“All you have to do is contemplate a simple grain of sand, and you will see in it all the marvels of creation. Listen to your heart. It knows all things, because it came from the Soul of the World, and it will one day return there.” The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

There is a reason my blog is called Cauldrons and Cupcakes…
Today is much more about Cauldrons.

So this weekend I’ll be teaching an eager bunch of students some Modern Alchemy…
Spagyricsics is the ancient Alchemical art of taking the Essence of Something and turning it into an Elixir. Homeopathy, naturopathy, herbalism, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) all owe a lot to this ancient art, which created the foundations by which remedies are created. You can also see Alchemy at work in things like Bach Flower Remedies and Australia’s own Bush Flower Essences. We’ll be starting with a simple foundation today, and making a few hand-crafted Single Essence Elixirs.
And of course there shall be food. No one can work or think on an empty stomach, so I’ve prepared lots of delicious organic treats and a yummy lunch.
I’m so excited – it’s going to be so much fun. 😀
Wishing you a wonderful weekend too, with just a sprinkle of magic! ♥ xx

PS. One of my students sent me this pic this morning, and it’s so cute I had to include it. After all, what’s a good Cauldron without a little Witchy?

love the mini witch
Happy brewing today. Give that cauldron a good workout. xxx
Have lotsa fun today…a little part of me is feeling sad that I won’t be there…but I’m learning you ‘get what you need’. XXX
Good luck with your workshop! Sounds exciting.
I’ve never heard of spyragics before, you do lead a most interesting life! I hope your workshop goes swimmingly, will you be dressing up like the young lady in the last picture? I think that would be splendid. 🙂
Lorna, I look like that all the time… 😉 xx
