The Hunt For The Christmas Tree

Things are never lost to you; you are lost to them. If ever in need of a Thing that has lost you, simply stop hiding from it.

Shannon Hale

Hey, Lovelies.

Today is the day. Today is dedicated to packing and shipping orders and to the Spirit of Christmas. I’m working all day tomorrow, doing client readings, so I’m embracing the energies of December and slowing down today, and spending time on what matters. We are going to do our best to find our Christmas Tree, and the box of decorations that goes with it. You know how it is when you move house. It takes time to unpack, and for everything to find its place. Right now, we’re not actually sure where the Christmas tree actually is.

It could be in the storage place behind the fireplace, where you have to crawl through a hole that opens out into a kind of room. There are heaps of boxes there, Ben thinks mostly books (waiting for us to get our bookshelves here) but it’s a possibility.

Or it could be in the big shed at the bottom of our yard.

Or maybe it’s in the first storage shed. Or, but Ben thinks it’s unlikely, it could be in the second storage shed which is full of all my crystals and workshop stuff.

If all else fails I will resort to a potplant with fairy lights. My heart wants a tree this year, of some kind, for our first Christmas in the treehouse.

Wish us luck!

Hugs, nostalgia and an excellent Christmas playlist, Nicole xx

People are loving my new Nurture Mala, which is available in our ETSY Store. Our limited edition Journeymaker’s Journal is pretty special too.

This is what people have been saying about them:

Melissa said: There are no words to describe the beauty of this journal! Its STUNNING!!!! there is even gold along the pages and has beautiful pictures and amazing sayings on the covers I cannot thank the seller enough. I highly recommend this store!!!

Katrina said: My beautiful Mala arrived on Monday. Oh my goodness! That Mala! I was in a terrible state of chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia pain after a massive weekend spent attending a 2 day Botanical painting workshop. I had to get to a final afternoon painting class on Monday and just didn’t know how I was going to haul myself there. Then the postman arrived with Nicole’s parcel. Almost as soon as I put the Mala on I calmed down. My pain and my anxiety subsided. The energy of nurturance was incredible. I have never had such an immediate positive reaction to anything before. It is simply stunning and wonderful. Needless to say I was able to get to my class and finish my painting from the weekend with my nurturance Mala tucked safely under my painting apron. Yay!

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. I can’t agree more about the Mala 💖as soon as I had it in my hands I felt this sense of reassuring peace come over me. There is an unexpected (for me) weight to it…like a heavy blanket that steadied my nervous system. I am totally in love with it. Thank you to the elf in the workshop, wrapping with such colourful care, the elf that organised and dispatched, and the elves elsewhere who were integral to bringing the joyousness into the world for us.
Good luck with the 🎄hunt. I have a similar cupboard under the stairs which is difficult to get to but totally perfect for the tree and other Christmas goodies. I call it the Christmas Tree Cupboard. I would look there🤞🎄
