The Little Road Trip

Roads were made for journeys, not destinations.

~ Confucius

Hey, Lovelies.

It has been the longest time since Ben and I went anywhere. COVID, my health, family things. Our last holiday or even overnight trip together was the end of 2019. Wow!

But on Thursday we’re taking a short road trip. Just a few days. A little time to catch up with friends, a few little jobs that need doing, a meeting to attend, and most importantly some time together, on our own, away from home.

A friend will housesit and take care of the pupsters, and we’ll be home again on Sunday.

Still, I’m excited. And out of practice. I used to have an overnight bag and toiletries bag ready to go, and with no notice I’d be ready for adventure. Now, I don’t even know where my bag is, or if I even have a toiletries bag. It doesn’t matter. I’ll figure it out.

Two more sleeps and we’ll be on our way. Yes, I’m counting. Did I mention I was excited?
Love, hugs and the start of a quest to find something to pack my gear into, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
