Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using the Queen Of The Sun Oracle by Stacey Demarco, illustrated by Kinga Britschigi, for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 12. POWER (QUEEN OF THE SUN).

2024 is a year for fresh starts, for creativity, healing and social connection. It’s a year for ambitious projects and for getting stuff done.

December is a month for dancing with the Universe, for letting your hair down, relaxing, celebrating, connecting, daydreaming about the future, and tuning in to your wise self. A good time to tie up loose ends. Rest and retreat where needed.

12. POWER (QUEEN OF THE SUN)

It’s a week for honouring your essence, your inner knowing, and for letting that knowledge guide you. Queen Of The Sun encourages you to tune out everything and everyone outside you, and tune in to your own rich inner wisdom.

If you’re into Chakras, think of this week as massively supportive of your Solar Plexus Chakra. The Solar Plexus Chakra is located at your belly button, and it is bright yellow in colour. It’s the place where your sense of self-identity resides. It is where your personal power, integrity and self-esteem are anchored. It’s the ‘I AM’ centre of your body. The Solar Plexus Chakra holds an inspiring and empowering energy for you to work with, especially when you are making decisions about your life direction, and what is best for you.

It’s a week for getting clear about how you feel, about what you want and don’t want. The kind of clarity that precedes action. The kind of clarity that requires courage. It’s a week rich with ideas, inspiration and opportunities to innovate and problem-solve.

This week you are reminded that clarity and empowerment is within you. All you need to do is slow down, breathe deeply, get quiet, and tune back in to yourself.

Then?
Act from your position of self-authority. Think about what you truly want and don’t want, and let that inform your decisions now. Don’t let others dictate your life – choose for yourself!

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:

This week make decisions that feel right for you, rather than choosing things that make you uncomfortable in order to make others feel happy, or to prevent their judgement or anger. Please yourself instead. Put your own happiness and wellbeing first – even if that means saying no to others. Instead, say YES to yourself!

In the middle of posting off dozens and dozens of parcels this week, I received one in return which reduced me to tears.

It was a humble and heart-felt gift, send from a friend – a small Christmas cake, wrapped in foil and a new cotton handkerchief, then carefully placed in a recycled cardboard box, and wrapped with brown paper, string and love.

I had only just reflected that morning that it was the first time in over thirty years that I had not made my usual Christmas cakes – for the family, and as gifts to loved ones. I’ve been too unwell, and have used my precious energy in other ways. In another first I haven’t even put up the Christmas Tree and other seasonal decorations I usually love so much.

And then here comes this little Christmas cake from a friend, and suddenly I remembered that the Universe is benevolent, and everything will be okay, even if this Christmas looks different to those of years gone by.

I’ll be honest. I’ve struggled at times this past week. I’m still not feeling great, and my voice isn’t recovering as fast as I had hoped after my recent bout of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome and then my bronchoscopy which have left my voice hoarse and prone to running out after three or four hours of use. This new diagnoses of sarcoidosis hasn’t helped either as the tumours in my lung also make me wheeze and cough. It’s a bit of a drag but my team and I are onto it with supplements, drugs and an anti-inflammatory diet. I just need to give it all time to take effect.

So, I’m pacing myself as I work with clients and my Inner Circle community, I’m pacing myself as I wrap orders and write love letters ready to post out to you all, and I am in bed early every night. No partying at my house, that’s for sure!

Overall I’m slowly better than I was, so I’ll do my best to be patient as my recovery continues. Our office will be closed from midday 19 December 2024 and reopen on Monday January 6, so apart from looking after Etsy orders and running a few webinars for my Inner Circle and Journeymakers, I’ll be able to put my feet up and have a decent rest soon, which I am very much looking forward to.

My new Planner is calling to me, as I finish up the year in my current one. I love being able to use both of them in that crossover period at the end of a year and the beginning of a new one.
