“You do not have to know exactly what is happening, or exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope.”
— Thomas Merton
Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the The Witches’ Wisdom Tarot by Phyllis Curott, illustrated by Danielle Barlow, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is Goddess of Water and its reminder to allow ourselves to be supported and made safe.
2026 is a profoundly intuitive and creative year, encouraging adaptability and flexibility, and new beginnings that are practical and sustainable.
March shifts the focus from definition into expression. After February’s work of clarifying what matters, this month invites you to begin living those choices more visibly and courageously in your everyday life. March is a time of movement, creativity, and gentle expansion – where the habits, boundaries, and priorities you’ve been shaping start to find their natural rhythm in the world around you. Rather than striving for perfection, this month encourages participation: taking small steps, following curiosity, trusting your intuition, and allowing momentum to grow through action. What you nourish and sustain now begins to show its shape, not through force, but through the quiet confidence of living in alignment with who you are becoming.
🌺This Week’s Guidance
This week invites you into a deeper kind of surrender.
Not the kind that comes from giving up, but the kind that comes from trusting that you do not have to hold everything alone, nor do everything all at once.
There are seasons in life when we push forward with effort and determination, and there are seasons when the Universe invites healing for us – providing space, softness, and the willingness to be supported.
This is one of those weeks.
You may find that your body, your emotions, or your circumstances are asking you to slow down and allow yourself to be cared for in ways you might normally resist. Let yourself rest where you are held safely. Let yourself breathe where the world feels gentler.
Healing often happens quietly beneath the surface, in the spaces where we stop trying to fix everything and simply allow the natural intelligence of life to move through us.
Water teaches us this lesson beautifully.
Water flows where it is needed. It nourishes, restores, and reshapes what it touches through persistence and presence rather than through force.
In the same way, this week carries strong currents of intuitive and creative energy. If you allow yourself the time and emotional space to soften into that flow, you may find that ideas begin to arrive easily. Creative projects can deepen or begin. New inspirations may appear almost effortlessly.
Pay attention to what feels alive in your imagination.
Writing, painting, music, dreaming, designing, planning — whatever your form of creativity may be, this is an unusually fertile time to listen to it.
Instead of pushing yourself to produce results, approach creativity with curiosity. Allow yourself to play with ideas. Let the process guide you rather than forcing a particular outcome.
Sometimes our most powerful work begins when we stop trying to control the current and simply let ourselves float within it.
This week asks you to trust that instinct.
Allow yourself to be held by the people who love you, by the spaces that comfort you, and by the creative currents that are moving quietly through your life.
There is wisdom in softness.
And there is extraordinary power in allowing yourself to be restored.
📖Journaling Prompt
Where in my life am I trying to hold everything alone, and what might change if I allowed myself to be supported instead?
🌟 Top Tip of the Week:
Create a small pocket of creative space this week.
Turn off distractions, take a few slow breaths, and spend even fifteen minutes doing something imaginative or intuitive. Don’t worry about results — simply follow what feels interesting.
Creative flow often begins the moment we give ourselves permission to start.

And speaking of allowing life to unfold gently, here’s a small glimpse of what’s happening here at the Treehouse this week…
🌿A note from the Treehouse
Life here is very much about keeping things simple right now.
Behind the scenes I’ve been deep in the process of preparing my magical realism manuscript for the next step — researching agents, refining my query letter, and polishing the synopsis. I’ll confess that this part of the journey is taking far longer than I imagined it would. Writing the book itself felt like the easy part compared to learning how to present it properly to the publishing world.
Still, it’s good work, and important work, and I’m slowly finding my way through it.
On Sunday we did something that felt wonderfully grounding. We planted a black mulberry tree in the garden.
It was my favourite tree at our old farm, and I’ve missed those deep purple berries more than I expected. The nursery had a beautiful young tree, and we found a cleared patch in our jungle-like tropical garden where it now lives.
There is a very real possibility that this may turn out to be a slightly optimistic decision. With the number of flying foxes we have here, it’s entirely possible that most of the fruit will end up as airborne “poo bombs” rather than making its way into our kitchen.
Still… the chance of harvesting even a handful of those lush berries again felt worth the gamble.
Small acts of hope are important things.
You may also notice that I’m a little quieter than usual in the coming week. Life is asking my attention closer to home right now, and I’m honouring that by keeping my world small and my priorities clear.
One place where you will continue to hear from me, though, is over on Substack. I’ve begun sharing more personal and reflective writing there under the name Still Here, and it’s becoming a space where I can write a little more freely and directly with readers.
Find me here: Still Here – on Substack
The blog and the Monday Oracle will absolutely continue here as always — this space is still very much home — but Substack has opened a lovely new channel for longer, more personal pieces.
And speaking of timing, some of you have asked about the sale I mentioned recently. It hasn’t happened yet — life had other plans for my attention — and I’ve decided to wait a little longer before launching it properly. The right moment will come.
For now, I’m following the guidance of this week’s message and allowing things to unfold in their own time.
The mulberry tree is planted.
The manuscript is slowly taking shape for its next journey.
And life here at the Treehouse continues quietly, one day at a time.
Sending love to you wherever you are.

PS – It seems to be a season of soup in my life just now. I’m good with that. Soup is nourishing on so many levels. If you’d like my easy and delicious pumpkin soup recipe you can find it here!
