“Indecision is a decision.”
— Unknown
Hello, Lovelies!
For this quarter, I’ll be working with This Might Hurt Tarot by Isabella Rotman – a bold, honest, and deeply compassionate deck that doesn’t shy away from truth, but holds it with warmth, humour, and a fierce belief in your ability to grow through whatever life is asking of you.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is the Seven of Cups – joyful, collaborative, and uplifting, inviting connection, shared celebration, and creative flow.
2026 is a profoundly intuitive and creative year, encouraging adaptability, flexibility, and new beginnings that are both practical and sustainable.
April Energies
April continues to ask you to stand firmly in your own energy — to trust your inner compass, meet your own needs, and shape your life from the inside out.
But with that growing sense of self-sovereignty can come an unexpected side effect:
choice.
When you begin listening to yourself more deeply, you start to see possibilities you may have ignored before. Paths open. Ideas multiply. Options expand.
And while that is a sign of growth, it can also feel overwhelming.
This month is not only for recognising what’s possible.
It’s also about choosing what matters most — and committing to it.
🌿This Week’s Guidance
The Seven of Cups arrives with a familiar feeling:
Too many options.
Too many ideas.
Too many “maybes.”
And not enough clarity about what to do next.
This card speaks to that moment where everything feels possible — and because of that, nothing quite gets chosen.
You might find yourself:
- overthinking
- second-guessing
- starting things but not finishing them
- waiting for certainty that never quite arrives
That’s a very human response to having options.
But this week brings a clear message:
Choose something. And stick with it.
Because the truth is, clarity doesn’t come from thinking.
It comes from action.
Life is opening doors for you right now. Your attention is the key.
Aren’t you ready to do things differently, or to lean into something that you love or have dreamed about for a long time?
There is also a deeper layer to this card.
The Seven of Cups asks:
Do you actually know what you want?
Not what you should want.
Not what looks good from the outside.
Not what other people expect of you.
But what you want.
Because when you are clear on that, the overwhelm begins to fall away.
The options don’t disappear — but they stop pulling at you in every direction.
This week is about moving out of:
👉 hesitation
👉 distraction
👉 endless possibility
and into:
👉 decision
👉 commitment
👉 forward motion
You don’t need the perfect choice.
You just need a real one.
And once you’ve made it?
Stay with it.
Let it unfold.
Let it grow.
Let it teach you something.
Sticking with this choice might be the thing that ultimately changes your life.
📖Journaling Prompt
What am I avoiding choosing right now — and what would it look like to commit to it, even imperfectly?
🌟 Top Tip of the Week:
Pick one thing.
Just one.
And give it your attention for the week.
You are not stuck because you lack options.
You are stuck because you haven’t chosen one.

🌿A note from the Treehouse
This week, something shifted.
Not in my circumstances — those are still complex, still demanding, still requiring careful navigation.
But in me.
I chose something.
And I stayed with it.
I made a decision to prioritise my writing — not as something I would get to if there was time left over at the end of everything else, but as something that matters enough to come first.
And the result?
The words came.
It took me two weeks to write my first 10,000 words.
And then on Sunday morning I more than doubled that in a single sitting. It felt like something unlocked, because I stopped waiting for the perfect conditions, and wrote first. In the middle of all the chaos.
I stopped asking, “Do I have time?”
And started saying, “This matters. I’m doing it anyway.”
Here’s what happened when I did that. The moment I chose — really chose — the overwhelm softened. All those competing demands, ideas, and possibilities that usually pull at me from every direction… they quietened. They hadn’t disappeared, but because I stayed focused on my writing, everything else fell away for a while and there was space to think about my book.
That doesn’t mean everything else is suddenly easy.
My health is still challenging.
Life is still full.
There are still many things asking for my attention.
But there is also now this strong, steady current running through my days.
Writing.
Returning to my stories.
Building something that matters to me, one piece at a time.
If this idea of building something slowly — even in the middle of a full, messy life — speaks to you, I wrote more about that over on Substack. It’s about returning to a long-held creative dream and learning to build something meaningful out of the fragments of time and energy I have available.
You can read it here:
Building Something Out of Fragments
So, if you’ve been circling something lately…
If you’ve been caught in that place of too many options, too many thoughts, too many “what ifs”…
Let this be your gentle nudge.
You don’t need to figure everything out.
You just need to choose something — and stay with it long enough for it to come alive.
Because sometimes, the thing that feels stuck is just waiting for your commitment.
With love from the Treehouse,
Nicole xx 🌿
PS: while we’re talking about things I’ve been working on behind the scenes…
I’ve quietly adjusted all of my prices across Etsy and Amazon — everything has come down — to make my work more accessible right now.
If you’ve been thinking about picking up a planner, a resource, or something to support your journey, this might be a lovely time to do that.
No pressure at all — just a gentle nudge if it feels right for you.
