Rise Like The Phoenix – Monday Oracle 22 September 2025

“The best way to predict the future is to invent it.”

~ Alan Kay

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using the The Rooted Woman Oracle by Sharon Blackie, illustrated by Hannah Willow, for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 8 – THE FALL

2025 is a year for pattern breaking, deep healing, mysticism and new directions.

September energies are all about Healing Your Broken Path – reclaiming your gifts, dreams and deeper truth, embracing your own style and direction, and trusting in yourself and the Universe.

🔥 Monday Oracle: Rise Like the Phoenix

This week brings us into the heart of Phoenix energy — the fire, the fall, and the rising.

It’s not always comfortable. In fact, these are big, confronting energies. You may feel like you’re being asked to walk straight through the fire — to face your fears, to risk failing, to finally do the thing you’ve been avoiding.

But here’s the truth: when you pass through the fire, you don’t come out smaller. You come out purified. Stronger. More aligned with the future that is waiting for you.

🌿 The Fire of Transformation

This week, you may find yourself at a point of choice. Do you keep doing what feels safe — even if it keeps you stuck? Or do you take a risk, make a change, and step into the unknown?

Phoenix energy tells us: yes, you may stumble. You may fall. But you may also fly. And the only way to find out is to be brave enough to step forward.

✨ Healing Your Broken Path

In a month dedicated to Healing Your Broken Path, this week invites you to sit with your hopes and dreams. What is calling you? What vision of a better life refuses to leave you alone?

To create that life, you may need to:

  • Make tough choices

  • Release what no longer serves

  • Face your deepest fears

  • Choose action over procrastination

It’s not easy work. But it is sacred work. And you are strong enough for it.

🌙 Practical Ways to Work With Phoenix Energy

  • Journal about the dream that feels most important right now. What small action could you take toward it this week?

  • Notice where fear has been holding you back. Write it down, and then write the opposite: the possibility that excites you.

  • Do one brave thing this week — even if it’s tiny. Courage grows with practice.

  • Support your body with grounding food, rest, and stillness — transformation asks a lot of your energy.

💫 Reflection Prompt

What fear is standing between me and the life I want — and what is one small step I can take this week to move through it?

✨ Closing Thought

The Phoenix does not rise by avoiding the fire. It rises by moving through it.

This week, trust yourself. Trust your vision. Trust the process of burning away what no longer serves, so that you can rise stronger, freer, and more aligned with the life you dream of.

I’m cheering you on every step of the way. 💛

🌟 Top Tip of the Week:

Do one brave thing.
This week, Phoenix energy asks you to face your fear and take one step — no matter how small — toward the life you dream of. Write that email, sign up for the class, say no to what drains you, or say yes to what lights you up. Courage grows each time you act, and every small choice builds momentum for transformation.

I’m writing my blog post this week from my secret writing lair, and I am pleased to report that things are going well. I’ve got the bones of my story ready for the final rewrite, and this morning I’ll be going into the Cone of Silence to get those new words down onto the page.

I really love this story and my cranky and sarcastic protagonist Dave, with his hidden tender heart, and his journey to find love and meaning. I’ve also been re-listening to Steven King’s excellent memoir On Writing, narrated by the author, and it has given me so many nuggets of gold as I edit my own manuscript.

When I’m not working I’ve been drinking excellent decaf coffee and finding lots of new little places to eat. I’ve never been much for white linen tablecloths and fine dining. Give me a packed low-key mainstay restaurant with dodgy tables and chairs and tragic minimal decor, where the food is king, and I’m right there! I’ve had the pleasure of eating in a number of those kinds of establishments in the past week, as well as a few newer places with awesome eats. There’s so much pleasure to be taken in a quick meal with friends, and a break from the screen or the too-big ideas running around in my head that need time to sort themselves out while I sip tea or slurp noodles.

I also have a new Instagram account with the same name – and I’ll be using both accounts to share more about my writing journey and to support you with your own growth through journal prompts, magical insights and practical self-help tips.

Okay, back to it for me. This book won’t finish itself.
I’m sending every encouragement to you for the week ahead. Ride this energy and put it to good use. Love you! Nicole xx

PS – Here’s some slurpy noodles for you…

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
