“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”
~ W.B. Yeats
I promised that during our Journal Challenge I would be having some giveaways, and here is the most precious of them all. A stone from my own personal and much-loved collection.
This is only a small crystal – in fact, as you can see from the picture, it is just over an inch long and oh so magical. Alas my photos don’t do this stone justice. There are whole worlds inside this crystal.
But size truly is irrelevant. This is a powerhouse of a stone! This crystal is a Chlorite Phantom Quartz – an Australian stone, from the wilds of the west coast of Tasmania. Originally the crystal stopped growing, and then was covered with a mineral called chlorite. At some stage the crystal began growing again and now the original crystal is still apparent inside the larger stone – a crystal inside a crystal. That is why it is now called a Phantom. Other names include a Ghost stone or a shadow or spectre crystal.
This Phantom Quartz will help to focus your meditations, and to connect you with your guides. Additionally, with the energy of the Chlorite Phantom, this stone can help you connect deeply with the Great Mother (Earth), nature, and the devic kingdom (all of those lovely fairies and their friends). It will reawaken your memories of similar connections from other lives, and gently open you up to your spiritual and metaphysical gifts.
Additionally, I programmed this crystal during the 2012 Transit of Venus as a Devotional Crystal. This makes the stone exceptionally powerful as a tool of personal transformation.
For a chance to win this magical crystal add your name to the comments at the bottom of the page for a place in the draw. For additional entries in the draw go over to the Cauldrons and Cupcakes facebook page. Add your name to the post about the crystal draw and get an additional place. If you share this post or the facebook post on social media you get five extra places in the draw for every share.
I’ll put all of your names into a hat and make the final draw at 4pm Brisbane time on Sunday November 23. The winner will be announced on facebook straight after the draw, and then on the blog the following day.
