Veil after veil of thin dusky gauze is lifted, and by degrees the forms and colours of things are restored to them, and we watch the dawn remaking the world in its antique pattern.Oscar Wilde
This is the view from my treehouse office, just before dawn.
Later, the place explodes into colour and I am surrounded by green. But, just as dawn begins, everything is in silhouette and the trees become backlit with the softest light from the rising sun or the setting moon.
All of this transition takes place in silence.
Before the birds begin their calls.
Before day truly replaces night as the ruling energy.
I am usually finished my meditation by this time, and it has become my pleasure to sit and enjoy this moment of complete silence, peace and beauty.
Then I make a mug of tea, write in my journal, and plan my day.
There is so much wonder around us, if only we slow down enough to truly see.
Hugs, love and deep peace, Nicole xx
