Blinding ignorance does mislead us. O! Wretched mortals, open your eyes!

Hi, Lovelies.
During a channelling session at my recent retreat, a simple but powerful message was delivered to us.
Focus on what matters.
Don’t focus on how a message is delivered, or the looks of the person who is delivering the message. Don’t get caught up in smokescreens, diversions, trivialities.
Focus on what matters.
We have been looking at the wrong things. We have been thinking about the wrong things. We have been worrying about the wrong things.
We are consumed by reality TV and Instagram while the world’s forests burn.
We are distracted by Facebook and Twitter while the oceans choke with plastic.
We endlessly discuss the antics of the politicians instead of their actual policies.
We worry about our looks, our likes, our profiles, our material success.
We’ve been focusing on the wrong things.

What matters is our relationships with each other, our relationship with the planet, our capacity to live a good life – one that is characterised by health, connection, community and creativity. What matters is a world with clean air, clean water, clean food, and abundant wildlife.
Don’t look away.
The planet needs us.
We need this planet.
There is no Plan B.
And only us to turn this whole mess around.

Yet, there is no need to be fearful.
Good things ARE happening. There are many people devoted to finding solutions, innovations and to bringing about change.
Some people are already focused on what matters. More and more are joining them every day. Change is coming.
Be part of that change. Use the power of your choices, the power of your vote, the power of your dollar. Focus on what matters.
Hold positive energy in your heart. Live from love and compassion. Have gratitude. Take action. Do what you can do, and a little more.
Much love to you, Nicole xx

I completely agree.Nev Hyman from nevhouse.com is turning co mingled plastics into sustainable housing for developing and third world countries. He has a real tangible solution for the waste. Do you think he is able to gain support of governments and big business? No, It is a great idea, but there is a difference between thinking and executing. I agree people (esp governments) need to have a plan for the waste and get going with it. I hope Nev is able to gain the support he needs to make the world a better place.
Such a powerful message.
Thank you for all the wonderful work that you do
Fabulous. It’s just the message we all need to get. Despair achieves nothing. Planting even a single tree whilst giving acknowledgment to the Earth can be part of the healing process. She’s crying out for help. 🌳
Lovely post to remind us what we can do to help our planet, how we can support those who have the power to make policy changes. At times I feel so overwhelmed, watching Sir David Attenborough’s recent show ‘Climate Crisis’, I actually cried. I’m doing what I can & one of my children the other day called me ‘The Eco Warrior Seamstress’. I’m doing my bit and I’m going to do more where I can. Bless you for this timely sharing of what truly matters!
