So called ‘late-bloomers’ get a bad rap. Sometimes the people with the greatest potential often take the longest to find their path because their sensitivity is a double edged sword- it lives at the heart of their brilliance, but it also makes them more susceptible to life’s pains. Good thing we aren’t being penalized for handing in our purpose late. The soul doesn’t know a thing about deadlines.

Hey, Lovelies.
This is a shout-out to those of you who are being squashed by the feeling that you should be there already – that by now you should know what you want, be successful, have made your mark or done your thing or be the top of your field. This is a shout-out to everyone who feels that it’s too late for them. That they have somehow missed the boat…
My friend, not everyone peaks early, and thank goodness for that.
Late bloomers bring gifts of life experience, of battles survived, and resilience and persistence made, of personal journeys towards wisdom. Late bloomers bring compassion and understanding that cannot have taken root in those who have not yet known hardship, loss or struggle.
Maybe you’re one of those people for whom life will be segmented into chapters – one chapter for each major phase of your life. Until now you’ve been busy doing other things; it wasn’t your time for this, and so your chapter hasn’t begun yet, or is only just starting now.
Today, I want to encourage you.
If you’re still alive, it’s not too late. In fact, it’s possible that you’re on track for perfect timing. Of course, there is one thing though – once you have an idea about what it is? You need to start!
Much love, and the sound of me cheering you on, Nicole xx

What if there is no Purpose?
What a frkn relief.
I loved this post! It’s so true. Everyone develops on their own time scale.
Thank you Nicole 🙌🏼 I’m 40 and still say I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but a new chapter is unfolding for me and it feels good xx
