A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves.
~ Lao Tzu
I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things.

This Quarter I am using The Light Seer’s Tarot by Chris-Anne for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 3 OF CUPS. It’s a week for coming together, sharing, caring, and for doing what we can for ourselves, our families, friends and communities. It’s a week where you may be also be called to lead, or to join in. Either way, engage where you can.
This week 3 OF CUPS helps us to see that we are always stronger together, so gather your people to you. Your people may be friends or family. They may be strangers who share common interests or goals. They could be your animal family, or the natural world. What matters is that you do what you can this week to connect, and through that connection nourish yourself and each other.
When the world is hurting, when life is crazy, when someone in our community is doing it tough, humans are hard-wired to come together and help.
Open your heart this week. Check in on others, and engage in activities that foster connection and communication. Be open to asking for help too! Sometimes we are in the position to help others, and sometimes our gift is to be able to let others help us. Always, in these moments of vulnerability and sharing, healing happens. Walls tumble down. We find ourselves reminded of our similarities, our capacity to connection, and our capacity to love.
Making and sharing food is always a great way to connect, and where relationships can be deepened and memories made. Maybe the people you most need to connect with are the ones already under your roof!
Some of you will be called to leadership too this week – to be the one to gather the group together, to host the event, to put your idea into motion when it seems that no-one else is doing anything. Trust that your ideas and yearnings are worthy of being actioned. Sometimes all it takes is one good idea vocalised, and then others come and bring their own strengths and talents and before you know it, magic happens.
It’s okay for your connection to be purely a social one, or one with a need to work towards a bigger project or cause. Just connect – it’s good for your soul, and for all of humanity.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead: I know I have a lot of people in my community with chronic illness and serious fatigue. So, how can you connect? If it’s safe to do so, reach out to others or accept that invitation. If that won’t work for you, look to connect with others via the internet, or the phone. Small actions count too. Maybe you can knit something for a social justice project, write a letter, or donate – but in ways that are manageable for you and your energy. When you meditate or pray, take a moment to feel into the people all over the world who are doing the same in this moment, and let your positive intention join with theirs so that you can feel part of something bigger than yourself.

The earth has been smashed by an unusually high level of solar flares in the last little while, with more to come. For those of us who are energetically sensitive you may find that you have been more tired, more wired, more anxious or more unsettled.
This post I wrote a while ago on support for managing Solar Flares may be of use to you.
Also, this is not all in your head – so please don’t give yourself a hard time or feel that old symptoms and flare-ups are a sign of illness worsening or returning. Your body is just under a lot of extra electromagnetic and geopathic stress right now.
I’m doing my best to manage my own symptoms by upping my magnesium (more epsom salts baths and foot soaks) grounding foods, good hydration and electrolytes, and rest wherever I can. Meditation has also been very helpful.
I’ll remind you that my Journeymaker’s Planner 2022 (Digital and Hard Copy) are massively reduced in price to get these last copies out the door. This week I am still focusing on my special secret project, and I’m also thrilled to announce that my sweet peas are poking their heads out of the soil and my basil and tomatoes are growing like crazy. So, overall, things are pretty good here at the treehouse.
Remember this week, listen to your body and nourish it with the things that will help it to feel more balanced, rested and grounded. Connect where you can , but don’t push into exhaustion – that never serves anyone, least of all you.
I’m also sending love to everyone who is celebrating the holy month of Ramadan. May your fasting and feasting go well!
Biggest hugs and love to you, and a serious amount of brown rice, bitter leafy greens and chai tea, Nicole xx
