“Balance is not something you find, it’s something you create.

Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the The Rooted Woman Oracle by Sharon Blackie, illustrated by Hannah Willow, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is THE SACRED MARRIAGE.
2025 is a year for pattern breaking, deep healing, mysticism and new directions.
July energies are all about healing yourself; body, mind and spirit. It’s time to make yourself a priority, and to attend to whatever is needed for your healing journey. July is also a month of heightened energetic sensitivity and intuition.
💫 Monday Oracle: The Sacred Marriage
Theme: Coming Home to Yourself
This week’s card, The Sacred Marriage, arrives like a quiet blessing – a reminder that harmony, health, and wholeness begin within.
In this month where our focus is on healing, this beautiful energy supports deep restoration, gentle reclamation, and a return to what truly nourishes you.
So many of us are running on empty… overgiving, overdoing, or simply overwhelmed. And in that state, it’s easy to lose touch with ourselves – our joy, our creativity, our body’s needs, our soul’s whispers.
But The Sacred Marriage is here to guide us back.
💛 This Week, It’s Time To:
-
Reclaim time and space for yourself – even ten sacred minutes can shift your energy
-
Tend to your body’s needs with kindness (Think: water, sleep, nourishing food, fresh air)
-
Gently restore harmony in your relationships by first restoring it in your own heart
-
Listen to your emotions without judgment – they’re showing you what wants to heal
-
Reignite your creativity in small but meaningful ways (a doodle, a garden stroll, a favourite playlist)
Whether you’re single, partnered, healing from love, or opening to it again, The Sacred Marriage reminds us that your relationship with yourself is the foundation of everything else.
And for those in romantic relationships, this week may bring breakthroughs, emotional clarity, or a gentle knowing about what needs to shift. Sometimes it’s healing together. Sometimes it’s healing as you choose a new path. Either way, let love – not fear – lead the way.
🌿 And don’t forget: Nature is the great harmoniser. Let her help you. Touch the earth, sit in the sunlight, listen to the birds. Let the wild world remind you of your own inner peace.
💖 This week is not about pushing. It’s about allowing.
Let yourself be loved. Let yourself rest. Let yourself return home to your own heart.
There is healing waiting in stillness, sweetness, and simple daily acts of devotion to your wellbeing.
You are worthy of that.
🖋 Journal Prompts:
-
What feels out of balance in my life right now?
-
What would harmony feel like in my body, my heart, my home?
-
What do I need to restore that balance, one gentle step at a time?
🌟 Top Tip of the Week:
Balance is a love language.
This week, gift yourself one simple thing your soul has been asking for—more sleep, a slower morning, a boundary that says “not today,” or a few moments of creative expression. Small actions make a big difference when they’re rooted in self-respect.

Well, we’re home after our wonderful time away. The Viking exhibition was deeply though-provoking, and I find myself still thinking about that era of history. (Also, there were many cute Lego scenes which made me want Viking Lego – who knew that’s a thing?) We spent quality time with family and friends, and ate an incredible array of good food. Adelaide certainly is a foodie paradise. On the home front, Rufie Dog was well looked after and the house-sitter was fantastic.
I start my new drug regime today, and with that comes a very restricted diet again, so I am grateful I got to indulge in all the foods I love that are now banned – cheese, wheat, legumes, eggs, coffee, sugar, fruit, carbs, eggplants and tomatoes and an endless list of other fun things.
My suitcase from our trip is still sitting on the bedroom floor, waiting for the magical cleaning fairies to come unpack it. They have not been very motivated thus far…
My headspace is altogether more average than I would have liked. I’d hoped that being off the heavy-duty drugs would give me a lift of energy and feel-good, which never quite happened, and it’s been hard to steel myself for this next round of treatment. I’m so very tired, and it all feels a bit insurmountable, but hard stuff always does, doesn’t it, when you’re in the thick of it?
In happy news, our 2026 Planner has just come off the printing presses and hand-assembly lines, and it looks AMAZING so I’ll be busy this week trying to work out where I will be shipping it – we’re still not certain on what will happen with our American distribution because our planners are printed in China and there is so much tariff uncertainty. But I guess we’ll figure it out. If you have any good ideas, let me know.
Meanwhile, I am going to see how I settle in to my new drugs this week. I have everything crossed that this round will be efficient in killing Lyme bugs and sarcoidosis, but not in killing me. Wish me luck!
Eternal optimism and a good grind of pragmatism, Nicole xx

Another damn good post, yeah I don’t wat doe the unpacking fairies, I do it myself, although my sister who just saw me type this said I am the unpacking fairy.
I hope all goes well with the new drugs and the restricted diet
Hang in there Nicole! I am including you in my meditations & sending positive energy! You always inspire me with your strength & love!🤗💖
So true! Balance is key 💫
