A Week For Wellbeing – Monday Oracle 27 February 2023

Take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live.
– Jim Rohn

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using Queen Of The Moon Oracle by Stacey Demarco for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 7. NOURISHMENT.

7. NOURISHMENT. When you think about where you live, you might think about your home, or your community, or even your country. This week you are reminded to zoom in a little closer because, although we often overlook this, the place you live starts with you living in your body.

This week, tune in and pay attention. Do you need to tweak the foods you eat, and start to make healthier choices? Do you need help with that in the form of a dietician, doctor, natural health practitioner or even a meal delivery service? Do you need to address patterns of emotional eating through some professional counselling? All of these actions are well supported now.

How about your body? Is it moving easily? Is there pain anywhere, or something that needs attending to? Schedule a check-up with your doctor, some bodywork, a trip to the dentist or optometrist. It’s a great week to start bringing in some extra movement. Think about setting up your yoga mat, or finding a great stretching routine online, going for a walk, dancing in the loungeroom for ten minutes, or heading back to the gym.

7. NOURISHMENT isn’t just about your body being well nourished. You also need to look after your mind, and your spirit. For your mind – can you read a book, listen to a podcast, learn something new or do some meditation or relaxation to cut down on your stress?

And for your soul? It’s time to follow your heart, connect to your curiosity or passion, and begin the activities or projects you long to do, but have procrastinated on (for whatever reason). Not for fame or glory, but because following your heart enriches your life and gives it shape and meaning.

Sing if you love to sing, even if you will never secure a recording deal or become a world-famous musician. Your thing could be baking or sewing or horses or writing or building things or growing roses. It might be collecting rare old books or working on your family tree or saving the wilderness.

Following your passions helps you to come alive. It might not be your current career – it might be your hobby. And that’s okay. What matters most is that you make room for these passions and spend time on them. Passions sometimes have a way of becoming your path. All you ever need to do is be open, and follow your heart. The rest is truly up to the magical synchronicities and miracles of the Universe.

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:

It’s a great week for getting help for any kind of addiction or self-sabotaging behaviour. It’s a week for setting clear boundaries and asking others to do their fair share. This week plan to let go of what doesn’t work – be that behaviours, mindsets, jobs, relationships or social situations. It’s not about putting yourself above others. You simply need to make yourself and your needs equal. You may be surprised to find that other people will accept your choice to step back from an over-giving situation.

Be brave this week. Make those changes. Have those conversations. Stand up for yourself. Get the help you need. It will be worth it!

My week last week was a quiet one – and not just because I was minimising speaking (cos partially dislocated jaw – but thanks for asking, it’s feeling a bit better!).

I spent lots of time writing, and planning, and catching up on admin.

I also spent time ferrying family members to medical appointments, and going to my own.

In between, I played in the kitchen. I made soups and smoothies and all kinds of soft food, including a delicious spinach and feta pie (I’ll post the recipe this week). Rufie is cheese mad, and was so hopeful I might drop a molecule or two on the floor, or even be clumsy enough to drop the whole pie on its way to the oven. I love how my dogs are always available to be clean-up crew. Do yours do that too?

Here at the treehouse you can feel the first chill in the air come evening. Autumn is letting us know she is approaching, but I hope we get a few more bright hot days first for beach time and pool swims.

Back to a busy week of clients and membership webinars for me. Keep your fingers crossed I get that beach time too.
Love, hugs, naughty dogs, and an excellent collection of beach towels, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
