Have A Little Rest – Monday Oracle 27 December 2021

Most of the things we need to be most fully alive never come in busyness. They grow in rest.

Mark Buchanan

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using the Nature’s Whispers Oracle Cards by Angela Hartfield, with artwork by Josephine Wall, for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 13 – RENEWAL OF PEACE. This week we are reminded of the restorative powers of rest.

december 26

RENEWAL OF PEACE encourages us to restore ourselves with sleep, rest and relaxation.

So? Rest, rest and rest some more. Rest and reconnect. Do whatever you need to in order to replenish and recharge.

It’s also a week for the kind of contemplation that leads to decisions.

It’s a beautiful week for looking at the year ahead, and consciously choosing to live your life in ways that will be more supportive, sustainable and emotionally satisfying. Think about where you want to create more stability and security in your life. Make a mindful decision to focus on these areas in the year ahead. (Need help with that? My Journeymaker’s Planner helps you map out and work with major projects and life goals. Details on where to buy it are at the bottom of the page.) No need to start on anything yet – just think about it, and decide on some goals for 2022.

You may feel a new sense of yourself beginning to emerge. Trust that! The new year brings possibilities for change, and you’re ready.

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:

Pay attention to the feelings and ideas you have in the week ahead. There is powerful energy around to help guide you in reshaping your life for the coming year.

Stuck with creating a satisfying life for yourself or understanding your best direction forward? Maybe you need a session with me to bring some extra clarity and direction. Details here

I had a lovely few days away from my desk.

On Christmas Eve, after I got my final ETSY orders to the post, we cleaned the house, and prepped a delicious Christmas Day lunch.

Christmas day was a rainy, gentle kind of day. We had an excellent playlist, yummy lunch, family and pupsters and togetherness.

After which I napped the rest of the day away and enjoyed an early night.

Boxing Day is always a big deal in our house. It’s a day of left-overs (so good!), cricket, and the start of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. I come from a sailing family, so it’s always exciting to follow this epic ocean race. It was also a day of naps, and reading bits of my new books. Ben and the dogs really came through for me in the book department this year – hooray!!!

As I do every Christmas, I set up an Altar, but this time I created two. My first was a private space, filled with memories of loved ones who have passed over, or that were unable to join us. The second one I did so that all of you could be included at my table.

I placed an Australian raw clear quartz crystal, and offered a prayer and did a meditation that it represent all of my community and clients who needed a safe and welcoming space for them to be with others at Christmas. I invited all of you to join me energetically at our family table. I did this so that you may feel loved and included, and less alone. I then did a second round of prayers and meditation using a blue-black obsidian orb – where I called upon the Unnamed Angels to support and protect you, and to guide you through the coming days – helping you with whatever is troubling you, and wherever you need guidance, inspiration or miracles.

I will leave communal Altar this set up until Tuesday, February 1, and I will add to it over time, as a space to manifest positive energy and support for us all for the year ahead. Stay tuned for more ways that you can be involved, if that feels right for you.

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
