Watching Your Thoughts And Choosing To Change

Change your thoughts, change your life.
Jeanette Coron
Hey, Lovelies.
As we are moving through the tail end of this energetic shift I have a little advice for you.
Watch your thoughts.
Then pause.
Don’t act. Don’t do anything! Just pause for a second.
Ask yourself if these thoughts serve you, and if they are elevating you to the person you want to become. Will these thoughts lead to self-talk and actions that will move you away from old patterns and towards better ones?
If not, choose new thoughts. Allow for new behaviours.
Twice yesterday I found myself about to offer to commit to something that would benefit another person at the expense of myself. Twice I pulled myself up, paused in the conversation, and then chose to move in a different direction. The conversations were still positive. They still ended well. But I didn’t end up with more responsibility on my plate. And that felt good!
Change comes from our conscious choices, and our mindfulness of our everyday thoughts and actions. Change can’t happen if we stay on automatic pilot in our lives.
You’ve got this!
I’m cheering you on, Nicole xx
Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. This week I started a new habit (at least I hope it will become a habit to me) and began each new morning with positive affirmations. I have trouble meditating but want to do something to uplift my mindset. And I’m planning to end my days with giving thanks. Because I really want some positive change in my life and I know I first have to remove all blockages in my self before. It all starts within me. But the old patterns are strong, I have them since my childhood. Wish me mindfulness and persistance.
