Good things take time; that is why seeds persevere through rocks and dirt to bloom.

This Quarter I am using Queen Of The Moon Oracle by Stacey Demarco for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 5. GROWTH.
5. GROWTH. 2023 is a year for change, creating solid foundations, and for spiritual journeying. It’s a year for personal growth, and for clarifying who you are, what you want, and why you are here.
This week encourages you to give your life some thought. Taking time out to think about your current and future goals and direction, and having these kinds of conversations with your partner, children or in the workplace is also well supported.
It’s also a week where you will no longer be able to ignore things that need to change within you. Do you need to prioritise health and wellbeing? Do you need to rest more, or get more active? Is there something you are ignoring or putting off that really does need your attention?
It may be a difficult week for some. Are you outgrowing a job or relationship? Do you want to change direction? Is something no longer working, or perhaps are you no longer prepared to allow a certain situation to continue?
Expect clarity this week, even if that means dramatic new ideas and realisations. Know too, that if you want to change, you can do that in your own time. No need to rush. Change can be strategic, and done in a way that supports you and your goals and wellbeing.
This week’s energies give you the push you need to create change, and to act on your insights. Sure, there might be some short-term discomfort – change often does that, but the rewards will be worth it!
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
This week we’re reminded that our imagination exists for a reason and so do our longings. They create the sparks that make a trail of light through the darkened world, leading us to the things that will give us satisfaction, and for which our soul yearns.
We are encouraged to stop wishing and start acting this week. If there is no time for action then at least we can create a plan, we can make decisions, we can choose to make space in the near future for more of what matters in our lives.
Feel into your envies, your frustrations, your jealousies and your hungers this week. Don’t be ashamed of them. Don’t turn away. Be brave enough to look into the face of what they are showing you. Let your soul come alive with desire again. Unchain yourself from the humdrum of duty, obligation and routine. Allow possibility to slip into your heart and illuminate you with hope once more. Vow to yourself that your future can be different, and then make room for that to happen.
Stuck with creating a satisfying life for yourself or understanding your best direction forward? Maybe you need a session with me to bring some extra clarity and direction. Details here

My partially dislocated jaw is slowly improving. I have gone from mush and liquids to soft foods but I have to say, I am surprised at how many ‘soft foods’ are actually quite tough to chew! I am fantasizing over crunchy apples, nuts, raw carrots and celery sticks. One day soon, hopefully.
Ben and I have also started discussing holidays and travel plans. I still have, and probably will always have a weak immune system, and be in a higher-risk group for COVID, flu and other infections, but we have got a serious itch to go travelling again this year. It’s been over three years since we had a vacation, and over four since we had a relaxing holiday. We’re well overdue. Surely we can work out a way to minimise risk and get some serious relaxing and culture infusion done. Not sure where we’ll go, and we are always open to your suggestions – so if you have any good ideas, let us know in the comments.
In other news the 2024 Planner is shaping up nicely (yes, there will be stickers!), and this week is a writing and product development week for me, which I am looking forward to immensely.
Did you see my post about the Spinach and Feta Pie on the weekend? Please let me know if you found the downloadable recipe useful. If so, we will be sure to include them with all of my future recipes. (I have a cracker of an apple pie recipe to share with you soon, that I invented last week to use up the last of the filo pastry from the Spinach and Feta Pie. I swear it is the best apple pie I have ever made. I might need to make it again though, because we were so eager to demolish it that I didn’t get very good pictures of the finished product the night I served it, and Ben ate the leftovers before I could use those!)
Okay, I am off for an early morning ocean swim and then breakfast with Ben before I start a day of writing.
Love, hugs, cold water and hot tea, Nicole xx
