2024 is a year for fresh starts, for creativity, healing and social connection. It’s a year for ambitious projects and for getting stuff done.
January is a month for taking stock of your current position, for dreaming, for making plans and for creating solid beginnings towards the things you want. February is a month for shaking things up, and doing life differently. After all, if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you always got. Invite positive change and inspiration by making new choices.
27. SEND A LETTER TO THE UNIVERSE
Most of us hold a secret dream inside us. Perhaps you want to walk the Camino, or visit Scotland, or eat pasta in Italy. Maybe you want to learn the cello, or paint in watercolours, or dance a fabulous tango. Or you might want to get your pilot’s licence, start a business, write a book, or become a successful real estate agent or interior designer. Maybe you want to solve part of the current climate crisis problem, improve conditions for the elderly, rehabilitate injured wildlife, or start your own non-profit to do some good in the world. Maybe you just want more time to yourself, a good long rest, or a vacation.
No matter what it is, this week’s energies invite you to dream without limitation. A dream for yourself, a dream for the world, or both.
The Universe is always here to support your dreams, but it requires two things from you:
1. That you declare your dream.
2. That you take steps towards it.
It might be a long time since you allowed yourself to dream. You might have shut down the possibility of anything changing in your life a long time ago.
This week, reconsider.
Allow yourself the luxury of a second chance. Dream a little. Invite possibility into your life. Whisper your dream to the Universe, or write it down in your journal (which is kind of the same thing…). And then, (in the smallest possible way if this seems challenging for you) believe that this dream can still happen.
It is dreamers who change the world!
I believe in you and your dreams.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
Did you have a dream you put aside because you, or someone you know, talked you out of it? Dust it off. You were given that dream for a reason.
Keep your eyes firmly focused on what you want to achieve. There’s no need to rush. No need to get yourself all worked up. Instead, move steadily toward your goals by working out what your first or next steps can be. Beginning to plan is a start, so make a tiny start. One of the greatest healing gifts we can give ourselves is to commit to a dream.

As you are reading this I am in the middle of the ocean, and the middle of my vacation.
And yes, I pre-wrote this post before I left, so that I could truly relax into my holiday and not have a lift a finger to do any kind of work at all.
