Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the Sacred Earth Oracle by Toni Carmine Salerno and Leela J. Williams, illustrated by Helena Nelson-Reed, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is REPETITION.
2025 is a year for pattern breaking, deep healing, mysticism and new directions.
January is a month for identifying opportunities for healing, for taking time for relationships and social connections, and for planning your hopes, dreams and goals for the year ahead.
REPETITION
This week’s energies bring a strong message of encouragement for week ahead, as you move towards the threshold of the Lunar new year, and under the lasting influence of the recent Full Moon in Cancer, which supports you to take steps towards your dreams, turning your imaginings into action. Right now it’s time to shake off the past, to embrace new beginnings, and to think about HOW to achieve your goals, rather than being fixated on WHEN you might achieve them.
Who do you want to be? How do you want your life to look? How do you want to feel? What kind of relationships do you want more of?
What’s missing?
Did you have a dream you put aside because you, or someone you know, talked you out of it? Dust it off. You were given that dream for a reason.
Dreams are built out of action. So, what habits will support you yo get there?
Keep your eyes firmly focused on what you want to achieve. There’s no need to rush. No need to get yourself all worked up. Instead, move steadily toward your goals, using the power of habits to propel you.
It’s a great week for making longer-term plans, and for reviewing old ones to see if they are still relevant or if you need to update them or change them. It’s also a great week for pivoting, for throwing all your old plans out the window, and for simplifying things down to the core things you truly care about.
Above all, the repetition of habits will work magic for you this year – so start by identifying and then enacting them.
You may also get a glimpse this week of a positive outcome or opportunity that is coming up in your near future. Hang in there, and keep the faith. Things are changing, and the energies are supportive, creative and abundant for the days ahead. There is so much creativity in the air.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
Don’t let where you are right now limit your capacity to create a dream for your future. Use your imagination to explore your possibilities and stay open to the magic of the Universe.

My habit last year was to drink more water. I’ve become much more consistent with that but I am still flagging it for repeating in 2025 because I still sometimes drink less than my body needs.
My new habit for 2025? Daily writing, or some form of work (editing, plotting, thinking, agonising – they are all valid) on my current personal writing projects.
I may still miss a day here or there – we’re all human and life can get messy, but making something so important a daily habit means it will stay at top of mind.

If you are, then I have a special message for you. TAKE YOUR TIME. We’re in the Lull right now, and there is no urgency with anything. Work at your own pace. There’s no rush. I have now completed my 2024 review yet, I’m mostly done with a deep dive on my 10 card spread, and I still need to flesh out my Project for the year. That’s okay. It’s okay for you too!
My meeting with my doctors on Tuesday was okay – not great, but okay. My sarcoidosis has progressed, so it was decided I would start earlier than planned on my new drug regime.
Let’s just say that it hasn’t been fun. But I am very grateful to have treatment available to me.
So, this will be an interesting year as I roll on and off strong drug combinations and chemo. But I am ready for it. (Some of you might remember my last big Lyme treatment regime over ten years ago. It nearly killed me. But gee, it gave me back so much. That’s my plan again this year.)
We can all do hard things, especially when the end goal is an important one.
My other good habits I know will support me right now?
- meditation
- anti-inflammatory diet
- sleep
- low stress
- lots of time for my soul work
- nature
- hugs
- a little bit of play and fun
- stories – reading them, watching them, listening to them
What do you already do (often or sometimes) that you know would support you well this year? Doing those things more regularly is a great way to invoke positive healing and pattern breaking for yourself in 2025.

Habits both good and bad happen over time changing them isn’t easy but it is possible with some effort
My new habit: positive affirmations in the morning to create a new mindset. Pattern breaking is much needed in my life. I just can’ t go on like I did the last 20 years. I want to become an optimist. I want a good life. I want to be happy. I want to be able to flow with life, to receive good things and embrace change. To feel worthy. To start anew.
Your health programme sounds terribly tough, I hope it will help and you will recover. I really miss your blog posts and your daily inspiration.
