Want To Join Us For A Tea Party?

“Come, let us have some tea and continue to talk about happy things.” ~ Chaim Potok

So, Trish, my lovely new PA and I went out to lunch at a Tea House near us on Wednesday. It was wonderful to sit and chat, sip tea and nibble on yummy savoury and sweet delights.

Which got us to dreaming.

The last time I ran a High Tea and Mini-Workshop event in Brisbane was a few years ago now, and we’re long overdue to host another one.

What do you think?

Would you be interested to join us for tea, treats, companionship, some fairy magic, card reading, crystals, colouring and craft? We’re contemplating a Saturday in June.

Let us know in the comments below, or shoot us an email to nicolecodyinfo@gmail.com so we can keep you in the loop!

The Fairy and the Bandicoot

“Sensitive people care when the world doesn’t because we understand waiting to be rescued and no one shows up. We have rescued ourselves, so many times that we have become self taught in the art of compassion for those forgotten.”
~ Shannon L. Alder

I planned to sleep in a little this morning. After my four am meditation I crept back under the covers and nestled in, intending at least another two hours sleep.

I woke suddenly. Hurry up, she’s DROWNING! yelled a little voice in my ear. Sokli, my fairy friend, was insistent.

Disoriented and a little confused I got out of bed. I’d been asleep for twenty minutes. Everyone else was sleeping still on this cool, grey Saturday morning.

Come on, come ON! urged Sokli.

The next minute I was hurrying up to our swimming pool, which is in the middle of the paddock that is our farm’s back yard. I opened the gate and let myself in and there she was, swimming feebly around the edge of the pool. A bandicoot.

I used the net to scoop her out, and then placed her gently on the grass. She shook herself like a dog, tiny beads of water flying everywhere, and then she pressed her nose to my bare foot as if it say thank you, and darted off under the fence.

Sokli often wakes me up to help an animal, or a person we know who’s in trouble. She’s become a dear friend and companion and we work well together as a team. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that as an adult I would be talking to a fairy, or that I would channel her wisdoms to share with my students and workshop groups. I never thought it possible that fairies existed until I met her. I mean, really, I’m psychic, I talk to fairies, I have Lyme disease – as my sister often points out, none of these things exist. Not in Australia, anyway (especially the Lyme disease bit!).

Still, the bandicoot is safe and now I’m wide awake. I’ll make a cup of tea and go sit on the verandah for a while til everyone wakes up. It brings to mind one of my favourite quotes from Alice in Wonderland.

Wishing you the strength to believe in impossible things too,
lots of love, Nicole ❤ xx

A Flower Oracle For Fairy Blessings and Guidance

“People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us.”
Iris Murdoch

Flowers are a precious gift from nature.  Their colour, fragrance, shape and texture have a marvellous ability to impart energetic and healing qualities to us.

My beautiful fairy friend Sokli (you can read about her here) and I chose these flower pictures for their energy and how this can positively affect you.  We have also meditated on each image to charge it up for you.

Here’s Sokli’s message to you:

Hiya. Hi Hi Hi! Remember that the Earth is your Mother too, and she loves you very much and so do we. Flowers is always a nice gift for yourselves and you don’t even have to pick them, you can grow them in your garden or go for a nice walk and drink up all their lovely goodness. Even perfumes and essential oils that smell of flowers are good for you because they still have the magic in them from the flower. Flowers is to make us happy and to give us gifts. I love them very much and I hope you do too, and we made some nice flower presents for you so that you remember how much we love you. It’s a present for EVERYONE. And please be kind to yourself and please be kind to the planet. It’s real important that we all look after each other. Okay bye and thanks for being our friend. We love love love you Love from your friend Sokli xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I will guide you on a journey to open you up to your highest potential and clearest direction for 2019 (and I am so excited about this workshop I could spontaneously break out into a happy dance!). No matter what level you’re at I’ll have something for you on my program. More details here!

The Compromise My Husband Makes To Honour Fairy Wishes

“Even though the bee is small, there she is on the flower, doing something of value. And the value she creates there contributes to a larger ecosystem of value, in that mountain meadow, in that range of mountains, in the world and even the universe. And can’t you just feel how happy she is?”
Jay Ebben

A few years ago, during a channelling session at one of my Pop-Up Shop events my fairy friend Sokli spoke about the importance of bees – and how we could help to support them by planting blue, white, purple and yellow flowers. She also asked us to let our lawns go a bit wild, because clover and other flowering legumes and herbs supported so many bees, moths and insects, which in turn supported the lizards and frogs and birds, and so on in the web of life.

My husband Ben was there that night recording the session for me. A few days later, home at the farm, I watched him drive the ride-on mower erratically around the house garden. Why? He was doing what Sokli asked and avoiding all the clover patches.

I’m happy to report that we have a thriving bee population now, of many species. And lawns filled with buzzy clover patches.

Please spare a thought for our bee friends and avoid using chemicals on your lawns and gardens. It would be terrific if you could plant some bee-friendly plants in pots or in your garden beds, and help to create some small habitats that can support a healthier happier planet. Plus you’ll get the bonus of nature’s beauty!

And if you’d like to come to my next Pop-Up Shop Channelling event in November you can find out more about that here.

Much love to you, Nicole ❤ xx

A Special Mini-Retreat and Workshop Offer

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
― Benjamin Franklin

It’s almost time for our Working with Crystals – Soul Sanctuary Retreat a whole week of learning, fun, spiritual foundation practices and sessions with me and my Guides at beautiful Byron Bay (and the good news is that there is one last-minute spot available after someone pulled out due to illness, so if you want to join us let Dana now asap. Her details are below!)

We’ve kept this retreat small and intimate – there’s some very special practices we’ll be doing together, and it’s very hands-on. Dana and I are so excited, because we’ve got a gorgeous group and we’ll be doing lots and lots of hands-on practical work and craft as well as our normal channelling sessions and teaching.

But we’re doing some VERY significant work on this retreat, and it seemed a shame not to be able to share parts of that. So we’re doing something very special. We’ve created two small events where you can come join us on retreat. Let me tell you about them!

Offering 1: Working with Crystals Mini-Retreat. 26 and 27 November, 2017. This is a mini-residential weekend where you stay with us at retreat and join in all of the experiences and events.

This retreat is very hands-on. Over our weekend together I will show you:

  • How to ground and connect – using your chakras to centre and open your energies for all forms of intuitive work and healing
  • How to activate your hand chakras
  • Selection and care of crystals
  • Meditation with crystals
  • How to craft and use your very own crystal pendulum
  • An evening of channelling with Nicole and her Guides about the specific energies of 2018, and this new period of energetic expansion
  • How to craft a crystal mandala to take home with you, featuring a shamanic stone programmed specifically for you by Nicole and a range of crystals you will choose yourself that have been programmed in a variety of energies including the 2012 Transit of Venus and our 2016 Ancestors and Songlines Crystal Healing Grid. You’ll learn how to put your own intentions and energies into the grid, and to activate it to emit those energies and intentions for you over the year ahead.

My focus is on helping you to gain confidence in using crystals and in accessing your own abilities as a Lightworker and Healer. I also want you to share the experience of coming together with a like-minded group of people for friendship, learning and sharing, and spiritual development.

Cost for the Mini-Retreat, inclusive of everything including all your take-home materials  is $599 for a share room or $689 for a single room.

Offering 2: Working with Essences One-Day Workshop, 29 November 2017

This is a one-day non-residential workshop where you join us on retreat to learn to make flower and crystal essences, which you will then take home with you.

Come join us for a day jam-packed with fun and practical magic.

We’ll start our day with a channelled session with myself and Sokli, who will share the reasons and traditions behind making crystal and plant essences, and how you can use these essences in your daily life. She’ll also be able to give you a personal insight, just for you!

You’ll then learn to make an essence using the energy of plants, and an essence using the energy of crystals. Both of these essences will come home with you! We’ll also have time for meditation, some simple energy and healing work, and lots of friendship, sharing and delicious food.

Cost for the One Day Workshop, inclusive of everything including all your take-home materials is $289.

This is a fabulous retreat, and these two extra little offerings are very special. I won’t run any of them again in this format, so if you’ve ever wanted to experience my Crystals Retreat or get a taste of my work through a mini-retreat or workshop this is your opportunity.

We have only allocated a few places for the Mini-Retreat and One-Day Workshop so please book promptly! We can’t wait to see you there 🙂

To join us please contact Dana at nicolecodyinfo@gmail.com or by ringing us in Australia on

+61 7 3256 0815 or +61 438 438 775.

*Remember too, that we’ve got our Pop Up Shop, Channelling Evening with Planner Launch and Christmas Party, and two short workshops in Brisbane on 15 and 16 December. More information here.

Saving Dudley Dog!

“Such short little lives our pets have to spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting for us to come home each day.” ~  John Grogan

Australia is in the grip of a ferocious heatwave right now. Late yesterday afternoon I lay down on my bed in our air-conditioned bedroom, thoroughly exhausted and grateful to be in the cool. I’ve worked a few big days, and been on call outside work hours too. So many people have been affected by the moon, and the energies of February. It’s been a time of high stress and peak transformation for many. Even my spare hours have been crowded with lending support to others. But that’s okay – it’s why I’m here.

As I was almost asleep I heard a loud but insistent voice. A squeaky, childlike voice.

“Wake up, wake up!” the voice said. “Dudley Dog is in trouble.”

It was my fairy friend, Sokli. She sounded quite agitated.

“Hurry up,” she said. “You have to call his mum. He’s too, too hot and there’s no water and no shade and he’s in big trouble. You have to help him NOW!”

Immediately I thought of a friend, and her dog Dudley. But she would never leave her old dog out in the backyard in a heatwave! I struggled to think who Sokli might be talking about.

“You know his mum,” she said. “The Jo Anne Lady. She just moved houses and she isn’t allowed to have a dog inside. You have to call her!”

Suddenly I did remember a Joanne lady who I haven’t talked to for over a year, possibly longer? Yes, that was the one. I turned on my computer and found her phone number. Joanne was still at work in the middle of the city, and surprised that I was calling her. Did she have a dog called Dudley? Yes, she did, a German Shepherd cross. He was a rescue dog, about four years old. She’d had him for six months and he was the love of her life. How did I know? Joanne’s surprise soon turned to panic as I told her he was having problems with the heat. She promised me she would leave work straight away and go home to her pet.

I hadn’t been off the phone ten minutes when Sokli began yelling in my ear again.

“TOO SLOW. SHE’S TOO SLOW! She has to hurry up or Dudley won’t make it!”

I called Joanne back. She was just leaving work, and still had to catch a bus and then walk the rest of the way home. The trip would take an hour. Maybe more if the traffic was bad.

Joanne moved to this house last weekend, after taking a transfer to a new city. She hadn’t met the neighbours yet. She didn’t know anyone who could check on her dog for her. “Call the RSPCA,” I urged her, “or your closest vet. I promise, it’s a genuine emergency.”

That was all I could do. I did a healing meditation for Dudley, and I called on every energy and entity I could think of to help him until someone turned up at his door. I put a post on my facebook wall, asking my friends to send love and energy to him and his mum too. I figured it would help both Dudley dogs and both mums.

Late last night Joanne rang me back. Someone from the vet’s office had rushed to Joanne’s house and found Dudley collapsed in the back yard. He was dangerously dehydrated and in severe heat distress. If they had found Dudley even an hour later they may not have been able to save him.

Joanne had left two bowls of water out for Dudley before she went to work, and he had a doghouse to shelter in too. But in a heatwave a doghouse becomes like a sauna – and offers no protection from the heat at all. In the late afternoon Dudley had absolutely no shade, and his water was long gone.

Image from www.vetary.com

Joanne texted me again this morning. Dudley is being moved from intensive care, and they expect he will make a full recovery. The vets are quite amazed at how well Dudley has bounced back. What a lucky thing that Sokli was paying attention yesterday afternoon, and that so many caring people sent love and energy Dudley’s way. Thank you to all of you who helped. I know it made a difference!

Please, if you are experiencing a heatwave or a hot day, think of your animals and do all you can to provide them with a cool shady place to rest, and lots of water in multiple locations in case one gets knocked over. Shell baths with water or ice are good too. If possible, let your pets come into the cool of the house until the heatwave has passed.

There are some excellent suggestions for keeping your pets cool here.

It’s also a kindness if you can leave bowls of water out for the birds and the wildlife. Everyone is affected by this kind of heat.

Thank you again, and lots of love from Sokli and I,

Nicole <3 xx

Saturday Workshops

Saturday 26 November – Morning Workshop 10am to 12pm

Make Your Own Talisman and Healing Beads – A Talisman is a small spiritual object which has been made with love and infused with specific energies to help attract or achieve a certain outcome. I was taught variously how to make Talismans by one of my Aboriginal Aunties, by a Native American Medicine Woman and also by a friend’s grandmother, who came from a long line of traditional healers in her culture (which is also the culture of my own ancestors).

In this workshop I will show you how to make a Talisman so that it is infused with energy, purpose and intent. I will show you how to ‘sing’ your beads into harmony with an energy or outcome.

Talisman making is a sacred act of focus and devotion for yourself or someone you care about. There will be many materials for you to choose from, but I also encourage you to bring something of your own – such as a charm, small image, feather, crystal or shell, if it has a special significance.

Healing Beads are beads that can be held or worn and which hold energies specific to your well-being. They can be used to focus on any issue or area of health and well-being for yourself or a loved one.

You will make and take home a hand-crafted Talisman and a set of Healing Beads. All materials and information will be provided. Morning tea will also be served. Suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners. This workshop is open to adults and children aged 15 and up.

Cost: $120  – Please RSVP to Dana at nicolecodyinfo@gmail.com

Talisman beginnings

Saturday 26 November – Afternoon Workshop 1pm to 4pm

Make Your Own Medicine Bag and Learn Foundation Spiritual Practices – A Medicine Bag is a bag which contains personal items that focus your attention on your spiritual and metaphysical development. When we make or embellish our own Medicine Bag we infuse it with energy, purpose and ritual. It creates a powerful intention that helps to support and grow our spiritual practice. This is all about practical mysticism!

I have my own Medicine Bag that comes everywhere with me, and that enables me to create a spiritual and sacred space where ever I might be, on any corner of the planet.

In this workshop you will embellish your own Medicine Bag (the bag is already made but you will be restyling it to suit your energies – yep, there will be crafting and all kinds of lovely things to play with!), according to age-old mystical traditions. I will also cover the practices and tools that can help you to develop a regular spiritual practice and strengthen your intuitive and psychic ability. We will look at the fundamentals of working with crystals, connecting with your guides, simple meditation techniques, using oracle and tarot cards to give yourself an intuitive reading, and some foundation metaphysical principles for raising your vibration. These are all the things I used at the beginning of my own journey, and that have led me to where I am today.

You will create and take home your own Medicine Bag. You will be given a substantial range of tools and materials to go into your Medicine Bag to create a strong foundation practice for your ongoing psychic and metaphysical development. Afternoon tea will also be served. Suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners. This workshop is open to adults and children aged 15 and up.

Cost: $240  – Please RSVP to Dana at nicolecodyinfo@gmail.com

Note: If you choose to attend both Saturday workshops, total cost will be discounted to $320.

Create A Foundation Of Spiritual Habits – Workshop

2012-09-01 10.32.54

“You can’t make yourself feel positive, but you can choose how to act, and if you choose right, it builds your confidence.”
~ Julien Smith, The Flinch

“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi

One of the things that has been most useful in developing my psychic and intuitive abilities has been my daily spiritual practice. Each morning when I wake up I take my Medicine Bag – a bag filled with the tools I use in my morning meditations and rituals – and I sit myself somewhere to quietly greet the day.

I light a candle and some incense, I choose a crystal, I sit in meditation, after which I use a deck of oracle or tarot cards to pull one card for the day and reflect on its meaning for me. Then I write any insights in my journal. This might take me five minutes on the busiest of days, or up to an hour when I have time to go deeply into my practice.

Because all my tools are in a small bag I can take that bag everywhere with me, and I do. I have visited friends, taken business trips, gone on holidays and still carried out my daily routine. My Medicine Bag has travelled Australia, crossed the oceans, and been my companion as I have roamed the world.

No matter where I am, I am anchored by ritual and daily practice. And when the world feels particularly crazy and hard to navigate, this daily practice becomes a place for essential grounding and centering as I find my way back to my heart and to that place of love that is deep connection with spirit.

Candles by Dilara at Our Earth's Magic

Candles by Dilara at Our Earth’s Magic

On Saturday 26 November I’ll be teaching a hands-on workshop, showing you how to create and customise your own Medicine Bag. I’ll show you how to decorate and personalise a plain bag, to infuse it with your energies and intentions.

Then we’ll fill the bag with tools, and I will show you how to use them.

You’ll be given a beautiful hand-crafted candle and your own incense.

You’ll be given a crystal, hand-chosen for you by me.

You’ll be given a journal and shown how to dedicate this journal to your journey-work.

You’ll be taught some simple meditations.

I’ll connect you with your Guides through meditation – and then send you the meditation as an MP3 when the workshop concludes.

I’ll show you how to work with tarot and oracle cards to do a simple intuitive reading for yourself, and how to reflect on this reading within your journal.

I’ll show you a range of different meditation practices using singing bowls, singing bells, mala beads and mantras.

You’ll go home with your own Medicine Bag – ready to begin your spiritual journey with your own toolkit and foundation skills.

This Brisbane workshop runs from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday 26 November. It still has just a few spaces left, but they will book up fast so please let us know if you’d like to join us. Afternoon tea will  be served. Suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners. This workshop is open to adults and children aged 15 and up.

Cost: $240 for workshop, Medicine Bag and Tools – Please RSVP to Dana at nicolecodyinfo@gmail.com

Note: If you’d like to experience a full day working with Nicole, you can also attend the morning workshop at a discounted rate of $80, making the total cost for both workshops $320. Details of morning workshop below.

Fairy Magic!

“That’s the thing about magic; you’ve got to know it’s still here, all around us, or it just stays invisible for you.”
~ Charles de Lint

I have a special necklace that I often wear when I am working. It has a small rose-gold cross, a Phantom Good Mark (yep, truly – Ghost who walks and all that) that Ben had made for me, and a St Raphael medal (St Raphael is known as the healing angel).

When we came up to the city last week I accidentally left it behind at the farm after taking it off and leaving it beside my bed the night before we left home. How frustrating. I’d really wanted to wear it overseas.

So you can imagine my surprise when I opened my glasses case yesterday. I have two pairs of reading glasses that I only use when my eyes are playing up from Lyme. I keep one on my desk in Brisbane, and one at the farm. I haven’t used either pair for months but yesterday my vision was so bad that I needed them.

There was my necklace, hidden beneath my glasses! I should have known that might happen. Strange things like this are quite the regular occurrence in our household.
