The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea.
This is one of my favourite quotes, and I find it to be true.
Everything that has been hard in my life has been helped by tears, or sweat, or the ocean. They are good coping skills to have in your toolkit. And we all need those kinds of toolkits, especially as empaths, intuitives and highly sensitive souls.
Today I’m grateful for the beach being so close to the treehouse, and for being able to walk and swim as methods for coping with my emotions, especially on the days when I feel swamped. Nothing cleanses my mind or restores my spirit like a dip in the sea.
