Just One Suitcase

You must go on adventures to find out where you belong.

Sue Fitzmaurice

Hey, Lovelies.
Just one more sleep and then I’ll be on my way to stay in a hotel in a much-loved capital city in another part of Australia where I will hole up in a hotel and spend two weeks wresting a messy manuscript into some kind of flow.

I haven’t packed anything but tea, book stuff and health stuff so far, and my suitcase is nearly full. Hopefully I will be able to jam a few clothes in on top! I do need to make a concerted effort here. Just ask my students. I have a pretty good track record of packing for my retreats and completely forgetting to take clothes and toiletries, and then needing to call Ben to urgently bring me supplies.

My backpack will be filled with laptops and chargers and microphones and pencil cases and other vital things like my portable grid and the grab-bag of sacred tools I always take with me that are too precious to put in my luggage.

Today I will be sensible, and I will check the weather for my destination, and rustle up a few outfits, pjs, footwear and a toothbrush.

Still, I am sure they have shops where I am going. And when you are sitting in a hotel room you don’t need anything flash. Comfort will rule!

Wish me packing luck, much love, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. I love your packing Nicole. When I read the headline, the first word that came to me was books! May your time away be fruitful and rich. Love Nikki πŸ™‚
