This Quarter I am using Wishcraft Oracle by Stacey Demarco, with artwork by Elizabeth Tiethoff, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to welcome in the New Year and guide us for the week ahead is 30. WISH UPON A STAR
2024 is a year for fresh starts, for creativity, healing and social connection. It’s a year for ambitious projects and for getting stuff done.
January is a month for taking stock of your current position, for dreaming, for making plans and for creating solid beginnings towards the things you want.
30. WISH UPON A STAR
We start the year reminded of the power of our dreams. And a dream is never more important than when we are in a hard place, a dark place, a place from which the attainment of that dream seems impossible.
Take heart this week. We are being offered hope through the journey of transformation and the promise of wishes coming true. 2024 is a year where success will come by our own actions, but where the Universe will rise up to meet us as we take our first steps.
The power is within us. We create our own reality from our thoughts, words, intentions and actions. We hold within us the ability to imagine a better, brighter future for ourselves.
What will your year be like? That’s up to you. So dream it. Imagine it without placing limits on yourself. Then trust in a benevolent universe that will strive to bring you those dreams, giving ten-fold to the energy you yourself put forward.
As the year commences we see that having a solid foundation of self-awareness gives us wings to fly. It’s a month of gaining perspective and learning lessons without becoming embittered. In fact, as we gain perspective we become more upbeat. We see how far we have come, we recognise our resilience and we regard ourselves with a new respect. As we are uplifted we are more easily able to uplift others. Suddenly it seems practical to choose a future for ourselves that is bigger and more incredible than anything we’d dared to dream before. We start saying ‘Why not?’ instead of ‘Why?’ and we mean it as an invitation to the Universe to make our dreams come true.
2024’s energies dare us to live boldly and to ask more of life. There is a spirit of fun about this year ahead. We’re invited to take ourselves and our problems a little less seriously. It’s easier to push past old limitations and to launch ourselves out into the world.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
Momentum will carry us along this week, and this month if we get busy. Did I mention 2024 is a year for bold plans and action?
We’ll need to have our telescope with us, so we can look into the future and decide on a destination. If we can’t decide on a destination how can we get there? Use this week (or take the whole month f you need it) to plan, to write those plans down, to commit to the plans and to refine the plans. Make a copy of your plan and place it in your journal, or your back-up disk, cloud or dropbox – print a copy out and stick it above your desk, or on the fridge or the toilet door to keep your plans safe so that you can continually refer to them as you progress along your journey. This kind of plan becomes a map!
