The View From My Bedroom Window

The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.
― W.B. Yeats

Hi, Lovelies.

Every morning before the sun is up I start with a meditation (and then I end my day this way as well 😊).

By the time I open my eyes after my morning meditation it is dawn, or sometimes later, and every single day, once my eyes adjust to being back in the world, I feel like I have been given this incredible gift when I look out over the view from my bedroom window here in the Treehouse.

On my thirtieth birthday I woke up and I could see auras around people (which sounds amazingly cool, except that it was awful and I thought that perhaps I had a brain tumor or some terrible mental or physical illness). After some time adjusting, I decided it was a good thing.

On my fortieth birthday I woke up and I could see the energy fields around everything (which sounds fabulous and amazing too, except that I struggled to walk on grass, to harvest my vegetables, or to pick fruit from a tree for about a year!).

I’m used to it now, and it has become ‘normal’ for me, but still, when I first open my eyes everything once again looks magical.

And it is, really, isn’t it?

Our natural world is incredible, precious and holds magic and mystery we are yet to comprehend.

My wish for you today is that you are able, even for a moment, to feel into and connect to that magical energy that is all around us too!

Love, sparkles of light, and the smell of light rain on leaves and grass, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. Dear Nicole
I’m still waiting to see such energies. It’s been many years since I started asking.
Have a lovely Christmas, I wish for you and all your readers that whatever the extent of our circumstances, everything falls neatly into place to produce a happy and serendipitous day. πŸ’•
    Much love
