and helps us to re-engage with the flow of life. It is uplifting, comforting and empowering. Dab a drop of either oil on your Crown Chakra, back of neck, wrists and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser. 

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this month, but they’ll also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Vetiver will calm and ground us, promoting emotional balance, Lavender keeps us in flow and relaxed,  Ylang Ylang opens our hearts and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, and Bergamot for joy, gratitude and optimism.  To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser.
