A Little Bit Of Magic – Monday Oracle 15 May 2023

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using Angels and Ancestors Oracle Cards by Kyle Gray, with artwork by Lily Moses, for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is FATHER SKY – Trust in the Unknown. 

2023 is a year for change, creating solid foundations, and for spiritual journeying. It’s a year for personal growth, and for clarifying who you are, what you want, and why you are here.

FATHER SKY – Trust in the Unknown

May is a month for loving our wounds, healing and releasing what is broken, finding the blessings or wisdom from our wounds, and moving on. It’ a time for radical self-acceptance, forgiveness and compassion for self and others.

I spoke with a friend about her business direction and her life path on the weekend. She is a wise and passionate woman, and right now she’s going through a major life change. Coincidentally, or not, she’s also waking up spiritually.

One thing in particular stayed with me long after our conversation was finished. At one point, her voice trembling a little, she told me about something that happened to her recently. She had spoken aloud to the Universe, a few weeks after her husband had left her, and she was standing alone in her garden under the night sky. This is what she said…

I stood there, and I said, ‘My life doesn’t make sense anymore. So just show me what I am supposed to do – show me why I’m here. I’m ready. Okay?’

That sentence was a plea and a prayer all rolled into one.

I felt a thrill of recognition at my friend’s words, and I understood that her sincere declaration had already put events in motion that, one day soon, will show up as answers in her life. I knew that because that’s how things happened for me, when I’d asked something similar.

Have you ever found yourself in that space? That asking space where you know you have a purpose, you feel you are here for a reason, and your brain can’t make sense of it even though your heart is urging you forward?

I have.

Many years ago, shortly before I moved to the Kimberley and experienced my psychic awakening I had felt that calling in every cell of my body, but I didn’t know what it meant. I only knew that I could no longer ignore it.

One night I stood outside in the moonlight on Fraser Island where I was then living, I looked up into the sky and I surrendered. I gave up the plans I’d been hauling around in my head because I knew they didn’t fit who I was becoming. Instead I said  ‘Use me. Use my life. Use my talents and gifts. Work through me. Whatever it is, I’ll honour that. Just show me.’ 

I didn’t get an answer that night. But for the first time in a long time I went to bed feeling calm and centered.

Somewhere in the cosmos came the whir of gears and the opening and closing of doors, and soon enough I found myself on a new path, with a clear purpose – it’s one I’ve been living ever since.

If you ever find yourself in that same space, that asking space, don’t be afraid. Wait until you feel it with your whole heart, surrender yourself to that space and put your question out into the universe. Know that it will be answered. Know that once called, you will be claimed. I encourage you to do this. I know that it works.

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead: 

Every morning when I wake up, before I get out of bed, before I pray or meditate, before I do anything else at all, I say a little affirmation. In fact, sometimes I will chant it like a mantra. In my head, or if I really need the energy boost, out loud. I have three favourites to choose from, and all of them have been life changing for me. Three short and simple sentences that can change your life too.

Let me share them with you:

1. Something wonderful will happen to me today.
2. Every day in every way I am getting better and better.
3. I am stronger than this.

I have been spending a lot of time in the company of fairies, old trees, enormous rocks, and my mountain recently. The weather has suddenly become cold and windy, and it has rained a little or a lot every day – perfect for snuggling up, resting, contemplating, and embracing the grounded energy around our treehouse.

There is something so comforting about massive old rocks embedded in the ground, and deep-rooted trees with huge trunks. They help me to find my calm, and to slow me down when my head threatens to overtake the rest of me.

I’m still working through a huge meditation project with my Inner Circle membership, and between the world around me, beneath me, and above me, as I meditate I have found deep peace often in this past week.

I may have also bought Ben a massive Lego Lighthouse, complete with a revolving lamp. It will look fantastic with my pirate ship, and I can see us having lots of fun – both with the assembly, and playing with the completed projects! I decided that it’s never too late to play with Lego. When they’re all done I’ll be sure to post pics for you.
