That’s the thing with handmade items. They still have the person’s mark on them,
and when you hold them, you feel less alone.

Hey, Lovelies.
I’ve been busily wrapping orders, writing notes and taking things to the Post Office Each day in between clients and medical appointments. I’ve also been finding time to make batches of fudge, rum balls, Christmas cakes and preserves to give as gifts to the people who have supported our family though the year – neighbours, the post office staff, my medical team, our fruit shop and butcher, our favourite cafes, and market stall holders. Simple gifts, but filled with love and good wishes.
And in my own mail box have been similar gifts. Lovelies from my lovelies.
I have been the grateful recipient of homemade blueberry and cardamom jam, peach chutney, rum balls, fudge, Italian style panforte, white Christmas, and nutty things that are absolutely delicious.
I’ve also received hand-knitted face washers, bath salts, a special rock from Greenland, and a little hand-sewn fabric bag to hold a card deck and a rock.
Even some of the Christmas cards were handmade. And many came in recycled and repurposed mailers. Wonderful!
Do you love receiving these kinds of things too? Or are you one of the people who makes and shares them?
Little things, given with much heart – they mean the world to me.
I feel perfectly spoiled and nourished, and so so loved.
I want you to feel this happy and well-loved too, so I’ve created a quick little discount for you in my Etsy Shop from now until the end of this weekend (offer finishes 18 December). Use the link below to get 20% off EVERYTHING in my Etsy Shop.
