To BE a Seeker is a glorious thing

“There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you, and there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.”
~ Lemony Snicket, Horseradish: Bitter Truths You Can’t Avoid

We’re under the influence of a Seeker’s Moon right now. For those of us who hear this call, we find ourselves wandering – looking for a deeper truth. Looking for a clearer meaning in our lives.

Often, the Seeker is impatient. They’ve been on the road so long and they wonder AM I EVER GOING TO FIND MY THING?

Yes. Always, if we keep seeking eventually we will find.

But that’s not what I want to talk about today.

Instead I want to talk about the journey…

Stop panicking that you are running out of time.

Stop worrying if you are looking in the right place.

To be a Seeker is a glorious occupation.

Take a moment and look around. THIS matters too. Not just the seeking, but the journey.

The journey itself matters. The fact that you have left home to go wandering in search of meaning.

It is a brave and wondrous thing to be a Seeker.

Let yourself move from a space of frenetic desperation to a mood of quiet serenity.

Know that it’s the quest that matters, that intention in your heart to become more than which you currently are.

Slow down. Allow yourself the luxury of enjoying the journey. Revel in the fact that you are a Seeker who is walking out into the world in order to find themselves, or some truth of the Universe.

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
