“Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!” ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Hello, Lovelies 🙂
February is here! Let me share some observations about the energy of the month ahead, as well as a few suggestions for embracing all that February has to offer.
Cards for the Month:
I’ve chosen two cards for February for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s The Enchanted Map. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.
Here is what I have received from each card:
“Bran thought about it. ‘Can a man still be brave if he’s afraid?’
‘That is the only time a man can be brave,’ his father told him.”
~ George R.R. Martin
February is our month for bold moves.
We’re being asked to make big decisions, to start things, to end things, to speak our truth. To ask for what we need. To put our suggestions forward. To commit time and energy to our dreams. To begin to make the changes.
It’s not a month for planning – it’s a month for action. It’s a fabulous energy for committing to our passion.
Don’t have a passion yet? February is calling you to choose a path and follow it, even if the only passion you feel is to no longer be where you’ve been stuck for so long. When you’re not where you need to be, and you don’t know where you’re going yet, any road will do. You can always adjust your course later.
What have you been putting off? February dares you to do that thing.
Even small decisions or actions can be life-changing.
Know that in making these choices and creating these changes, you will be changed. Things will start to fall away even as you begin to gather new things to you. That’s okay. It’s time.
“What, then, is to be done? To make the best of what is in our power, and take the rest as it occurs.”~ Epictetus
The second card I’ve chosen reminds you of the power you have in your own life. Intention speaks of the power of your thoughts and of the momentum that comes from commitment and action.
It is important to have a vision for your life – for you to consciously co-create this precious life you are living, rather than simply letting life make the choices for you. When you make a wish from your heart, and then begin to make steps towards fulfilling that wish and turning it into reality, the Universe supports you at every turn. Synchronicities occur. Magic happens. And yes, often that means hard work too…
Intention also reminds you to focus.
Multiple projects and multi-tasking doesn’t work. Not only that, when you have several open-ended projects on the go, nothing EVER gets finished.
When you don’t get things finished, no matter HOW HARD you are working, you begin to feel like you aren’t doing enough. You feel like there is never enough time, and that pushes you into panic and overwhelm.
Choose one thing. Work steadily. Start from where you are.
Know that most things require time, and you may not get your outcome in the season of your first efforts. Trust your intuition and keep going!
Best crystals this month? Amethyst and Bloodstone. Bloodstone lends courage, stamina and strength. It’s a fabulous stone for decision-making, and for supporting bold actions. Amethyst will keep you tuned into your intuition and higher guidance, and is a wonderful tool for calling in Universal Support for any kind of life-change.
Essential oils to support your journey? Try diffusing two drops of Rosemary, two drops of Orange and two drops of Lavender. Or use any of the oils individually. Young Living’s Clarity blend is also fabulous. You can find the oils here.

Thanks for a great post..

I reached a point where my life-long dream was to “have normality/a routine” (of any sort). After many times where plans were sent askew, with me almost purposely avoiding planning due to said askewness (or kicked in the a%$ for it), am re-learning to allow myself to make plans and trust in dreams and visions again.
Yes thank you a lot, coming here is one of the high lights of my day, just saying
Thank you Nicole. Wonderful reminder to me to pick one thing even if its not my true passion and start. xx
Much love xx

Jacq, often when we make a start knowing it is not our true passion it leads us to that door anyway! Love to you too xx
Thank you for this post… oddly enough, both cards apply to my current situation. My fiancee literally lost his job on Friday, so your cards give me hope that perhaps better things are on the horizon for us. I told him that, but it helps to have it bolstered by an outside source. 🙂
PS – it’s been quite a while since I’ve visited, but I am so happy to see you are still here! (Apparently not everyone is as horrible of a blogger as I am, lol)
