Letting Go and Moving On – Monday Oracle 5 February 2024

Accept yourself, love yourself, and keep moving forward.

If you want to fly, you have to give up what weighs you down.
― Roy T. Bennett

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using Wishcraft Oracle by Stacey Demarco, with artwork by Elizabeth Tiethoff, for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to welcome in the New Year and guide us for the week ahead is 17. FREEZE IT

2024 is a year for fresh starts, for creativity, healing and social connection. It’s a year for ambitious projects and for getting stuff done.

February is a month for shaking things up, and doing life differently. After all, if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you always got. Invite positive change and inspiration by making new choices.

17. FREEZE IT

The energies this week support a gentle letting go of the things that have been weighing us down.

There doesn’t need to be a struggle or a big dramatic scene. In fact, the very best kind of letting go is one where we decide to let something go with grace and ease.

Letting go lightens us energetically. It feels good to let go of the things have burdened us. Whatever it is that is dragging you down, keeping you stuck or sad or sick, be prepared to let go this week. Decide you don’t need to keep thinking about your ex anymore. Decide to stop smoking and then do it. No need to make a big fuss. No need for big declarations or public posts about your decision. Just decide, make a plan, act.

Decide that you don’t need to keep eating food that makes you feel bloated and tired. Then stick to it today. Repeat again tomorrow. And if you mess up forgive yourself and then keep going. Decide that you’re going to sing or write or paint or dance just because you want to. Decide to clear your clutter. Decide to let go of thinking you have to do everything yourself.

Decide that you don’t need to stay in a bad relationship. Decide that you don’t need to stay in a lousy job. Decide that you don’t need another family Christmas where everyone ends up fighting. Decide to get a cleaner. Decide to get your tax done. Decide to see the doctor.

Letting go is an act of empowerment. And when we let go, and remain empty for a while, better things come and fill the void we have created, because as we lighten our energy from the letting go, things of a lower vibration will no longer be in alignment and we’ll stop attracting them. Letting go in one area often brings opportunities, miracles and advancement in another.

Most importantly, choose positive thoughts and a positive mindset. Not that awful toxic positivity where you deny your own feelings and reality. Instead choose to believe that you are worthy of more, worthy of better, worthy of second chances, and that change is possible for you.

This week, lighten up by letting go!

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:

Take some time to get out into nature – a walk or even sitting at a cafe or an open window or doorway drinking in the weather. Stop thinking about yourself, and let yourself be comforted and supported by the elements – the sun, the night sky, a breeze or the rain, the moon, the heat, the cold, the sound of birds or crickets or cicadas. Breathe it all in. Let it calm you. Then, when you come back to yourself, take three centering breaths and ask yourself What is it time to let go of? and pay attention to what comes up. Act on that information.

Crystals to support you this week – Carnelian, Tiger Eye, Smoky Quartz, Moss Agate, Opal, Pearls and Shells

I’m still floating around in the ocean, making happy memories with Ben. By now we will have celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary on board the ship. It was fun, back at home when we were packing, to choose an outfit to wear to a special dinner. We don’t often make a fuss but this year it felt right to do things differently.

And in a few days (all things going to plan) we will be in New Zealand, catching up with friends in Christchurch for lunch on shore.

I’m hoping by now to have done some significant napping, sunbathing, swimming, and lots of writing. Most of all, it matters that I am away with Ben, just the two of us, having this much needed break together and away from the world for a while.

I have my Mandala colouring book and pencils with me, and my Planner and cards. A little bag of crystals (yeah, I took more than one!), my journal, and the writing gear I took to Adelaide last year when I was finishing the first draft of a novel. So I expect I will be playing with those too.

Are you working with my Journeymaker’s Planner this year? It’s a fabulous tool for getting clear, for supporting yourself and creating an intuitive, meaningful and sustainable life. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t started yet. It’s not too late.

If you head over to Amazon Australia and Amazon USA and look for the coupons you’ll find one for 35% off my Journeymaker’s Planner 2024. There’s also free shipping for Amazon Prime members.

Over at my Etsy store you can grab a discounted digital copy of my Planner and my Manifesting Mandalas book and course too – but no physical product orders from me until I get back home in late February.

If you purchase the Planner or the Manifesting Mandala Colouring Book and online course you will also be eligible to watch the replay of my recent Masterclasses. (You can find details about that here.)

Know that even though I’m away from home right now I am continuing to hold you in my daily prayers and meditations. Meditation as a daily ritual is so engrained in me now that I can’t do a day without it, and it nourishes me as much as breathing.

Sending love across the waves!

Afternoon drinks, suntan lotion, proper tea (cos I took my own!) and sleep-ins, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
