This Quarter I am using The Light Seer’s Tarot by Chris-Anne for my weekly oracle readings.

0. THE FOOL reminds you that this a week for rewriting history, for taking a stand, for opening yourself to new possibilities, to bigger dreams, to innovations and opportunities.
You are encouraged to dream of better things for yourself and your life.
This is a week of gentle beginnings. It’s a week where tender new growth can emerge, fledgling ideas can be birthed, and what has been planted or wounded can begin to emerge in a new form.
On a personal level you are encouraged to pay attention to your health. Do you need more sleep? Is it time to change your diet? Would you benefit from a period of detoxification, or from beginning to move your body more? Is there a health check or procedure you have been putting off? Could you work with a therapist or practitioner for body, mind or spirit to bring healing and rebalance? 0. THE FOOL suggests that you attend to these things, beginning now.
On a wider scale 0. THE FOOL reminds us that life consists of many cycles. After acts of destruction, damage, wounding, trauma, death or desecration there will come a time when life returns, when hope returns, when movement and flow and beginnings become possible again.
It’s a time for creativity, for opportunity, for luck and for good fortune.
It’s also a week for taking back personal responsibility and holding yourself accountable for making change happen. Yep, that might feel odd if you haven’t sat in that space for a while, or if you’ve become used to letting everyone walk over you or take care of you. But ultimately to be able to trust yourself and your ability to look after your own needs will be empowering.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
The wise and intuitive part of you can become inspired with a vision or calling this week, and that can lead you to create something new in the world.
You don’t need to be special to be chosen.
You get your calling, or your inspiration, simply because you are here. Simply because you are alive, and present on the planet right now. You have talents and gifts and experiences unique to you. The Universe (you can see that as God, your Soul, Divine Spark or whatever feels right for you) can only work THROUGH you. You are the vehicle for that Universal expression. So when an idea comes as a sudden flash of insight, or if you have an idea that has been banging around in your head, or your heart, and won’t let you go – know that you are being called to express that Higher Vision.

I did two remarkable things in this past week. The first was that I actually took time off to rest in the busiest part of my year. The second is that I was able to do a couple of long walks at a good pace without totally dying afterwards. It has been a long time since I had any kind of physical stamina, so I am quietly excited at my slow progress forwards.
We’ve been heading to the beach most mornings, even when it has been bleak and rainy, and eighteen months into living here on the Sunshine Coast I can happily report that we still love it, and it absolutely feels like home.
We still don’t have our barbeque installed, but my new oven turned up and is sitting in a massive box in the garage, so that feels like progress. Fingers crossed that at least one will be ready to go in the next few weeks. Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to going to be with a few cookbooks this week, to start planning out a Christmas Day lunch for family. We’re all in the mood for something a bit different this year, and I am eternally optimistic that I will have a fully functioning barbeque to cook on.
